Yes, Nyx will definitely be signing up. There's no way she'd not want to help out Poletad and settle some old scores. She just needs to wake up from her drunken stupor.
-
Nyx nods in quiet, but genuine, thanks as Atramor returns her Staff. "A gentleman, eh? We could do with a few more like you around here." Nyx risks cheeky glances at Boomingham and Atramor, with a playful glint in her eye. "Yes, Atters and I have quested together an awful lot (and by awful, sometimes it really has been awful) and Larry here nearly made the fatal mistake of thinking me some sort of floozy, but we've fought side-by-side and grown a sort of mutual respect for one another. Extremely nice to meet you, Mr Ablesword ... or may I call you Hoke?" Out of the corner of her eye she sees furtive activity around the questboard and makes a mental note to check there later.
-
Nyx is still smiling to herself, thanks to her brand new Diamond, and humming tunelessly as she walks into the Hall. She looks around as she walks in, and stops, stock still for a few moments as she looks over at Boomingham and .... Barty! Hope once more rises as she sees him, but hope for what she didn't know. All she knew was she was glad to see him - and alive! She'd thought... Atramor is sitting nearby, and she has a request of him, so without looking around much more she walks over to their table and slumps into a spare seat, trying not to get too emotional. "Barty! You're back! I didn't think...." she trails off, remembering the bitter argument she had with Boomingham before they had both left for Strivvi "well, anyway, it's really good to see you again!" she adds, smiling warmly. Nyx watches as Scheherezade brings over three drinks to Boomingham, and thoughtfully a Flaming Gumball for herself. She smiles in thanks as the Orc lady clears the empties, who tuts to herself as the glasses clink, Nyx and turns to Atramor. "Before I forget, Atters I'd really like my Exploding Staff back please. I .... miss having it around; thanks." she adds bashfully, and knowing she wouldn't have to press Atramor further, looks over to Boomingham "So, three drinks for you? You really have missed the sauce haven't you! I'm glad you've got Barty back; I don't know how you did, and I don't want to ask as I don't want to argue, but... I think it's right." she smiles at Boomingham, more softly than she has for a while, and giggles as Barty zips and flits around him, annoying him slightly.

Nyx finds her way to the marketplace on her way back to the Hall, knowing Anwyl will melt down her Silver Mace for a fair price. She ambles over to the dwarf, and after watching him work for a while, coughs politely to attract his attention. "Hello Anwyl, I have another weapon for you, if you'll take it?" she asks, smiling. Anwyl draws breath over his teeth as he turns the Silver Mace over in his hands. "Sheesh, well missy, this'll melt down nice it will, I'll give ya 80 gold fer it" Anwyl suggests with a glint in his eye. "That'll do very nicely, Anwyl" Nyx replies with a grin and a wink as she pockets her 80 gold bringing her total up to 135 gold. Having watched the dwarf run off to the smelter, Nyx next makes her way over to Elphaba and begins to browse her wares. "Anything catch your eye there girly?" Elphaba asks, keen to make another sale. "Well, now this is just so pretty, and sparkly!" Nyx replies, picking up a Diamond "and they do say that Diamonds are a girl's best friend" she adds with another grin. She hands over 100 gold to Elphaba, who chuckles merrily as she counts it into her strongbox, and Nyx makes her way back to Heroica Hall, admiring her new gem as she walks, and checking her coinpurse for her remaining 35 gold.

May you have an abundance of cherries and chocolate and wine, and of course LEGO! Happy Birthday!

