  1. Thank you all very much for your nice comments! Thanks, Big Cam. I built the oven very similar to the official one included in 10193 MVV. Thanks, lightningtiger. I'm glad to hear that you like it that much. Thanks, BlueBard. Thanks, TheBrickster. I totally agree with you: an Xmas village really needs a bakery. And so I tried to build one which could possibly be an addition to 10199. Thanks, Rick. Yes, I exactly wanted to build it very similar to the awesome Winter Toy Shop. Thanks, Christopher. You are right about the Xmas garland. I put it there since I was a bit disappointed when I saw that the garlands included in 10199 are dark grey and not in different colors or at least in yellow. Klaus-Dieter
  2. Hello everybody! Since BS is now up again I want to present you my winter MOCset I built for the great Xmas raffle of CopMike. Here it is: Winter Bakery And Christmas Tree Stand It's the last days before Christmas. Go to the Christmas tree stand in order to buy a Christmas tree for at home, buy a cake or some croissants in the bakery or watch the kids ice-skating. The minifigs: businessman, bakery saleswoman, baker, boy, girl, Xmas tree seller The interior includes a sales counter and a baking oven with a door that can be opened and closed: Many more pics can be found in this folder (when public) of my BS gallery. Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter
  3. Thank you very much for this information, Front! The only thing I don't like is that it might be that you buy many bags but do not get one complete minifig - or even many minifigs - of the sort you want to have. And with whom should we AFOLs exchange the minifig parts?! Of course we could do this via EB - but imagine only the shipping costs. Perhaps we've got much luck and there will be some Ebay or BL salesmen or saleswoman which buy many bags and then sell the complete minifig(s) so you can get the minifig you want to have. Klaus-Dieter
  4. This is a great MOC, TheBrickster! I really it! It looks very realistic! The most I like the nice interior and the cactus. Very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  5. Thank you very much for this great review, Svelte! This set is simply awesome!!! No single Pirates set until now can concurrate with it! Therefore I voted for Oustanding :pir-wub: Cons: -no crane to load and enload goods -no dinghy -no crow's nest Pros: -many miniffigures -lovely female minifig -awesome exterior design -brilliant interior design The most I like the interior details of the captain's cabin and the kitchen - simply ! It's really a shame that I have not the place and money to start collecting Pirates sets, too, since otherwise I immediately would buy this amazing set! Klaus-Dieter
  6. Thank you very much for this great raffle, CopMike and for making this great advent calendar, Siegfried! I can't await to see the prices and who will win. Klaus-Dieter
  7. Thank you very much for this news, Etzel! That's great to hear! So there's now really the time to start collecting a lot of money! It's even great that TLG releases a lot of new molds only for these minifigures! Klaus-Dieter
  8. Thank you very much for these new pics, Future74! These two BPs look really ! It's great that TLG this time even thought about giving us a Hoth Rebel Captain minifigure and a real Snowtrooper Commander minifig! These are definately the best BPs (we've seen until now)! Great job, TLG! Klaus-Dieter
  9. Thank you very much for this news, Alywin and the pic, grahamh_100! These minifigs really look  ! I really would like to get the caveman, some chearleaders, the clown, some cowboys, some Native Americans, the magician and some nurses! The only thing which disturbs me is that they very supposably will be included in opaque polybags. And one thing more: Since it's written "Legoland" on all these small pictures I fear that these minifigs will be only available in the Legolands and not in regular toy shops (or at least in Lego Stores). This would really be a shame since I surely am not aible and won't pay one very expensive entry to Legoland only in order to get some minifigs. So let's hope that they'll be available on regular basis, too! Btw: Does someone know whether these minifigs will be sold only in the Legolands? Klaus-Dieter
  10. Thank you very much for this raffle, CopMike! There are great entries so far! Since I want to participate, too, here is my entry: Winter Bakery And Christmas Tree Stand (I will open a seperate topic with more pics when BS hopefully will be up soon.) Klaus-Dieter
  11. This is again an absolutely amazing Western MOC, TheBrickster! I really it! It looks absolutely realistic - a prisoner transport was one of the things TLG really missed in the theme from 1996/97. Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  12. That's a great Western MOC, TheBrickster! I really it! It looks absolutely realistic! Although I fear that as an official set it woudn't sell that good it would be a great addition to a CS subtheme. The tan-black-red colors fit very well. Very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  13. Thank you very much for this information, Etzel! So there is a small castle for the dragon knights, too. With classic style I simply meant all Castle sets of the eightees and ninetees. E. g.: Does the new castle for the lion knights look more like the Lion Knights' Castle from 1995 or more like the last castle? Does the new dragon knights' castle look more like the Dragon Knights' Castle from 1993 or more like the Skelleton Tower? I hope you understand what I mean. FA was everything other than classic style: 1. Casltes were often built up on a hill so that the guards had a better view over the land around the castle. 2. Did you ever see a castle like Skeletton Tower in Classic Castle sets or even in reality?! 3. The interior of the castles of FA was quite bad. Older castle sets did not include much interior, too, but there nevertheless some rooms. 4. Apart from the regular soldiers the minifigs were complete fantasy. 5. Have you ever seen that many strange catapults and war vehicles of FA in older sets or even in reality?! Of course Lego can't and even shouldn't be absolutely realistic - but KK 2 and FA were really going to far! The only point in which I agree with you is that the small weaponry - bows, lances, swords of the soldiers, ... - were realistic. Well, let's hope - but since the January Exclusive will be that awesome Soldiers Ship of the Pirates theme I fear that we firstly will see another Castle Exclusive in 2011. Klaus-Dieter
