Here is my fifth part of my "Wild West minifig show": Indians These are three typical Indians: An Indian on horseback, a medicine man and a common Indian. Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter

That's a helicopter, Chuck! I really like these doors you can open, the size is very ok and you put in a very nice minifigs (only the pilot is missing ) - if only TLG would release something like that! I expected a MAERSK blue, too - but perhaps white is even better . Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter

I voted for the Hamburger Stand. I really it (although I regrettably don't own it ) because it is very nicely designed and has two great minifigures. But of course my second choice would have been Pizza To Go since this set is with the delivery van, the pizzas and it's great Mediterranean look . My third vote would have been the Mc Donald's Restaurant. Personally I hate that pulpy Mc Donald's food - but that Lego set is (regrettably I don't own it, too ). The Snack Bar is ok but a bit simple in style and interior - and the Truck Stop is - I don't bemoan that I don't own these two sets. Thank you, WhiteFang! I totally agree with you, Legotrainfan! Despite from that they sometimes were a bit too small and too simple I like the Lego City sets of the 80ths very much and hope that TLG will bring them back (of course in another style, with different additional stuff, different minifigs, ...). You're right, Hairy Ruben! There were some years in the past of Lego City when there weren't only men but women lived, too. But there must have been some sort of epidemic that there are no female minifigs any longer in the regular City sets. I totally agree with you, imperialshadows! But there is another possibility or an additional possibility ( ) - how I wrote in the SW subforum according to the many awesome new SW sets: Klaus-Dieter

Hello everybody! I thought it would be interesting to know which takeaway is the prefered one among us EBers. So here is the poll: 675 Snack Bar 6683 Hamburger Stand 6350/10036 Pizza To Go 3438 Mc Donald's Restaurant 6329 Truck Stop Please vote! Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very, very much for these pics, Courleciel! These sets (especially the Homing Spider Droid with the great minifigs ) look amazing! It's really a shame that I haven't got enough money to buy and not enough place to store all these CW sets since they are all awesome - mainly all these  new minifigures! I think that I'll have to marry a very rich woman which owns a big house after I'll be ready with my traineeship! Hopefully we're getting as brilliant sets as these in the future for OT, too ! Klaus-Dieter

B-RV-1C Here's my first City MOC I designed with LDD - it is two houses and they include a nice interior with open backwalls ( ): Side Street Somewhere in the center of Lego City there is the famous Side Street. Go shopping in the Lego Store, conclude a contract in the assurance's office, have a drink or something to eat in the classic medieval restaurant - or stay overnight in the guest bed. The set contains waiter, saleslady, streetcleaner, a boy and a lot of nice additional stuff. Another view from outside: The interior: Comments are very welcome! Klaus-Dieter

I hope that we'll get some DS Troopers, too, Tarfful - that would be amazing ! But again some Imperial Royal Guards would be unspectacular, totally unneceesary and wouldn't fit . We already had them in the minifig-scaled ISD - and there they didn't fit, too ! It would be much better if TLG gives us some Imperial Gunners and some new and different Imperial Officers (such like captains, sergeants, lieutenants, ...) ! Imperial Royal Guards should be, together with Emperor Palpatine, an Imperial Pilot and an Imperial Captain and a gangway which opens in the front, be included in a new Imperial Shuttle which we'll hopefully get next year (since it's 10 years SW - and the IS is one of the most popular ships and hasn't been released for a long time now) . Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for your nice comments! You're right, WhiteFang! I wanted to write and name theme as rich people - but I forgot that. The community official should really look like that it doesn't do much for the community - I chose his character as being someone very selfish (and perhaps sometimes even working together with the bandits' boss) in order to get a lot of money. Be patient, sdpirate! There will be seven more parts of my "Wild West minifig show"! Thank you, Asuka! That are great proposals for characters for this minifigs! Klaus-Dieter

That water tower looks interesting and the story sounds good, too, TheBrickster! The tower itself looks very nice. The only thing I'm not very sure about is whether there is a roof on the water box ?! But the colors are very well mixed: Brown with black and the water box in white. Very well done! Klaus-Dieter

That's a very interesting poll, Hobbes! I voted for 6597 Century Skyway/10159 LEGO City Airport because it's simply  . I really like this big freight helicopter with the forklift, the plane with the "suitcases car " and the gangway, the garage with rolling gates and the little tank truck and the great interior! The two older airports were nice, too , but the interiors were very little and untenanted . Klaus-Dieter

