Well, I would agree with you if it included some nice interior and not only some yellow chairs. Perhaps a table with two chairs, two tumblers and a coffee machine behind - but that's supposably only wishful thinking. Btw: Since it's now (un)officially confirmed that we'll get a new Trains theme with train station, train level crossing, cargo train and passenger train: Do you really think that we'll get any more bigger City sets in summer (apart from the exclusive fan's choice set of which we regrettably haven't heard anything until now - not even a hint which of the three options made it)?! That's again an amazing MOC, TheBrickster! I really it! It looks very realistic and includes everything a soldiers outpost has to include: -watchtower -priso -horses, minifigs and accessory -and even a horse shed The architecture is great, too. Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter

Simply poster! Reminds we very much of the Western posters of 1996. Klaus-Dieter

These are some nice minifigs, TheBrickster. The minifigs are really nice. But: 1. the head with the the glasses on of the minifig on the horse looks too modern 2. a whole baseplate for only three minifigs, a horse, a fence and a part of a tree seems to me a bit disproportionate Sorry for these not very consitutive words - but imo you could really have done it better. Thank you very much for these pics, KimT! Slave One I must say that I'm really disappointed. Of course the Slave One itself is designed very well and so do the minifigs (esp. Bossk and Boba's helmet). But only three minifigs in such a big set?! And for what do we need a strange new gun for Boba?! Wampa Attack  Is that again Zev in the Snowspeeder? I do not hope so since I want another new pilot. Otherwise I'm really surprised that we'll get a really big cave (meant seriously). I even like it that TLG designed the Snowspeeder very similar to the one in the Hoth Rebel Base set so they will fit together. The Wampa looks at the moment a bit strange - but I bet that the final version will be quite ok. The animal skeletton and the regular skelleton are a nice addition. Btw: According to the rumoured exclusive AT-AT: I bet that xwingyoda got a wrong hint: S@H still sells the version from 2007 and since it's at the moment not available it supposably will be deliverd in June - too near to the release of a new version. Apart from that the new OT sets for June offer only very few (new) minifigs - so a new Cloud City with many minifigs is imo more supposably than an AT-AT with again only very few minifigs. What do you think? Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for these pics of the sets, whung! Airline Promo Imo last year's promo was already poor - but this is simply even worse. So I'm not angry about that it'll be a promo which I surely wouldn't be aible to get anyway. Traveler Like already mentioned: small, simple but nice set with some useful accessory you can surely use for the upcoming train sets, too. Piglets Enclosure Really a beautiful set! I really like to see that TLG gave the female minifig a new torso! Helicopter And Limousine  Regrettably the helicopter is that huge. But otherwise (at least the exterior of) these vehicles - esp. the linousine - look awesome! I really like that limo - imo using black bricks as windows was the right choice. I'm really surprised that TLG did desgin it 4-wide. I only wonder how minifigs can sit inside the limousine in the areas where there are no doors since the side walls seem to be massive. Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for this information, AllanSmith! I'm no moderator but I think we should get back to the topic, guys! There are several forums which do discuss 9V-RC-PF - but this topic is for the news on the upcoming train sets, isn't it?! Although I regrettably haven't seen any pictures of the new train sets I'm very optimistic that they'll be much better than the last wave - simply because the most of the City sets since last year have been amazing. I could well imagine the new passenger train being similar to the classic Metroliner (hopefully with train doors, too) and the train station similar to either the classic train station from 1990 or to the Grand Central Station. That we'll get a train level crossing is imo a clear sign that TLG has the aim to expand the Trains theme more than they did with the last one. Do you think that the level crossing will be a hard to find set (like the last level crossing)? As for the demand on single train cars: I could well imagine TLG changing their mind if next year's train sets sell very well. Since then they would surely release some more train sets in 2011 - and since these surely will not be again complete trains but some train structures we would get single (cargo) train cars anyway. Let's hope! Klaus-Dieter

This is an absolutely amazing MOC, TheBrickster! I really it! It looks absolutely realistic! Like you pueblo this one could very well be an official set, too! Great architecture and good use of nice accessory! Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter

I hope these haven't been posted before: From another toy shop on the internet: prices for the other City sets: 3178 - Lego Seaplane 8.57 € => 10 Euros 3179 - Lego Rapair Truck 11.17 € => 12 Euros 3180 - Lego Tank Truck 17.73 € => 20 Euros 3181 - Lego Passanger Plane 31.52 € => 35 Euros 3182 - Lego Airport 87.30 € => 90 Euros 7684 - Lego Pig Farm & Tractor 27.01 € => 30 Euros Imo these prices are quite ok. Btw: I can't await to hear what we'll get in summer for sets. It's really a pity that TLG doesn't let us know - not even some hints! Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for this information, legomilk! I wonder whether the sheep game will include brick-built sheep or molded sheep (since molded sheep could be very well used for the Farm theme, too). Klaus-Dieter

