A poll to decide a star wars set for february 2009
Klaus-Dieter replied to darkrebellion's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That's very nice that we are allowed to choose our favored Lego SW set! I totally agree with you, Grevious! I of course voted for option 3, too: Mon Calamari Cruiser because it is - beside the ISD and the RBR the most popular, most interesting and most important bigger ship! That would be  if it would come with a little hangar, the control room, General Ackbar, Mon Mothma, some of these aliens which look like Darth Maul, some Rebels, a little transport vehicle and some Rebel Workers! Option 2 would be very coul, too, since I only own the "Old" Slave 1 from 1999 ( ) and I don't own the Cloud City. But I doubt if TLG would design the Cloud City I would like it to have: With a big plexiglass window in the room where Han and Leia wait for Lando. And by the way: Since there should be already included the Slave 1 in this set I doubt if we would see a lot of the Cloud City! In option 1 I'm not interested and surely won't buy since I only collect episode 4-6 sets. BTW: What does that mean that it'll only be available from ToysRUS.com "nationwide"? I jope that it won't be an Exclusive that then wouldn't be available in Germany because that would be very ! Klaus-Dieter -
Do you want to make holidays on a life raft in the meantime a shark swims around you? No, of course I like the CG sets, too, and I probably will buy all non-promo ones.

Of which contents should a SW BP generally consist?
Klaus-Dieter replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think the result (as far) is very obvious: 1/3 wants four troopers of only the same type and 2/3 want at least one captain/sergeant/commander/lieutenant. I'd be interested in what our ambassadors would say to this result. Klaus-Dieter -
Thank you very much for the pics of the Promo sets, whung! I really that CG motorcycle! I totally agree with you, svelte! The CG sets are . But: If only TLG wouldn't have been so unhandsome with the interior decoration of the petrol boat and the rescue helicopter ! I would have prefered to pay some more Euros but get a very nice interior .

I like the little camp with all these nice minifigs, I Scream Clone! By the way: What is a SNOT? And what is a MOD? Klaus-Dieter

It's now about six weeks until the DS will be released. So why don't we get some pics - or at least one pic?! By the way: Since the DS will be released - for a SW S@H Exclusive - unnormaly early this year, do you think that there might be a possibility that we'll get another (of course smaller and not that expensive) OT S@H Exclusive in late summer or fall?
-
They are I'd say! The only thing which I don't like that much is that the backwall of the big CG ship is open and that there is nearly no medical stuff downstairs in the ship . Otherwise it's !

That are great stickers, Joey Lock!

I don't know whether this instruction has been posted yet: Troll Warrior By the way: Is the witch in the big chess set the same as the one in the advent calendar? And does someone now know if the advent calendar will be available in "normal" toy shops, too, and what it will include? Klaus-Dieter

There are now the instructions of the City summer sets on Lego.de: 5620 5621 7736 7737 7738-1 7738-2 7739-1 7739-2 Klaus-Dieter

Since this topic includes so many pages which so many news and discussions I don't know whether this has been posted before - if yes, then please excuse me, if no then it would be good: Mini V-19 Torrent Klaus-Dieter

If TLG brings back the Wild West theme,
Klaus-Dieter replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thank you very much for your votes and comments! I voted for: -Citizens and salesmen since I already own some bandidts and sheriffs - and some citizens and a salesman would be and very nice additional stuff for more playability and more reality. -Special Indians because I would really like to have a medicin man -Farmers because a farm with a windmill and a stable would be absolutely . Of course some settlers, pioneers and rangers would be a great addition to the WW theme, too. -Ghost cowboys since I really like these minifigs TheBrickster and BrickMiner designed for their Ghost Town MOCs. -Train conductors and engineers since a train would be an absolutely must and be . Of course a stage coach would be , too - especially if it would come with a post office, but I think that a train is more necessary and popular. Klaus-Dieter -

Thank you very much for your votes and comments! Of course I prefer cars with doors, too, since they look much nicer, ensure more playability and look more realisitc. I don't understand why TLG stopped including doors in the cars since the most cars and vans TLG produces at the moment would have place for doors ?! Klaus-Dieter

No, that's not old news - thank you very much for that information, Steff! It's very nice that it is released so early because having to wait until October wouldn't have been nice ! Can you please tell us the price of 10188? I agree with you, ImprialScouts! I'm very that this is the re-release of the Hoth Base since I already bought one last year and don't want another. I hoped for a Tantooine or Endor set since we OT fans only get the DS and the Rebel Scout Speeder this year, but ...