Firstly, deepest, deepest apologies to Scuba and also to my fellow questmates in The Strivvian Job. My extended absence was entirely unintended and unfortunately unpredictable. All I can say is sorry, and if I'd been able to give you warning or updates I would have done. I've been thoroughly enjoying this quest, both due to your hosting and the other questers, and once more I can only apologise for my lack of participation. Nyx would be raring to go to complete her story with Strivvi, and greatly looking forward to teaming up with the others again, if you'll have her back. Real life can be severely inconvenient and inconsiderate sometimes, so please don't feel bad at all for putting your quest on hold, and thank you for being so frank with us. I have no doubt that your quest will be worth the wait. I'm sure Nyx would be willing to kiss him in case he turns into a handsome prince (or even just anyway, she really likes the "brave little frog"), even though she probably doesn't realise that the last thing she wants is a handsome prince. Marry...? I'm not sure Nyx is the marrying type. Nyx's feelings for Boomingham are complicated, but it's a wonderful journey to see how their friendship evolves, especially as they started off on such bad terms. She's grown to respect him, and her respect is not given lightly, and cares for him as if he were a mentor of some sort (even though they have wildly different skill-sets). I think she sees him as a father-type figure, but wouldn't be afraid of trying to use her womanly wiles on him to get what she wanted should the need arise. It's a dysfunctional friendship, yet it is my hands-down favourite of Nyx's. As to XX, Nyx has yet to admit to herself that they're more alike than she thinks and that she likes him a lot more than she thinks, too. She definitely has feelings for him and the incident when he saved her life had a major impact on her (no pun intended); I would agree that Nyx and XX are the couple I'm hoping for too.

Adorable, fantastic and beautifully built. As always, it's fascinating to see some of the insight into the creative process, and your initial artwork is beautiful too. I have a soft spot for pandas, and these are just gorgeous. Seeing them made my day.

Heroica RPG - Quest #40: The Strivvian Job
Pandora replied to Scubacarrot's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Well, he was nice" says Nyx, referring to the ghost "So he said all that stuff about Pseudos, who seems like an ok kinda god to me, and it's never a bad thing to have a god on your side, and I was just thinking about saying 'yes', when I wondered about the mark, and if it's like a tattoo, because I'm not a huge fan of tattoos, and .... well to cut a long story short my mind wandered off to thinking about shoes. Sorry. So if he comes back, I'd like to say yes, and not just because Larry looks stronger, but because I probably would have said yes anyway." Nyx looks sheepishly at her team-mates "Uhm, so if he's not coming back, I'm ready to get going and I'm sure Rufindel is too." -
Heroica RPG - Quest #40: The Strivvian Job
Pandora replied to Scubacarrot's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Ellaria, I hope you have more faith in yourself now, for your deity surely came to our aid through you in our moment of greatest need." Nyx smiles kindly at Ellaria, who seems to her to be a timid girl who doesn't realise the power she can wield. "Same with you Rufie, you managed to finish that statue off despite all your talk of ineffectually scratching things. And Mr Skrall, thanks all the same, but I'm not sure I need your 'permission' to hit stuff, but it's nice to know I have it anyway. Now, are we sleeping here or what?" -
Heroica RPG - Quest #40: The Strivvian Job
Pandora replied to Scubacarrot's topic in The Heroica Archive
OoC, I'm sure you understand, Scuba, and sorry to the others. "I really shouldn't go about hitting myself on the head, it does me no end of trouble. I seem to have given myself a touch of amnesia, sorry about that. Uhm, yes..." Nyx looks worriedly at Boomingham in his petrified state, but knows Ellaria is a seasoned healer, and places her trust in her. "... if Ellaria does indeed manage one of her big old healy doo-hickies then I will gladly charge another bolt of lightning at Suffering, otherwise I shall risk those parts of my memory not already damaged by alcohol by once more hitting myself with my Healing Staff. Whatever I do, it'll certainly be from the back row." -
Ragnarök Now - Confirmation & Discussion Thread
Pandora replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
TinyPies, thank you so much for letting me play your great game. I've enjoyed it immensely, and the story telling and presentation is top notch. I'm a huge fan, particularly, of the outdoor shots you've used here and there. Thanks again. If only Petrus could have retired to Gaul, and set up a vineyard to make fine red wine. And then drink it all. 1945 would have been a good year for him. -
