  1. Thank you very much for the links to the new pics and the further information, Navy Trooper Fenson! About the Prison Tower: Like already mentioned I'm - at least until now - not very impressed by this set. At least one horse for the dragon knight should be included since he wear's a knight's armor with which he would not be aible to walk because of its weight. About the Advent Calendar: It's great to see that we'll get a huge number and diversity of minifigs: a good classic-styled blue wizzard, two lion knights, one dragon knight, a skeletton, a lion archer, a medieval woman, a blacksmith and a queen. (The medieval woman and the blacksmith will very supposably be exactly the same like in the MVV.) Although it's still a long time until then - but: With these great new minifigs I hope that TLG will release a medieval tournament as January 2011 Exclusive - with tribune, tents, many horses, minifigs and accessory - let's say a bigger re-design of 6060 Knight's Challenge:  (Regrettably I do not own this set. ) Klaus-Dieter
  2. Thank you very much for the clear pics, Tinn-man! The Wampa Cave really looks - the design of the cave, the animal skeletton, Hoth Luke and the Wampa. I have no use for the Snowspeeder - but it's ok that TLG included one for those which don't have got one yet. At least they designed it very similar in size and design to the one included in the Hoth Rebel Base set so they go together. I totally agree with you, Snowspeeder Pilot! It's too bad that TLG included Zev in the BP as well as in the Wampa Cave set. In one set there really should be a different pilot. I could well imagine that you're right, Ronacator! Perhaps you can tip on the bottom of the ice block and then Luke's lightsaber hops out. Klaus-Dieter
  3. Thank you very much for these links to the pics and the further information, Navy Trooper Fenson! About the Advent Calendar: It's great to see that we'll be getting a whole family. And the mini heli looks great, too. That there will be again a brick-built Xmas tree, a snowman and a Santa is really unspectacular but ok since this set is mainly aimed to kids. About the Lego Truck: Seeing now a much clearer version I must say that it looks even better than I thought it'll look anyway. There seem to be different mini Lego sets and the truck has some doors at the backside, too. Do you think that there'll be sleeper-cab with bed inside the driver's cab? That the 10199 Winter Toy Shop will be released in regular toy shops this year allows the conclusion that there won't be a new winter/Xmas set this year. Btw: Navy Trooper Fenson, do you know when the Helicopter And Limousine will be available in regular toy shops? Klaus-Dieter
  4. Thank you very much for this great mmultimedia-based review, Iain! This building and its interior look really  ! Cons: -pirate shirt for the boy (it does really not look city-like) -very, very small dollhouse -golden tumbler for the ice-cream (I know that these days kids get nearly always what they want and that is really ok - but a golden tumbler is imo too much! ) -stange and old-styled looking scooter Pros: -a lot of awesome accessory -excellent architecture - esp. the dark green marquees above the display windows -totally awesome interior design - esp. the chandelier, the escalators and the mannequins It's really a shame that this is a CC-styled building and not a City set with open backwalls since we City fans do want a mall/shopping center/big store, too! As for the scooter I'd prefer this my version of a modern city scooter. Klaus-Dieter
  5. Hello everybody! After having seen that strange old-styled scooter in the 10211 Grand Emporium I thought that it would be great to get a modernised version. So I tried my luck with LDD: Boy With City Scooter It's always good to have a city scooter to get quickly home from school () or to go shopping in the city. This set includes a modern city scooter and a boy with rucksack. Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter
  6. I'd really like to get those two new elements/molds (which may be consist of several elements): TV Camera (for inside TV shows, news, ...) Movie Camera wiht removable microphone (for outside reports) Of course the best would be to get a whole new TV/movie theme or at least some TV/movie sets. If not some TV/movie minifigures as parts of a possible Minifigures series 3 would be cool. Klaus-Dieter
  7. Thank you all very much for the new pics! The new Castle sets look ! The new torsos and the new helmets look brilliant as does the architecture of the king's castle and the small tower with the catapult. Nevertheless there are some things which disturb me: -the prison carriage is no prison carriage - the prisoner could very easily get out of his "prison" -the prison tower looks to me more like one of the Ninja towers, that there is a big gate which you can only pass difficultly on the one hand but some stairs to get inside the tower very easily on the other hand is absurd -there are nearly no horses this is a Castle theme with knigts, TLG - and what do knights need?! - Horses! Since I'm not hundred percent convinced of the new Castle theme because of the reasons above but even because my wallet already cries with wanting to get some of the new SW and City sets and Minifigures I'll pass on this Castle theme. Perhaps I'll buy the two Impulse sets and maybe even the advent calendar (depending on what it'll include). Nevertheless I really welcome it that TLG goes more classic in the Castle line, too, and did stop that ugly FA sets! Klaus-Dieter