Klaus-Dieter replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Star Wars
You're right. I'm very sorry, Benny, but I edited the first option one or two minutes after I had seen that it was missing - but at that time you already voted. Excuse me! Klaus-Dieter -
Thank you very much for that information, Steff! End of may?! - That's very early for a SW SH Exclusive ! But I like it when it isn't released that late in the year since we OT fans didn't get a set - excluding the Rebel Scout Speeder - this year until now. Can you please give us a hint what it is?

Hello everybody! It's time for another poll: There were many different minifig characters in the WW theme from the 90ths. The question now is which characters you would prefer to see if TLG brings back the WW theme. (There are charaters which weren't part of the "old" WW theme, too.) I'm very interested in which characters you will vote for! Feedbacks and comments are of course desired, too! Klaus-Dieter

Which would you prefer in a new Wild West theme-
Klaus-Dieter replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thank you very much for your votes and comments! I voted for: Confederate States soldiers. The reason is that I already own some US soldiers and consequently some CS soldiers would be more interesting and would open the possibility to have two armies to fight against each other. Thank you for that information, TheBrickster! Of course they are grey - I think it was a bit late yesterday when I opened this poll . Yes - but in my opinion that would be the best thing which could happen to us - having two very similar designed armies ! Where is there the differnece between killing Indians and enslave Africans?! It's both something very terrible and shocking! But I of course understand your point of view. But think about Playmobil. If I remember right Playmobil released US soldiers as well as CS soldiers. So why shouldn't Lego, too?! And if TLG would release a CS army they would not have to design very new and different sets - the "old" ones of the US soldiers could be used. They would only have to give the minifigs grey instead of blue outfits and everywhere where there was the color blue on flags and plates it has to be replaced by grey. Klaus-Dieter -
Hello everybody! Here is my third poll: I thought it would be interesting to know which cars we City fans on EB prefer - cars with or without doors. So I decided to open this poll. (I hope that there hasn't been a poll for this topic before - I only have in mind that there was one about how wide the cars should be - but let me know if I am wrong.) Thank you for your votes and I'm very interested in which you'll vote for! Comments and feedbacks according to how useful you think this poll is and how you like(d) it are welcome! Klaus-Dieter

Of which contents should a SW BP generally consist?
Klaus-Dieter replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thank you very much for your votes and comments! Amen! I voted for one captain/sergeant/lieutenant/..., three troopers and some additional stuff, too. There are two reasons for my vote: Firstly I think it was, is and will be an exception that TLG includes more than one captain/sergeant/lieutenant/... in a BP. Secondly I don't like BPs which include only four troopers of the same kind. That gets boring and you can't build a "real" army - like it's TLG's aim - because there have to be troopers who lead the other "common" troopers. Otherwise there will be only chaos ! That was the same thing with the Rebel Scout Speeder: A great vehicle and great minifigs but no captain/sergeant/lieutenant/... . So: One captain/sergeant/lieutenant/..., three troopers and some additional stuff for me in a SW BP! By the way: I'd like to have BPs which include as additional stuff only a little vehicle (like e. g. a speeder bike) or only a cannon in order that the BP isn't that cotly than the new ones which are in my opinion with 13,99 € much to expensive since I mainly want minifigs in a BP - and not vehicles. Klaus-Dieter -
Which would you prefer in a new Wild West theme-
Klaus-Dieter replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thank you very much for your votes and comments as far! Only a short comment: You all know that TLG takes liberties with historical correctness. Do only look at the new "Castle" theme - the most elements it includes are historical totally wrong. So why shouldn't TLG release some US soldiers and/or CS soldiers in a new WW theme?!