That would be the world's most pointless ascetic role then. What is the point of being unblockable if you can be blocked from even becoming unblockable? Nobody could ever use a role like that because the only time they'd be successful in using it they'd have to not be blocked anyway. You really should know better, and I'm sure you do. But you blocked me at night, and every night there's been a scum-kill. So that's about as verified as anyone else in your "Town Block". My god, your entire case against me is based on the (possibly faked) spoutings of a dead scummo. Yes, my perfect cover was to act so incredibly town, that I was too town to be true. You were also considered so vocal in lynching Hervi that you were able to take up the mantle of town leader; wouldn't you have been a faaaaar better conversion candidate than me? Especially with all these people claiming to you. They have only been 'confirmed' by you, in the most dubious ways, and I am no less confirmed than they are. Killed them personally? Or just wandered along to vote because things "seem to be heading that way" as you said in the case of Beorn, the scummy role-cop that you didn't think sounded like a scum action and wanted to keep around just that little bit longer whilst you tried to lynch yet more obvious townies with paper-thin accusations? You want to listen to your gut? Then listen to that great degree of dread. Please go and read my posts and see what I've said and done. I have stood in the way of Dragmall trying to lynch obvious sheepy townies again and again, yourself included. Look back at Cunute's behaviour at the beginning of the day, where he and Dragmall and Carl were gloating because they all thought they had their scum win sewn up, and look back over the days and see the patterns of behaviour. My actions have always been townie simply because I'm town. It's so easy to say that even Dragmall can say it, but in my case it's actually true. His entire case is based on the supposed words of a confirmed scum, and you've been considering the possibility that we're both town. Well, if you have any shred of doubt that I'm scum, then you need to unvote me and vote for Cunute, because the entire fate of the town (and possibly the world, given the whole Ragnarok thing) rests on this. I will still be killed at night; there's no way Dragmall can be blocked with an ascetic role, and with the full force of the 'Town Block' to ensure my death, there's no excuse for it not to happen. I've already laid out how in previous posts. So unvote me, let me be killed at night and prove to you I'm town in my death, but lynch a scummy scummo first. If you still have reservations, lay them out and I'll try to answer them, but the day is drawing to a close and you are currently sealing the town's doom.
-
You may not think so, but you know you are wrong. I have given you a viable alternative for today, which would still afford your supposed 'town' victory, and you won't even consider it. You have no argument as to why it wouldn't work, simply because there isn't one. You know that if we followed through with the suggestions mentioned - lynching Cunute, killing me, you 'blocking' me, Carl 'watching' Wary etc, then there would be no reason for me not to die at night, and you and your scum buddies would be exposed. It's as simple as this: Lynch Cunute, ensure I'm killed tonight (having ensured there's no way I cannot be) and you still have me dead, and according to you town still wins, but you will have given me a chance to prove myself. Lynch me and town loses. Look back at everything I've said (and I'm not really talking to Dragmall here as he refuses to countenance the possibility he may be wrong, because he knows he is) and if there's the merest possibility in your mind that I might be town then there's absolutely no reason not to lynch Cunute and still have me killed. The entire game comes down to this. You all have to be absolutely certain that I'm scum, and be willing to live with that decision.
-
The testimony of a proved scum is no testimony at all.
-
The other problem is that in the "I'm scum he's town/SK/whatever" scenario, he's the only night kill aside from the scum (curious, eh? Maybe the only night kill now?) and he's needed to actually kill me, otherwise we'd be suggesting him for a lynch. I need to be killed at night for you to see that I'm town, but you need to lynch a scummo first. Lynching Wary would (allegedly) remove the town's only chance of killing me tonight. And Dragmall's entire argument was based on me being the last scum. So if that's not the case, then what else about his argument is also wrong? Wary is scum, I don't doubt that.