  8. Thank you very much for these new pics, AllanSmith! The Cargo Train with the loading station looks ! The only thing I do not like is that the containers have no doors to open and the cargo stuff included seems to be very limited, too. The Passenger Train looks , too! I only miss the train doors and some more passengers. I totally agree with you, AllanSmith! The new Train Station includes a great pedestrian bridge but the train station building is much too small and I even don't like it that only one train can drive below the pedestrian bridge . As great as the two trains are, the train station is imo a flop. Klaus-Dieter
  9. Thank you very much for this new picture, legomilk! Series 2 looks ! From the figs we can see on the pic I mainly like the female singer, the Mexican and the Greek soldier. Klaus-Dieter
  10. Thank you very much for the new pics, baby and Jammie, and for the link to the video, Christian! The Hoth Wampa Cave set is - I'm really content with the Wampa and the new Hoth Luke minifigure. The only thing which disturbs me is that again Zev is included and not another Rebel pilot. The new Slave I is , too, - I really like that TLG already included that new carbonite block this year and not firstly in the Cloud City set next year. Boba is very detailed and looks great, too. The only thing which disturbs me is that Bossk is green instead of brown/tan/grey. And of course the price is usury: 70 Euros would even be expensive but ok, but 90 Euros for one ship and only three minifigs is really usury. I'm looking forward to NY Toy Fair in order to hopefully see some pics of the AT-AT and 10212. I'm really surpirsed whether 10212 will now be a playset or an UCS set - hopefully it'll be a playset. Klaus-Dieter
  11. I totally agree with you, The Green Brick Giant, that Trains sets are very expensive. Nevertheless it's clear that TLG decided to release the new Trains theme as this year's summer line. But there will be other sets, too: the City House, the Lego Truck and the TRU Exclusive. I totally agree with you, lightningtiger! There surely will be no more City sets - apart from perhaps and hopefully a new Winter set - this year. Do only compare at how many big sets we got last year and how many this year you already will see that TLG releases more (big) City sets than the last years. The TRU Exclusive will be this year's City Exclusive. And - like already mentioned - if we've got many luck we perhaps might even get a new Winter set. But more than two big exclusive sets is imo really unrealistic to believe. And don't forget about the City House which will be some sort of hard to find set, too. Nevertheless I do hope for some zoo sets, a bank and a post office in summer 2011, a new Hospital theme in spring 2011 and a cargo center, a mall or a pleasure cruiser as exclusive City set for 2011. Well, let's see what we'll get. Klaus-Dieter
  12. Thank you very much for this great review, d00dz! If there would be a poll added to this topic I would vote for Outstanding Cons: -helicopter imo too huge -no doors in the heli -no seats in the limousine Pros: -many accessory -limo only four studs wide -great interior inside the heli -great minifigure selection -very well designed helicopter -awesome design of the limousine All in all this is imo an outstanding set since it pleases those people which want a new civilian helicopter and those which want a limousine - and of course even those which want both. Klaus-Dieter
  13. That's a totally awesome Western MOC, Etzel! I really it! The outside of the shop as well as the interior and even the landscape with the cactus and the brown tree look absolutely realistic! It's great to see that you included an interior, too! The most I like the cactus, the vulture and the interior of the shop. Very, very well done! Btw: It's great to see that many people being interested in Lego Western and building that many awesome Western MOCs in the last time! So hopefully TLG sees this (in addition to the petition and our report) as a clear sign that we really need a new Western theme - soon! Klaus-Dieter
  14. That's a totally awesome Western MOC, I Scream Clone! I really it! The landscape looks very realistic and the small scenes with all the minifigs look very lovely! The most I like the scene of the two cowboys straining the gold. Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  15. Thank you very much for these pics, Brick Town Talk! If there would be a poll added to this topic I would vote for Outstanding Cons: -helicopter imo too huge -no seats in the limousine Pros: -many accessory -great minifigure selection -very well designed helicopter -awesome design of the limousine All in all this is imo an outstanding set since it pleases those people which want a new civilian helicopter and those which want a limousine - and of course even those which want both. I can't await to get this set. Unluckily in Germany we'll have to wait until June til it will be released in regular toy shops. Klaus-Dieter