Here is my fourth part of my "Wild West minifig show": Town People These are five typical Wild West town people: An old man, a rich woman with her husband, another rich man and the community official. By the way: The torsos of the rich husband and the community official are printed stickers which were designed by two of our EB members (first one was Apache and the second name I regrettably forgot). Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter

That's a very, very nice car, medib! I really like these little four stuck wide cars with doors! Very well done! Klaus-Dieter

That's a very interesting poll, TheBrickster! For building up a nice City I definitely prefer official sets because they are mostly designed much more precisely and with much more details and nice addtional stuff - doing that yourself is very difficult because you often don't have the possibilities. Of course I like MOCing, too - City houses is my favourite MOCing theme because you don't need many special bricks for it! But putting both - official sets and MOCs - together in one City is for me absolutely :skull: ! Klaus-Dieter

To 1.: But you could use it! To 2.: What do you mean with question number 2 ? To 3.: I would advise to buy: -6389 Fire Contorl Center because it's an absolutely amazing set - much better than all fire stations which were before and which came after it! -6398 Central Precinct HQ because it's an absolutely amazing set - much better than all police stations which were before and which came after it! -6416 Poolside Paradise because it's an awesome villa which adds to your City more civil stuff - and not only always fire & police! ... I totally agree! I don't want to make surreptitious advertising but Town Plan is absolutely  and an absolutely must-have for all real Lego (City) fans and a perfect set to start with your new City. With Town Plan you can start building a whole new City - and you've got the "heart" of the City there, too, the town hall. Plus having a nice fountain and a cinema is very nice in the center of your City, isn't it?! And a gas station is necessary, too, and then you need not buy the extra gas station of the last year - which is never as awesome as this one in the Town Plan set . Then I'd spend some money on buying older City sets from Ebay. And I'd buy some street plates because they make your City looking much better and professional. And I'd save some money for next year (will be getting very expensive) when we'll get new trains and probably a new hospital and a new post office, too - so I wouldn't buy sets like these now. I hope I could help. Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for that information, 5150 Lego!

That are very nice cars, Ralph S! I mainly like the bus ( ) and the delivery van (with doors would have been nicer but nevertheless). Very well done! Klaus-Dieter
-
That's very nice, Joey Lock! I like the gang - very good characters you created there! And the car looks nice, too. Klaus-Dieter

That's a very interesting poll, TheBrickster! It's very good that WhiteFang dug it out - otherwise I wouldn't have noticed it and that would have been ! I perfer the Emperor's Stronghold because it's simply  with it's perfect design, the nice minifigs and the great horse! I personally own two of these sets: -Flying Ninja Fortress -Robber's Retreat But I really hope that I'll be aible to buy the other amazing forts in the next years via Ebay - or perhaps from Lego? - too! Ninja was an amazing theme! I really would like - after the comeback of Western which I like even more than Ninja - a comeback of the Ninja theme. On the other hand I think that it surely wouldn't become as good as the old theme because it surely would include this profuse fantasy aspect (like in the new "Castle" theme) and much too much action "things" like catapults etc. and which means that TLG avert its eyes from the great architecture, nice interior and nice minifigs - and that would be ! Klaus-Dieter
-
Excuse me, TheBrickster! I wanted to write yellow mailboxes - that's indeed something totally different ! Klaus-Dieter
-
That's a very interesting poll, WhiteFang! It's a bit difficult to choose for me because I like all these Ninja. But my favourite one is the red Ninja. Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for your nice comment, TheBrickster! No, momentary I don't plan to actually make them into "real" WW MOCs. I hope that TLG will release some Lego.Factory WW sets soon - and then my LDD MOCs aren't necessary any longer since they should mainly only inspire. But if we don't get some WW sets - what I really, really don't hope - I perhaps would order the bricks and build these two sets. Perhaps I'll build a "Haunted Mine" (I think you already invented this name, didn't you?! ) via LDD - but let's see. At all events I wanted to design a stage coach - but it is much too difficult . Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for the nice review, 5150 Lego! The helicopter is - apart from that it is very, very big and that it does not include any interior - a very nice set . The most I like the life raft becuase it is simply . Nevertheless I don't know if I buy it (probably not) - but it's very nice! Two questions : -Where can you fasten the stretcher on to haul it up and down? -Is the motor working with batteries? Klaus-Dieter

You go to Lego.com. There you have a link with Customers Service. And in it there is a link with Building Instructions. In it you can find all building instrustions of the last years - and the newest, too. Klaus-Dieter

Of course Wild West, Star Wars and the older and nicer Castle theme are amazing and very important for me, too, but my most favourite one is: City and Trains Klaus-Dieter
