  1. B-V-7A Hello City fans! I designed a new Impulse set about two months ago. Since there is now no contest for building City sets I decided to show it to you. I presonally think that it is a very nice little set and I really would like to see TLG turning it into an official City Impulse set since we really need City shops with all the stuff that belongs to it. But see yourselves: Woman At Shopping The set includes a woman with a shopping cart, a table with an electric scale, two apples, a croissant and a milk bag. The set contains 27 pieces and a minifig: Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter
  2. Here is - like proposed - my second part: Miners These are four miners; the one with the top hat is their - perhaps not very branchless - boss. Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter
  3. One question, TheBrickster: You wrote about a ticket which alows you to take the ghost train. So I'm very surprised how the interior og your great Abandonned Station looks like - or hasn't it got an interior? Klaus-Dieter
  4. Since the quality of this picture isn't very good I can't wait to see some pics!
  5. Even amount of SW sets ON! -Tarfful I totally agree with you, Tarfful and Vaders_son! When TLG releases 17 sets there would be no big difference to release one additional set or not . And I personally hope that we'll get another OT set in late summer/fall since there have been only two sets this year until now which we know (Rebel Scout Speeder and DS - the HRB is only a re-release and no new set!). Klaus-Dieter
  6. Thanks, Oky Wan Kenobi! Yes, a Tantive 4 would be absolutely ! I would in contrast prefer it to be an episode 4 set with Lieutenant Prello Scrambas , a Rebel Captain, Princess Leia , C-3PO, R2-D2, two Stormies, Vader and a black Imperial Officer . But of course it should come with a nice and very well designed interior (and not like in the RC which didn't include any real interior )! Like already mentioned I bet that we'll get a Tantive 4 next year since there has to be a big OT vehicle for the 10th anniversary of Lego SW - and which hasn't be released until now and is one of the most popular and important vehicles - the Tantive 4 ! Klaus-Dieter
  7. I've got a new idea for the Ghost Town subtheme :skull: : Attack On The Rangers' Camp (19,99-24,99 Euro) ----- Two rangers exploring the Wild West set up their camp on the foot of a rocky landscape. They inflame a camping fire and have diner. The sun went under in the meantime and they make ready for getting to bed. But suddenly they hear a fearsome noice: Two horrible figures approach the rangers' camp. It's a ghost with a sable in the hand and a ghost/skeletton cowboy with his gun. Are the rangers able to fight and beat these creatures? ----- a tent with a camping fire and a rock with a secret place to hide the gold and some shrubs as landscape including a barrel, a box, a banana, an apple, a leg of mutton, two tumblers, two cups, a snake, four gold pieces, a shovel, an axe, a pickaxe, a hammer, an oil lamp, some weaponry and a brown and a black horse minifigs: a young ranger, an old ranger, a ghost (which glows in the dark) and a ghost/skeletton cowboy What do you think? Some new ideas, too? Klaus-Dieter
  8. So many new minifigs ! Although I'm not interested in the CW sets I really Commander Cody and Captain Rex because they are very well designed . The other minifigs look a bit too cartoonish for me . BTW: I hope that we'll see many new figs of the OT in the next time, too - maily in the 10188 DS and in the 2009 SW sets! Klaus-Dieter
  9. That's absolutely amazing, andy16806 ! That's actually that what I would like TLG to give us (read that) - an oiltanker with an oil refinery! (Of course not in that big and detailed size because only few people would be able to pay that but ...) It's  ! Very, very well done!