-
I very much believe Wary is scum with Dragmall, and he's certainly been taking the lead from Dragmall for his targets at night. The problem is that when Wary is lynched and shown to be scum, the other scum (Dragmall and co) will somehow try to claim I converted him after all or something (even though that would put in doubt the entire theory of how they 'caught' Dagrun, and how Wary the frightened townie realised there were big friendly other townies to help him fight the 'conversion'). I need to prove to you I'm town, so you need to kill me to see that. The problem is that if you do that by lynching me today then we'll have automatically lost and the servants will win. Lynch a scummo first and then kill me at night. We have all day to work out a way that will absolutely settle this once and for all, so let's do it.
-
Uhm, why do you need their cooperation? It's your vote Sveinn, not theirs. The point is that they aren't going to cooperate, they're scum.
-
Nobody is a confirmed anything until they're dead, and even then in some cases you still can't be sure. How have I gone from being accused to being confirmed? Just kill me tonight and look at my allegiance in the morning, it's that simple. Just lynch Canute or Dragmall or Carl first, otherwise we'll all be dead in the morning. There can be no excuse for me not to be dead tomorrow. The full force of the 'Town Block' should be able to ensure my death at night, but if you lynch me we have lost. You can still kill me, just lynch a scummo first to keep the numbers even. Nobody is a confirmed anything until they're dead, and even then in some cases you still can't be sure. It's the biggest, most elaborate conspiracy to ever grace these hall. I'm town, I've not been converted, Dragmall is scum. It really doesn't make an 'atrocity of the game mechanics', I'll explain further down. Yup, it's stated that the Servants have to outnumber the Einherjar, but that does not exclude the possibility that there are two groups of Servants who didn't/don't know each other. Read back to my post earlier today; two scum factions, both serving Loki, but not knowing who each other are? There's a high chance they'd end up taking each other out, rather than us Einherjar. So trying to figure out what's been going on is boring? No, the servants started with probably two teams of five with maybe one possibility for conversion. And one group of servants is likely to have been completely unaware of the other until a couple of days in. Thus lynching scummy looking (presumed) townies to them yields eventually a scum death and pennies start to drop. It's all completely within the rules and the win conditions. They end up spending so much time trying to lynch each other for looking scummy that actually it ends up balanced. No, it doesn't. Not if all the scum are servants, but the two teams don't/didn't know who each other were. You have no intention of having one of your scum-mates killed and pushing you further away from your scummy victory, you mean. You have a vast number of 'town' roles at your disposal, if you want Wary to kill me you can make it happen if you so choose. You think Dagrun would be so stupid as to reveal her supposed scum-mate to someone who was only partially converted, when there clearly was a possibility it might not be 'completed' given that apparently it wasn't completed? Sorry dude, but it kinda will.... Ragnarok and all that? Pretty much the definition of the end of the world right there. I am town and Dragmall is not. Tomorrow there will be ten? No kill tonight? Not even by Wary? You forgot: E) We lynch one of you scummies today to prove the theory, then Wary tomorrow to stop the killing, then the rest of you sequentially until the town win. Although, actually if you lynch me there will be far more than one death tonight, so tomorrow there will be five. You five scummos. So there are two Servants now? I thought Dragmall was saying he felt close to victory because I was the last scum? So is it one or two? And this is the PM from Dagrun a proven scum and therefore naturally a wholly reliable source? You have to decide if you want to argue it from the perspective of there being one or two scum remaining, for consistency at least. So a theory was bandied around about the possibility of scum stealing actions. I kinda find that interesting. We all know how Ragnar like twists, and I remember him going on an expedition a while back to Egypt. For some reason I have