  16. Thank you very much for this great review, Brick Town Talk! I voted for Outstanding Cons: -already common torso for the farmer -gates of the enclosure do not close completely Pros: -great new female Farmer torso -lovely pigs -awesome designed and detailed tractor All in all this is imo an outstanding Farm set which combines animals with vehicles and even a bit location. Klaus-Dieter
  17. Thank you very much for this great review, Matn! I voted for Average Cons: For what do we need that screen?! Pros: -nice civilian minifig (can even be well used for non-Airport) -great accessory (shoulder bag and camera) All in all it's a very nice additional set to the new airport sets (for those which will buy them) but even a great possibility to get some civilian minifigs for your city in general. I personally would have prefered something more non-Airport related instead of the airport roller and the screen. Klaus-Dieter
  18. Thank you very much for the new pics, Christian, KimT and legomilk! To the Wampa Cave: I welcome it that the Snowspeeder will be very similar in design to the one of the Hoth Rebel Base - so you can put one next to the other. The final version of the Wampa is imo well successful and the new torso for Luke is brilliant. The only critic I have is that we get again Zev although he already appears in the BP. Klaus-Dieter
  19. This is an absolutely amazing Wild West MOC, kris kelvin! I really it! Like it was already mentioned, I , too, have to agree that this is one of the best if not the best Western MOC I have ever seen! The architecture of the buildings is simply perfect and looks absolutely realistic. The many minifigs and additional stuff add a very realistic and lovely atmosphere to the buidlings. The only thing I do not like are the strange brick-built legs of the two coachers on the coach. Otherwise it's simply perfect! The most I like the architecture of the inn, the water tower, the pack horse and the coach. A tip: A decent interior for the buildings would make this your MOC unsurpassable. Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  20. That's a great Wild West MOC, I Scream Clone! I really it! The buildings look very realistic and the minifigs add the right atmosphere! The only thing I do not like are the "coats" of the bandidts - they would surely look minimum the good without them. And the signs "Sheriff" and "Saloon" put in these square "boxes" look imo too modern. Otherwise it's great! The most I like the detailed railings of the saloon. Very well done! Btw: Did you (think about to) add some interior in the buildings? Klaus-Dieter
  21. Yes, you're right that there are no Stormtroopers listed on the poster, BlueDragonZ. On the other hand Stormtroopers are very common minifigs and characters which have been appearing for 10 years now - so perhaps TLG thought that they aren't interesting enough to show them on the poster. Klaus-Dieter
  22. Thank you very much for the new pic, Rick! The minifigs look really great! Like it was already mentioned I, too, can't wait to see which minifigs we'll see in the 2nd wave. I bet for Pirate-Soldier, Police Man-Robber, two knights and hopefully some civilians (some kids and some more woman would be great). Klaus-Dieter
  23. I hope that in the final version of the Cargo Train set the crane will have a grappler and not only a crane hook. And I hope that the containers will include doors to open them and some cargo stuff to put inside them. But since these things aren't shown on the prelim pic I fear we won't get them. Btw: Do you think that the red container on the red truck is only one big container or two or three smaller containers (like the red Lego container on the waggon)? Klaus-Dieter
  24. Thank you very much for the new picture of the Helicopter And Limousine set, Navy Trooper Fenson and for the additional information, BrickStorm! About the Helicopter And Limousine: It's bad to hear that the helicopter won't have tables between the seats, no cokpit and no doors to open. It's great to hear that the limousine has a decent interior. About the Lego Truck: I hope that in the final version there will be doors in the back of the truck so you can load and enload the Lego sets from the side and from the back. About the City House (of which we regrettably don't have any pics yet): I hope that it'll look very similar to 6349 Holiday Villa - hopefully with a car (at the best non-Smart in blue with blue doors), a basketball basket, a lawn-mower (like in the new Creator house), green dustbin, blue/black bicycle, a small terrace, a kitchen, a living room, a bath room, a sleeping room, mother, father, son and daughter. That would be ! Btw: BrickStorm, did you see whether there are seats in the limousine (apart from the seat of the driver), too? Klaus-Dieter