This is an absolutely amazing MOC, TheBrickster! I really it! It looks absolutely realistic and very detailed! This one could very well be an official set! The most I like the watering place and the big cactus. The architecture and the colors of the pueblo are of course great, too. Very, very well done! Like Ras 74 already asked: Is there an interior to this your MOC, too? Btw: What about a very small Mexican set: small baseplate with cactus, bandito and horse? Klaus-Dieter
-
Thank you very much for this price information, legomilk! 27 Euros for the Landspeeder is really a lot of money (e. g. when you compare to what you get in the Echo Base set). 15 Euros for every BP is not cheap - but on the other hand they are really amazing and include even some new minifigs! Klaus-Dieter

That's a totally awesome MOC, bluebrick! I really it! The interior as well as the exterior look absolutely realistic and are full of stunning details! Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter

This is again a totally awesome MOC, TheBrickster! I really it! It looks very realistic and includes a lot of nice details! The only thing I miss is one or two horses, a cactus and a bandito. The most I like the Spanish styled window and the area where the minifig with the cup sits. I'm looking forward to see pics of the interior! Very, very well done! Btw: Are Rosa, her boyfriend and the young Mexican minifigs from the Orient Expedition theme? Klaus-Dieter

This is a totally awesome Western MOC, TheBrickster! I really it! The engine and the carriages look very realistic! It's a great idea to have not only a Western passenger train but even a train for the army! Very, very well done! Btw: The "official" poster of your custom CS sets looks simply ! Western Train Scenery - With Instructions
Klaus-Dieter replied to gambort's topic in LEGO Train Tech
These are totally awesome MOCs, gambort! I really them! They look very realistic and full of details! The most I like the awesome brick-built cactus and the lovely platform. Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter -
Thank you very much for this price information, The Cobra! He wrote so in the topic for new 2010 sets and themes. There he wrote that in 2010 there will be new City themes and City Trains. So: -January: "new" theme: Fire -April: "new" theme: Airport -summer: new Trains theme Of course the Airport and the Fire theme are really not new themes but only new sets - but for TLG new themes in the way that there is a new line of sets. Besides there haven't been more than three complete subthemes a year - so we regrettably can't expect more regular sets apart from the sets for the first half of 2010 (we already know) and the summer sets. In the topic "Which will be next for trains?" someone stated already some time ago that there may be two new trains (supposably a cargo train set and a passenger train set), a train level crossing and a train station - which does imo sound very supposably. But for not regular sold bigger civilian sets (such as e. g. bank or post office) it does look very bad. Klaus-Dieter
-
I agree with you in the matter that it surely is useful for MOCing. But seeing it "only" as a small City set you could add to the other Farm sets it's imo really useless. Alternatively it would have to include more interesting stuff - e. g. a closed feeder (like seen in the Piglets Enclosure And Tractor set) and a new farmer torso - or at least a boy or girl in order to bring some diversion. Btw: I'm really surprised that we have (nearly) not heard anything about the summer sets. It seems very late this year that we'll get any informatuon on them (last year we already knew in late summer the set names). Klaus-Dieter

The future of farm (contains spoilers for 2010 sets
Klaus-Dieter replied to lifeinplastic's topic in LEGO Town
Three new ideas either for Impulse sets or for contents of bigger sets: Dog's Hut a dog's hut including a dish and two sausages minifig: boy Dove's House a decorated doves' house on a tall pile including some round tan thin 1x1 bricks minifig: girl Forester including a deer, a gun, a rucksack, a spyglass and a tree minifig: forester Poacher including a fox, a gun, a rucksack, a spyglass and a bush minifig: poacher Klaus-Dieter -
This is an awesome City MOC(set), lightningtiger! I really it! It looks absolutely realistic and is built in a very lovely classic style although combined with modern aspects and elements! Imo it looks even much better than the current official Garage and Gas Station. The only thing I miss is a classic small 4-wide car and a second minifig - then it would make a perfect official set! The most I like that you built it closed but with open backwalls and a roller gate. Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter
-
Thank you very much for the links to the pics, kris kelvin and BlueBard! Farmer Impulse Set Of course a great possibility if you plan to open a big pig farm. But for what do we need hundreds of dogs?! And what shall that tan "thing" be?! And what does the pistol on the bottom of the blue bucket?! I'm really getting tired of TLG always using that farmer torso - can't TLG design a new different one (at least in a different color - e. g. blue-yellow would be nice)?! Traveler Impulse Set We will get a very well designed airport roller and some very nice accessory - esp. the shoulder bag and the camera are great! I wonder whether we'll get a different torso for the minifig in the final version or not. Klaus-Dieter

LEGO Collectible Minfigures Series 1 Poll
Klaus-Dieter replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That's a great and very interesting topic, WhiteFang! This was really hard to vote since the most of these minifigs are great! As an old Western fan I of course voted for the Cowboy but not only because it is a Western theme related minifigure but even because imo it's one of the best designed and realisitic looking minifigs. My second vote would be the cheer leader and my third vote the nurse. Klaus-Dieter -

ARTICLE: Five Things I Did While Waiting for the Winter Toy Shop
Klaus-Dieter replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Town
That's a great article, TheBrickster! So you luckily received your Winter Toy Shop yesterday - I know it's sometimes really disappointing when you're waiting for something but it doesn't arrive. Have fun with building it up (I built mine up last weekend and I must say that it is really )! And I totally agree with you: Although without Lego (or let's say without many Lego sets and bricks ) life would be much poorer the most valuable is to have a nice family and nice friends!