been thinking of that expedition throughout this ordeal, and I attributed that to the recurrence of the ascetic role. But (and I think I know about the Egypt expedition better than anyone here) the actual point of that expedition was to highlight the importance of those of us without night actions; vanillas. We saw someone running off with Gofraid's spear the night he was killed, and I have been saying for a while we must have been shown that for a reason, after all, there was no need for us to know. Except it is entirely possible that the scum do indeed steal roles, and there really aren't that many town roles, and quite a lot have been killed off (yes I still believe the remaining 'Town Block' with the exception of Cranebeinn and Sveinn are scum). But town wouldn't need that many roles, if there are two rival factions, and if those factions are looking for roles to steal. I think that's why Dragmall has been trying to lynch sheep - they are most likely to be vanilla townies, and the scum can only steal the action if they kill people at night. It would also explain why people with scummy scummy roles like Beorn the role-cop get an extra night to be 'tested' - or rather night killed and their role stolen, although unfortunately for Dragmall Beorn ended up being lynched instead. So here, vanilla townies are important, as the scum are less interested in killing them at night. Anyway, that's all idle speculation and those of you who need to see the truth will probably think I've gone bonkers for saying it, but I just thought I would while I still have breath in my body. Here's a plan: We lynch Cunute, not really caring much what his allegiance is (with one scum remaining according to Dragmall there are townies to spare, and the same if we listen to Cunute that there are two scum remaining, still there's leeway, surely) and you have Wary kill me tonight. And to make sure Wary doesn't get 'converted' Dragmall the scummiest of scum can 'block' me. And to make sure the kill goes through, Carl the 'watcher' can 'watch' Wary, and Sveinn, who we all agree (even Dragmall) is the town protector will promise faithfully not to protect me. So there's absolutely no reason for me not to be dead tomorrow, and you'll have the alignments of both me and Cunute to work with, and you'll all see who's telling the truth. Can't say fairer than that, right? Everyone who agrees say: Vote: Canute Grey-Bush (CallMePie)
-
May your badge bring you great pleasure, it is so shiny that lots of people have been able to see is for so long. You still wonder why I went quiet? That I am to automatically trust you when you claim to have the same opinion as me about Hervi? I actually expected a town Hervi to come and talk to me about the fact I'd been pushing him, but he didn't. Instead, only you. Your suspicions of Hervi that you claimed to me were not borne out in public, and the actual point I stopped talking was when you and Dragmall and Hervi went off to have a little conversation and came back saying "no, don't worry, it's fine now, we're all friends again". And I didn't ignore my speculations, I was unwavering in my suspicion of Hervi, so I dont know what other speculations you feel I ignored. I am town, I have not been converted, Dragmall is scum. If I felt we had another day, I'd suggest you test me at night, but you won't do that, and we'll lose anyway. If you won't see it... just go back and read for goodness sake. And then you can remember the entire responsibility for this rests with you. All of it. Unsurprisingly I vote: Dragmall (Dragonator)
-
I'm certain he's the protector as he claims too. I wasn't saying otherwise. I don't see what testing Sveinn has to do with you not outing a scummy sounding role-cop who you knew had targeted you when you were happy to out a townie sounding inheritor who (understandably) hadn't. So was Sveinn doing the same? We both agree he's likely town, and he did pretty much the same thing as Rurik and I did. And looking back, yes it was after the hammer vote, but he was also the first to unvote. I didn't say all the town power roles were scum. We know we have already lost some town power roles, and there are possibly more we've lost that we don't know about. I don't believe at this moment that the inventor or the protector are scum, for instance. What I actually said was I believed that some people who have claimed town power roles (and have only been 'verified' by you or amongst themselves) were scum.