  10. Thank you all very much for your nice comments! I totally agree with you, Asuka! If I would have had the possibility to get a woman's torso without belt I surely would have bought it and designed that minifig in that style. You're right, Athos! But I didn't know which torso to use instead since on the one hand it shouldn't look too imaginative and on the other hand shouldn't look like a City minifig. So I chosed that one because it's neutral and I added the red scarf in order to that it doesn't look too vacant. Thanks, TheBrickster! I thought that it would be nice to have a whole family because that would be something different and something new - and it would help us to anticipate excess of age of our society . Klaus-Dieter
  11. Thank you very much for that information, metalandi! The price for the "Patrol Boat & TOwer" and the quad is higher than I awaited . The price for the "Rescue Helicopter" and the "4ward with jetski" is lower than I awaited . All in all: I think the prices are quite Ok and the sets themselves are ! And I like it to see that the winch is power functioning, isn't it ?! What I'll buy: 1. surely 2x or 3x the kayak 2. surely 1x or 2x the quad 3. surely 1x the 4ward with jetski 4. would like to buy the patriol boat with tower because it's the best set of all these CG sets - the only thing with disturbs me is that the ship doesn't include a backwall and nearly no interior 5. prehaps the rescue helicopter because it looks very nice and that life raft is great - the only thing with disturbs me here, too, is that the helicopter includes no interior - and it is really big 4 and 5 will depend on how much money I'll get in the next months, how much the 10188 DS will cost (because the DS is an absolutely must which is higher than any other set - I at least think and hope that it'll be that awesome ), if there are any other exclusive OT SW sets this year and which City and OT SW sets there'll be in 2009. Harbor sets on! Klaus-Dieter
  12. Steff wrote some pages ago that the DS will be available the 15th of June. But I don't know if this is only information for Germany or generally. And for me Steff seems to be a reliable source . To the DS: I, too, think that it'll be a ball - but only the half of the ball so that you can look and play inside. Or it miht be designed like the last minifig scaled Millenium Falcon with a lot of parts you can open to look and play inside. The underpart is probably flattened (like with the minifig scaled ISD) so that the half ball can stand safe. But I don't think that there'll be a hangar included. Ok, perhaps a vey little one (like in the minifig scaled ISD) but surely not one which is as big as you can put Darth Vader's TIE Advanced in it. I think that there'll be three floors: First floor: trash compactor with Han and Luke in Stormtrooper outfit Second floor: floor with Vader vs. Obi and two Stormtroopers and Leia's prison cell with Leia and that little black "torture" droid (don't know ist name) Third floor: Tarkin's contorl room with "opened" window to look outside, Tarkin, an Imperial Officer And hopefully we'll get some DS Troopers and some new Imperial Officers like e. g. lieutenants/captains/... ! To the dark and annoying year of Lego Star Wars: I, too, am very disappointed that there are nearly no sets of the OT released this year ! Supposably that's because there are these new CW movies and series this year so that there are many sets of these. Do you remember that it was similar in 2005, too, when there was only released the TIE Fighter with Vader with a light-up laser sword, but besides no other OT sets since there was the new episode 2? Consequently there is hope that we OT fans will see gain more OT sets in the next years - especially next year when there is 10 years Lego SW because then there have to be many OT sets ! But if TLG decides to only release two OT sets or some like that every year - like they do this year - then LEgo SW would become ! BTW: Nobody answered me yet: Do you think that there is hope that we're getting an OT set in size and price very similar to last year's Hoth Rebel Base in summer/fall? (There was this rumor of a Tatooine set with a bantha and tusken raiders, do you remember?!) Klaus-Dieter
  13. I must disagree with you, Oky Wan Kenobi! A MCC as an UCs version would be only nice for collectors but otherwise it would be because it wouldn't include any new minifigs, no playability and no nice interior and it would be very, very expensive! (I'm really no friend of UCS sets how you perhaps noticed !) The description is - in my opinion ambiguous since it could mean that the whole set consists of only a hangar with an A-Wing and a contorl room or it could mean that the Mon Calamari Cruiser includes all these things. I mean: There was/is much place in the minifig scaled ISD. If the MCC would be similar to that then there would be emough place to include a little hangar with an A-Wing downstairs and a little control room upstairs . Of course then the set would either be more than 150 Euros or it would contain less minifigures since they are the most costly parts of the sets how I understodd it. But what other minifigs than Ackbar, Mon Mothma, an A-Wing pilot and a Rebel Worker do we have to expect ?! If TLG doesn't release it as a whole ship I hope they will in the following years becuase it is a must! In any case if TLG doesn't give us the MCC as a whole ship next year I bet that we'll get the RBR as a to the minifig scaled ISD similar ship since 10 years LEGO SW has to be celebrated with a big OT vehicle ! Klaus-Dieter
