  1. That's a fantastic architecture, Calvin! I really like it! *y*
  2. Congratulations to the three winners, to all participants, to Sinner and imperialshadows for there great organisation and to copmike for the prizes! (By the way: What were/are the prizes?)
  3. Thank you very much for your comment, zouave! At this MOC I really tried - like you already mentioned - to keep the official Lego look.
  4. Hello everybody! I want to present you my Lego City. The pics are up to date - I made them some hours ago. For time reasons I am only aible to present you a short overview for the first time - but more pics with a little "guiding tour" and an explanation will follow in the next days. Here it is: Comments are welcome! *sweet* ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ By the way: Here is my last MOC Fort Legoredo Outpost.
  5. Firstly I want to thank the ones who voted for my nice Medieval Market Stand. Thank you very much! *sweet* Secondly I want to thank Sinner and imperialshadows who created and organised this contest. It was a great contest and I had a lot of fun designing my set. Thank you very much! *sweet* Thirdly I want to thank all of you who participated in this contest. The most of you designed great Impulse sets - sometimes even a bit too many great ones :-D becuase the decision was very hard. *y* I voted for: City and Space: alex 54 because I really would like TLG releasing a post officer with a mail box and a bicycle. I'd immediately buy this set because it's *wub* . But I must say that it was a very hard decision because - mainly in the City theme - there were so many brilliant desgins. My second vote would have been KhoRne, RupeeClock and ricecracker, my third vote Landlubber, Lt. Col. Thok and xenologer. History, Adventure and Pirates: ... no, I won't tell you - it's a shame :-D My second vote would have been Quarryman and Piranha, my third vote Stealth Hunter, SupremeCommanderGrievous, Tiny Pies RUs and whitefang_sg. Licensed: Batbrick becuase it is so *wub* designed with the grandfather clock and everything. I'd immediately buy it (although I don't collect Batman sests). My second vote would have been - since I'm a real SW fan - imperialshadows, mutley 777 and SupremeCommanderGrievous, my third vote ricecracker, Stealth Hunter, Sir Nadroj, Graynar and Lego Lyons. Thank you very much! *sweet*
  6. That are very good ideas of you! I must disagree: I didn't like the World City one (and didn't buy it, too) beauce the minifig was only a normal police officer and no security officer and because of the opening function of the truck which really was/is :-X . Otherwise the car itself was very nice designed.
  7. Since the topic If you had the possibility to choose four new SW minifig characters seems to be a great success I thought it would be interesting to know which minifigs we City fans would like to see, too. So please tell us which your four favourite City minifig character would be! I voted for: Security Transport Car Driver (in addtion to a new bank)
  8. That are two very nice WW MOCs, TinyPiesRUs! I mainly like the gold washers with the little river landscape. Very nice! *y*
  9. Thank you very much for that information, Squeaker! This is really a very nice Impulse set - mainly because of including the first female minifig in an Impulse set *y* ! I only hope that it'll be available in Germany, too, but since it isn't in a "normal" Impulse set box I fear that it won't be available in Germany which would be very *sing* ! (In Germany the AFOL community is regrettably by far not as big as e. g. in the US - the reason for that we (to the best of my knowledge) don't be able to buy e. g. Brickmaster sets and all that nice stuff :-( .)
  10. I totally agree with you, Piranha! I'm, too, are waiting since years for this set - and really don't understand why TLG doesn't release it since there are so many of us who would like to buy it >:-( ! As for me one tauntaun would be OK, too, plus perhaps a tauntaun skeletton which is been eaten by the wampa :-D .
  11. Since many of you commented on my question If you had the possibility to choose a new SW creature, to be released by Lego, for which one would you vote? I thought it would be interesting to know which new minifig characters you'd like to see Lego releasing. Since the list should not go to open end I thought that everyone should only post his/her favourite four ones. So please tell us which your four favourite SW minifig characters would be! I know that it is very difficult to choose your four favourite ones but here are mine: Imperial Navy Trooper (=Death Star Trooper) new high-ranked Imperial Officer (at best with black suit but dark grey or light grey would be OK, too) General Ackbar Hoth Luke
  12. I need the help of a Lego collector who collected Lego sets for several years: I found a nice SW collection of old sets on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.de/Lego-Star-Wars-OT-Kolle...1QQcmdZViewItem These are very nice sets and the description says that they are 100% complete and without a spot, too. I'm not interested in the snowspeeder since I already bought the brilliant Hoth Base last year. And the Imperial AT-ST doesn't ineterest me, too. But the other sets are very interesting. So: How much money do you think I can/should/must/shall pay for them? Advises are welcome! *sweet*
  13. Hello everybody! Since I joined BS yesterday I thought it would be time to show you my second WW MOC: Wild West Fort Legoredo Outpost Fort Legoredo Outpost is a little outpost in the near of the canyon where the governor is attacked by Santa Legorana's gang (Wild West Hold-Up On The Governor). It is a place for the soldiers to stop for a little pause, have a drink, something to eat, give the horses some water and talk with the commander of the outpost. But watch out! A bandit hid in a big water barrel and wants now to attack the soldiers ... You can find my complete gallery "Outpost" on http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=308527. I hope you liked it and I wish you a nice Easter!