  14. Thank you very much for this information, Etzel and Sandy! It sounds great that we won't get another fantasy theme. But I wouldn't and won't judge before we know more of the contents of the bigger (sets) and/or see pics. Reason: This new Castle theme might of course be a more classic Castle theme - but it might even include a lot of fantasy stuff and ugly minifigs (like in KK II) even when it is no real fantasy theme (like the current one is). I'm hoping that if there will be a dragon included (which is imo very supposably since we get dragon knights) it will be very similar to the classic one from 1993 and not that an ugly, brick-built and hugely oversized one from the fantasy area. Nevertheless I'm still optimistic that - after 10 years of really bad Castle sets - Lego is finally getting back to more classic structures and contents (like they did very successful with City and Pirates, too)! @ Etzel: Even when you had only a very short look: Do you still remember what the third Impulse set and the castle included? And do you remember whether the theme will be more classic styled (I do not only mean the minifigs and shields but even the locations and weappons) or more like KK II or FA? Klaus-Dieter
  15. This diorama and these MOCs look really awesome, brickzone! I really it! The village looks really realistic, with a very peaceful and calm atmosphere and stunning details! The most I like the Christmas market. Very, very well done! Yes - we really need a lot of add-ons to the Winter Toy Shop in order to build up a complete small winter village! Klaus-Dieter
  16. Thank you very much for this information, Etzel! Hm - a shelf with potions sounds much more interesting than only a crystal ball. Did he look like an evil wizzard or a good one? Did you see some pics of the other sets, too? Klaus-Dieter
  17. That's a great and very interesting topic, TheBrickster! I voted for It's all about the minifigs since for me the minifigs are always the heart of every set. But of course it's even all about the nice small buildings with their lovely interior and the perfect styled vehicles. Klaus-Dieter
  18. That's a totally awesome Western MOC, TheBrickster! I really it! It looks absolutely realistic and the choice of using more brown fits esp. for a CS supply wagon very well! I even like that your MOC does come with two soldiers and not only with one (like in the official set). Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  19. Thank you very much for this information, KimT! I
  20. Thank you very much for this information, Ras and sok! I'm a bit disappointed that there won't come another Tauntaun with the Wampa Attack set - imo it would make much more sense than a Snowspeeder. So let's hope that we'll at least get a new Rebel Pilot helmet printing (different to the one in the BP). Nevertheless it surely will be getting a great set. It's really a pity that we don't have got any more information about the Slave 1. Do you think it'll come with a minimalized carbonite freezing chamber or some other location or only the vehicle itself (with the minifigs of course)? Klaus-Dieter
  21. That's a great Western MOC, TheBrickster! I really it! It looks very realistic and the tan color fit very well! I personally would not have made a hole into the house - or at least I would have built a whole hole piece which can be shot out and put in after that again (like in Sheriff's Lock-Up) - but that's matter of taste Nice use of the lovely cypres tree (of which I sadly do not own one). Very well done! Btw: Does the house include some interior? Klaus-Dieter
  22. That's an absolutely awesome Western MOC, TheBrickster! I really it! It looks absolutely realistic and the details are stunning! I even like the very official set character of it and the official box art you added to it. You even showed that boats/ships not necessarily have to be very big to look good but that medium sized ships can look brilliant, too. Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  23. Thank you very much for the new pics of the BPs, Oky Wan Kenobi! The two BPs look really brilliant! I really have to buy two of each! It's great to see that we supposably get a really new type of Imp. Officer! Do I see wrong or could it be the armor from the Agents theme they use for him? Thank you very much for this information, Ras 74! I didn't think that the Wampa Attack will be getting such a big set. So it's even very sure that it'll include the Wampa's cave, the Wampa, some sort of animal skeletton, Luke, a Snowspeeder and two Rebel Pilots (perhaps one with the helmet from the BP and hopefully even one with one more new different helmet)? About a Tauntaun in the set I'm not sure - what do you think? 2010 is really getting a great year for us OT fans! Klaus-Dieter
  24. That's a totally awesome MOC/scenery, Selander! I really it! It looks absolutely realistic and the details are stunning! The most I like the concrete mixer - with its white-red color, its details and the car doors it looks even much better than the last official version from Lego! Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  25. I partly agree with you, KimT. Imo a new Boba Fett is not very likely: the new jetpack appeared already this year - so if TLG planed to use it for Boba Fett why didn't they already use it in the Magnet set?! But I agree with you that a new Han Solo in carbonite is very likely since the old one was too small. Perhaps a mold in which the real Han Solo minifig fits? Thank you very much for this news, KimT! That sounds fantastic! Since I'm not interested in CW I have no idea what we'll have to await there for sets - but for OT I'd bet and hope for a new Jabba's Palace and a Yavin Base or a new Cloud City. Hopefully we'll even get a better version of the Imperial Shuttle. But til we'll get rumours about the 2011 sets it takes about 3/4 year - and now we firstly want to have some pics of the 2010 sets. Klaus-Dieter