  14. That's , Darth_Legois_619! It is a so nice designed bumblebee cafe truck with a totally amazing design and an awesome interior ! Very, very well done - if only TLG released something like that! Klaus-Dieter
  15. That's a very nice Castle MOC, Vladin! I really like the nice atmosphere with the wooden roof, the garden, the fountain etc. And the interior seems to look very nice, too. If worked over it a bit that could very well be an official Lego Castle set as a house of a wizzard, a witch, some dwarves or a hermit ! Klaus-Dieter
  16. I totally agree! All welcome to EB and it's very nice to see many new WW fans! Klaus-Dieter
  17. That's a digital MOC, bLEGOnder! I really like the nice front and the interior with so many nice details like e. g. the piano and the bar. The only thing I would have prefered would have been not to include a backwall - because then it would have the face of a very well designed Lego WW set ! BTW: Welcome to EB, bLEGOnder! Klaus-Dieter
  18. Since there is a lot of confusion about whether the Mon Calamari Cruiser would be a whole ship (like the minifig scaled ISD) with a hangar with an A-Wing and a control room or only some sort of "base" (like the Hoth Rebel Base) with a hangar with an A-Wing and a control room in "A poll to decide a star wars set for february 2009, It will be a Toysrus Exclusive" I decided to open a poll for which you'd prefer. Thanks for yours votes and comments are welcome of course, too! Klaus-Dieter EDIT: I voted for the MCC as a whole ship because that would be absolutely and because the minifig scaled ISD was awesome but needs something to fight against.
  19. You mean some re-design of the "B-Wing at Rebel Control Center" but with an A-Wing instead of a B-Wing?! Of course I'd buy it, too , since I really want and need General Ackbar and Mon Mothma (would be minifigs). But nevertheless it would be too bad about the labour which would have be done to design it ! Lego doesn't release only the cockpit of the Republic Cruiser but releases the whole vehicle, too, doesn't it ?! So why not wtih the MCC, too, since it even shall be an Exclusivce set ?! A MCC in the style of the minifig scaled ISD would be absolutely amazing - but only a hangar and a control room is like a milk bottle without ice box. And what happens to a milk bottle which stands in the sun?! It gets and you don't want to drink it ! Then I would prefer choice 2 since I would like to see a new Slave 1! I know that I'm now getting very unfriendly which is totally mistimed since TLG is asking us for our votes ... but that point makes me really angry since the MCC would be a so perfect set when be done as a whole ship ! But since there is so much confusion about whether the MCC would be a base or a ship I decided to do this. Klaus-Dieter
  20. Thank you all very much for your congratulations - that's very nice! Although my posts will be getting less in the next time (much to do for university) I do really not plan to leave EB in the next years - and after that neither - since it is a very nice community and a very nice forum from which you can get all the new information about new sets first and where you can even chat and discuss a bit with friendly and interested people! Klaus-Dieter
  21. This Ghost Town train station looks from outside, TheBrickster! I totally agree with you, Hinckley! It is very well and lovely designed - mainly with the big balcony, the black roof and the nice big clock on it . And the story which belongs to it is very well written - my blood runs cold ! I can't wait to see more pics! BTW: Will you design a Ghost Train, too, since you mentioned one in the story? - That would be awesome! Klaus-Dieter
  22. Thank you very much for that information, Navy Trooper Fenson! Any news of the 10188 DS? I think now it's really time that we get some information about it since it's only five weeks until it'll be available !
  23. Thank you very much, Mister Phes! These torsos are no customs but there will be some in later pics I'll show you . The torso of the son is the torso of the sheriff's assistant you can e. g. find in the "Fort Legoredo" set. The torso of the father is the torso you can find in some new City sets like the "Truck and Forklift" or "Town Plan". Klaus-Dieter
  24. A Mon Calamari Cruiser in Hoth style?! If so then I would be really angry ! - But I think that they meant a MCC in the style of the ISD - otherwise it would in my opinion make not much sense.
  25. Do you know if it will be shown in Germany/Europe, too?
