Nyx has taken off the shiny helmet, which really wasn't doing her hair any favours anyway, and has slipped on her bright red high heels instead. "Look, they're red! I wonder if I click the heels together I might be able to go home, but then I already am home, so probably not. And the heels are really high and pointy! I could easy disembowel someone with these, and look, if I kick really high I could take a man's eye out!" She scampers around a little, modelling her new shoes, but then the noise in her head - that whining, saccharine voice, subdues Nyx in her excitement. She walks away, thinking and listening. Eventually, she makes her thoughts known. "Cronk, I agree, we cannot stand by if we know that evil is here. We all know the risks, and we will all be appropriately cautious. I wish you and Skrall all luck, and I know Vipera will be kind enough to communicate between us. The redistribution of the Phoenix Essences is most wise Skrall, thank you." Nyx places the Phoenix Essence in her bag, and pulls out the Mead, which she drinks as she starts walking with the rest of her group. She walks next to Atramor and speaks in a low voice. "I know it makes sense for you to use this. You know ... what this means to me. Having someone who doesn't understand at all pester me about it is more irritating than helpful, but thank you for your understanding. You have shown me already that you will care for it, so it is yours to use for now." Nyx hands over her Explosive Staff to Atramor.

"Hey, what? Nooooo! I was totally going to buy something! When would I ever give up an opportunity for shopping?!" Nyx then feels the walls of her world start to wobble and wibble impossibly... almost unbelievably, she's having a flashback! "Hello Mr Hinckwell Store Clerk, I shall also buy a Remedy for the same price you gave lovely Cronk here. Specifically, 12 gold. I note that your superiors would not mourn your loss, and I'm sure you note that I just did 382 damage to an enemy (and not the advertised 191), so that'll be 12 gold then? Lovely! " The wibbles and wobbles fade again, and she's having a pair of red high heels chucked at her most unceremoniously back in the present day. "Uhm, thanks!" And she runs off to try them on in front of a mirror.

Kristel, this really is absolutely gorgeous , and you're right to be proud of the upstairs windows, they look fantastic. The whole look is detailed, yet understated, and thus very classy. The interiors look 'full' without being fussy, and altogether.. it's just beautiful. I really love the inclusion of all the little Friends details, and it show how they can be gently incorporated without turning everything to glaring pink. Really, just wonderful. I look forward to more.

That's actually a really nice thing to say. You did so much for this battle that I wish you could be revived, but knowing that there's a risk of Perma-KO coming, it really does make sense to save the Phoenix Essences. There can only be more battles to gain XP if you're alive to fight them. If it's any consolation, Nyx is pretty pissed off that Atramor's KO; it's like someone's decked her kid brother.

Nyx smiles that smile right up until Warrior A falls, only then noticing that Atramor had fallen. She stares for a few moments, open mouthed and aghast, before shaking it out and facing the enemy with renewed determination. "McColt, thank you for the encouragement; time to work on the Archers." She grips her Ruby and focuses her ire on Archer B, once more from the back row.

Glad you got it, and more importantly - glad you like it! Anyway, Nyx has always had a soft spot for Galen. Plus, thanks to CM and CMP for the shoes suggestions for Nyx!

Nyx nods her thanks to Cronk as he heals her back to full health, and not long after her eyes widen as Atramor's actions cause the enemy cleric to heal the entire party. "Wow, Atters, now that's how to heal. Shame you can't do that all the time. " Having sent a good sized fireball off at her last target, she switches her attention to the Pongcanis Warrior A, and smiles that smile as she prepares yet another Fireball from the back row. OoC I assume we're leaving the Archers for free hits and thus counterstrikes just now? If not, just redirect me to one of those, Cornelius.

Wow, almost all the gifts Nyx suggested were given! Thank you very much for the shoes, Sandy. Oh, and Happy New Year, everyone. Edit: Zepher, feel free to work Nyx's new red high heels into the quest somehow, she'll not be equipping them mid-battle and I can wait for you (and thus us all) to have a little fun!

Nyx sighs as Atramor Hexes the warrior instead of healing her, and just counts her blessings that at least he isn't using a healing staff. Wincing slightly, she steadies herself and focuses her Fire on the Cleric A from the back row, once more through her book. "it occurs to me that gentleman Hoke here has pretty high SP now, especially after his doohicky with his Ether. If needs be, he could take a free hit, couldn't he? For now it might be better to put him higher up the order than me, not that I don't have confidence in Atramor's healing ability, of course, and I'll worry about the nastier doggies when I'm feeling a little stronger." Nyx glances at Atramor and gives him a hopeful smile. OoC Thanks Zeph, Nyx likes you too!

Actually, when Nyx countered herself with the healing staff, it was eventually decided she hit herself twice, so if she 'countered' Cronk (even though he didn't attack her) then she still hit him with the staff and healed him. If I'd rolled damage or special damage, then it'd be no heal. Sorry mate. Also, did you roll for summoning Edgar when I rolled a shield earlier? Sorry for being a complicated questie. Nyx looks around at the enemies. With so many to choose from, she just picks one and aims a Fireball at it from the back row (focused through her book), noticing as she does so that it happens to be Pongcanis Cleric A. She shrugs, planning to incinerate him anyway. I figure that if Cronk and Atramor are dishing out counters then I'll leave the ones with potentially nasty specials alone, so the lads can smack 'em in the face instead.

Yup! "Uhm, well, I have my Healing Staff, but you've never really been a fan of me using that... I really should try to heal someone with it, right? We've got Cronk's lovely angel next round, haven't we? So that should protect the lucky recipient of any.... mishaps, right?" Nyx steps forward to the front row and looks at Cronk slightly bashfully. "Uhm, I'm going to hit you with my Healing Staff, Cronk, but I do so with love and respect. Please don't take it the wrong way. It might hurt a bit, but only for a second.. if it works, and uhm, I'm pretty sure your angel will stop you from catching fire." Nyx gives Cronk a hopeful grin, and brings her staff up in a large sweeping arc...

I was lucky enough to be given 41007 Heartlake Pet Salon and 41008 Heartlake City Pool the other day. Now I'm wrestling with my conscience as to whether or not I have time to turn one into a decent review, and as a result I haven't dared open them... They look good, and I'm excited about them, and I believe Ru picked them up from our local LEGO Store, so they might be seen in other LEGO stores now too.

I hope you will be healed and you will strike true, but isn't it wise to occasionally fear the worst? It is, of course, your choice, but I can't stand by and not say something."

Unfortunately this means Warrior A will have a free strike against you and your counterstrike still won't harm him, but it seems a shame to waste a full attack on him. " Nyx growls quietly at the Pongcanis as she fights back with fire, ignoring the sting in her shoulder. She shifts her gaze to his companion, Warrior B, and once more calls forth Fire from the back row.