  14. C'est un excellent film, Tanotrooper! *y* Très, très triste mais créé avec beaucoup de doigté. Très joli! ;-) Excellent work that you've done with that movie, Tanotrooper!
  15. Thank you very much for your advice, Mr Tiber and jamded! I did how you advised and now it works. Thank you again very much! *sweet* By the way: Since my question is now answered and everything works again well - can anyone please close this topic? ;-)
  16. I sadly posted my Impulse set in the wrong topic - so I hope it'll be allowed to participate in the contest although the time is over. :'-) Regrettably I did not manage to join BS until now - so I'm only able to show you one of my Impulse sets I wanted to design and present you :'-( . Here is my Castle Impulse set: Medieval Market Stand It includes a farmer, a market stand, some vegetables, a shovel and a box - the perfect addition for the/a Castle theme! The set contains 26 parts and one minifig: The head of the farmer is printed on both sides so that it can be turned in order to use the farmer as male or as female minifigs - don't you think that'll be a handy and nice idea?! ;-) I hope you like it since it is my first self-designed Impulse set. *sweet*
  17. Thank you for that advice and please excuse me, I missed that! *sweet* I'll move it to the right topic in some seconds.
  18. EDIT: I moved my Impulse set to the right topic. Thanks! *sweet*
  19. Thank your for that information, Asuka! How you can see I managed to join BS and create an account (with the help of little my brother) and so here are some more pics - enjoy! *sweet* The mechanism of the rock which falls down: You can find my complete gallery "Hold-up" on http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=308523.
  20. That are again very nice ideas! We already discussed them - but I know that since this topic luckily is so big you can't find things very well. Mainly the bank with armoured transport would be an absolutely must and I really really hope that TLG will release one inthe very near future |-/ !
  21. I totally agree with you, jondesouza! More office buildings (like already discussed before) would be very welcome. But "environmental things" (please excuse me - I don't mean that deprecatingly - but I only don't find the real expressions) like solar panels would be a great idea, look very good and give the City's a more realistic outfit and a more eco-friendly image. ;-) But in one point I regrettably don't totally agree with you: On the one side it's right that I'm, too, are tired of the police subtheme because one big police station and some nice vehicles are enough fo a Lego City. But on the other hand I don't agree with you because there might be so much potential for new and exciting police sets like I already mentioned before (e. g. a police tank, some police special units, ...) - but Lego does sadly don't use this potential (at least until now but I fear it won't change) >:-( :'-( !
  22. That are great ideas, Stealth Hunter! A City Rescue subtheme "THW" would include amazing sets which could also include some of the forest subtheme sets some of us posted a while ago.
  23. I have a problem: When I'm in a "normal" topic and click on the link in my signature ("my introduction on EB http: ...") then there should be the information about where I'm living, how much I've posted until know, which my hobbys are etc. But this profile doesn't open. There is only an advice to "update my bookmarks" (What's that?) and the two caskets to log in. When I then write my account user name and password into these caskets and press "Log in" the message comes that I'm loged in. But after that there is again the advice to "update my bookmarks" ... - and how often you try it it does nevertheless not work. So: What shall I do? It would be very nice if someone can help me. *sweet*
  24. Oh, thanks! *sweet* I hoped for another nice Exclusive this year ... but :'-( ! I really don't understand why Lego doesn't put the set numbers in the right order according to the time of release.
  25. I've got one question: Since the last number on the list on the first page of this topic is the 10189 Taj Mahal and we got the inforamtion (and pics, too) that there will be 10191 Star Justice and 10192 Space Skulls there is missing the number 10190. Does anyone know if 10190 is a set which is going to be released this year (which would be logic when looking at the set numbers) and if so what is it going to be?