-
No, at least you have done me the service of having me out of the way when the town suffers its humiliating defeat at your hands. Maybe I should be flattered? Because scum never, ever lie. And you seriously believe that Dagrun was so stupid as to tell someone partially converted a true name? Surely that would make her the worst scum ever? It's quaint if Dagrun actually did say this to Wary that I might be considered some sort of 'sweetener' to the deal. I doubt it was ever said, though. So maybe instead I should be flattered by the elaborate plan to paint me as scum? Sure, except that's not how it happened. I don't mutter, I make my thoughts plain. The two options you provided for lynch that day were far more townie looking than Stemid, and clearly I wasn't the only one to agree. Just because you say it, doesn't make it true. As I said to Hervi, so long ago, anyone can go back and read the truth for themself. You went hard after Cranebeinn, and hoped I would too, but I found his response reasonable. Why would I do that? You say you agreed with me. Odd for you to agree with a supposed scum, isn't it? And you tried to lynch a sheep rather than lynch the role cop you'd seen target you and distrusted so much you wanted to test? The role cop - have you heard of a scummier role? And I had nothing to say about Beorn because that happened whilst I was asleep. Look up 'world time clock' in the library and compare the times to some sort of Kingdom that's united and you'll see. And then unvoted him at the point where he was close to being lynched. You forgot that bit. Your entire accusation of me is based on the fact that I might have been converted (attributed in part to the wooziness experienced by Sveinn on night one, when it's already been mentioned that other people have been woozy), I'm just too damn town for defending all those townies, and a lying scummy scum said I was scum to the serial killer halfway through some bizarre botched conversion. Except I know I don't have to convince you of that. The Einherjar that follow you will have to prepare for the biggest face-palm ever in the conclusion tomorrow. By the by, does nobody think it odd, with all the town resources at his disposal, that Dragmall has never managed to prevent a scum-kill? Each and every night (excepting last night, obviously) the scum have sidled past blockers and protectors to carry out their evil plans. Nobody else finds that at all odd? That we even still have a protector that's alive and kicking that everyone knew about and townies were still dying? Absolutely. Every single night I have been sleeping soundly in my bed, doing absolutely nothing but dream of blowing stuff up, and burning stuff down. Nobody's died by fire? No? Ok then.
-
There really is so much crap here to respond to, but let's make a start, at least. Firstly, I'm town, I have been from the beginning, I haven't been converted. Of course I'd say that, but it needs to be categorically said. Dragmall, you're clearly baiting me and looking for a fight, whatever, you and I both know you're wrong, but let's play along with your silly argument in the hopes that maybe we (the town that is, not you and I Dragmall) can snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. So apparently I was converted in some weird two-stage process? Which people are happy to believe began on night one, when Sveinn felt woozy protecting me, and was completed on night two, yet I was still going after Hervi so very vocally the following day? Apparently you're willing to believe (and by you, I mean the remaining townies here) that I did so to maintain some sort of cover. A cover I apparently continued to maintain as I stepped in to prevent Dragmall from lynching obvious townies, like Finn and Patrekr. He thought he'd try a different tack when he presented his case against Cranebeinn, as I had previously mentioned I'd been suspicious of him, but he just didn't expect me to be so damn reasonable. I think he believed I'd be all hot-headed and just continue to go after Cranebeinn, but unfortunately for him, I didn't, I listend to Cranebeinn's response and thought it reasonable. So on three separate occasions I could have supported a lynch against people I believe to be town (Finn was confirmed town, and Patrekr really is obvious town), and even blamed Dragmall for those lynches, but instead someone else gets lynched instead of Dragmall's pick, and that someone else was even occasionally a scummo. Dragmall, you told me you knew both Beorn and Canute had been seen targeting you, and you wondered what they were up to. You later discovered that not only had Beorn been targeting you but that he was claiming role-cop, and even that wasn't enough to bring his case to light, yet you were more than happy to out Finn and his entirely reasonable and completely plausible role. How have you managed to clear Canute since? You considered me clear, yet you also say I'm a high risk for conversion. Surely if you had any doubts you'd have had your pet killer kill me? But you might have been afraid that plan might blow up in your face. And I don't believe I'm a higher risk than conversion than you are. Converting you would get the scum the 'Town Leader' and alleged blocker in one fell swoop, whereas with me they'd just get a vanilla. And they had role cops, so surely they would have known? At no point did you think it was a good idea to 'clear' me? With all those roles at your disposal, you never once thought to confirm me? The person who went after Hervi from day one? Anyway, let's look back a bit shall we? I was apparently converted (fully) by day three. Possibly day four. So we'll look at day five. Let's look at the attempted lynch on Patrekr, and we should note that two confirmed scum voted for him. I could have hammered that vote, but I didn't. It was clear to me that he was the wrong person, so I didn't vote for him (don't you remember saying something similar Sveinn?). I had alread drawn attention to Beorn and his lack of return-with-revelation as he had promised, and then Cranebeinn starts a vote on Beorn (while I was sleeping I should add) and others reluctantly follow, requiring Sveinn to make a rousing speech to get him lynched. This is the Beorn that Dragmall knew was a role cop and knew had apparently 'role copped' him. I also pointed out how quiet people had been - Dagrun, Carl, and Wilhalm, and all of them jumped defensively to say they were here and talking and working behind the scenes (although to whom is anyone's guess). Why would I draw attention to my supposed fellow scum in Dagrun? Wary, can you possibly explain how if I'm some criminal mastermind who's fooled the town into thinking I'm town by acting so damn townie, why on earth would I have been doing anything last night if I and my supposed scum-mates new I'd be tracked? I'd already claimed vanilla to people who matter, so why would I risk that? Especially if (rather conveniently) the scum are able to switch actions around? And we're still not clear on how many scum there are in this hair-brained theory. And I'm also really surprised that you (Wary) managed to somehow guess the exact role that Dagrun claimed to Snotra in private. Remarkable. There were a lot more points I could have made, but other people have made them for me. It is purely laughable that a member of the scum-team would out another member of the same team to someone who is only half-converted. It is even more laughable that that same scum team wouldn't apparently see that things might go horribly awry, for instance in having their action blocked, and would still wish to tell all to a prospective convert. It is laughable still that a prospective convert would worry about how to get himself out of conversion and consult with the town oracle only after he'd in turn spilled all of the town roles to the scum (presumably including th useful town blocker role, who he could have asked to block the conversion before spilling his guts). It's quite obvious from the unpleasant gloating that Dragmall and Canute think their day has come and that they've won. There is no point whatsoever trying to reason or argue with them. However, any true townies really need to take a long hard analytical look at the events and possibilities and realise what's going on here. I can tell you I'm town all day, but only by appraising everything I've done will you see the truth. If you're truly Einherjar then you'll realise that we need to vote Dragmall out today.
-
I'll come back to the mound of pig poo Dragmall has been building whilst I've been exploding stuff, and firstly comment on this: Yes, my mind is blown. And I think you've nailed it. It really would explain so much, and it's not that dissimilar to other conflicts Ragnar has been involved with. Two scum factions, both Servants of Loki, neither knows the other, and presumably rivals until they can merge. One branch of the Servants realises this as soon as the first scummo dies and they spend some time trying to kill each other before joining up and then trying to kill the rest of us. It explains how we've had dead scum coming out of our ears, and yet we're still here. And how we still seem to have so many night actions still around despite losing a large number of townies. It explains our win condition and it also explains people's odd behaviour. I had begun to think there were serial conversions to account for how people's behaviour changed so much (town one moment and scummy the next; supporting one scumbag and then accusing a rival) but actually during the phase where the two factions were trying to kill each other they would both have looked pretty town as they were actually looking for other scummos to lynch. Once they realised they could merge, they didn't want to kill each other, not knowing who the others were, explaining why Dragmall was so repeatedly keen to lynch obvious townies (to avoid lynching another unknown scum). It also explains the kookiness behind Bergulf's investigation technique, and why it was so important as to have an inheritor. I doubt they merged when Dragmall spoke to Hervi, that would have been too early to account for all this, but perhaps when Wary spoke to Dragmall? It explains why this is palpably the last day, and therefore how the numbers work. The scum both control the killing actions (they always have) but now they're one ugly morass and one more townie lynch and they're home free. I'll come back and try to address some of the ridiculousness that Dragmall and co. have been spouting. I can only assume the last scum are Dragmall, Wary, Canute, Carl and Wilhalm.

"Sounds reasonable, Atters. Skrall, I have no doubt you can deal with Suffering on your own, meanwhile I'll be trying to give myself a headache. Larry dear, please may I act before Ellaria, just in case I set myself on fire? " Nyx readies her Healing Staff and attempts to bash herself on the head with it, staying resolutely in the back row.
