Nyx continues to make soothing noises to Cronk and keeps her arm around his shoulders. She speaks quietly to him. "Cronk, I know you well, you are a good... being. We learn from our mistakes and move on, it is part of life. Perhaps if that had not happened, you wouldn't have become the good and true Paladin you are now? I am sure that Krellik holds you no ill will, nobody surely can, because of your heart. We see you now, as you are, don't let this weirdo get to you" "So am I right, or what?"
-
Nyx feels the air change around her, but that was expected, really. She scuffs the ground with her new red heels. "Apprentice, huh. I was hoping for princess or something, but actually I don't think I'd want to be a princess here." She sees her brave friend Cronk dissolve in front of her, something she never expected to see. She can't not go to him. "Cronk, Cronk, it's ok. It's just this guy playing with your mind, it's ok, shhh, it is, really. It's ok" She carries on comforting Cronk and thinking, before looking up to the Master of Regrets. "Is it the one who didn't find death scary because they had no regrets?"

But actually there is a real possibility of either of us being lynched. So we should go quietly? -

So, your vote for me is based on a case made independently by Hinck and Scouty. But Hinck has just unvoted me, yet you're willing to hold your vote on me. Out of interest, if Hinck, Scouty and I weren't potential lynches, who would you choose instead? I'll get to that, but it'll take some time, there's a lot to wade through. -

Unvote Hinckley. I have said I am much more inclined to believe he's town, and I can't in all conscience vote for him to save my skin. My skin is worth saving, though. I have to vote, so I'm going to vote Shadows. I pointed out my concerns with your comments many times, some of which you still haven't addressed since this debacle with Scouty and Hinck evolved. -

I've said it before, I think Hinck and Scouty are both probably town, but you're making a massive mistake in voting for me. If you don't want to vote for them, fine, but not me. Give me better reasons, so I can at least defend myself and prevent this catastrophe. And in response to TPRU, I wasn't defending Dave, I gave my opinion on him, which Hinck had asked for. I have also explained what I said about Scouty, and explained that it's no longer valid. -
"I don't like it, but apparently this is necessary for our quest. So be it. I'm in. As others have said, the quest comes first."

What busts? I wasn't aware there was anything to check in on there. I listed it as an option, that's all. Because everyone else seemed to accept Scouty's clarification of things, and you kept pushing, kept questioning and kept saying you thought things were inconsistent. Thus, in my eyes, if you showed up town it would indicate to me that perhaps you were right all along. The irony is that during our conversations last night I was coming around to the idea you were town, but I asked why you were trying to convince only me and not everyone else. Because as of last night you vehemently believed he was, and seemed to be the only one still pushing for him to be lynched. No, I said I thought you had made the day into a 'you vs Scouty' day. Whether others agree with me is up to them, but others have equally looked back at the day and seen it as a 'Hinck vs Scouty' day. You did mention a couple of other suspects, but you really didn't expand on them or pursue them. Honesty that I was trying to convince you of and you only noticed last night? If the vote is based on how much we talk, then you are the right candidate today. I'm trying to work out what you're saying here, but I'm going to assume that you think that townies will be rude and scum will be sweet? There are a few people who might not see me as very nice, and I already told you that I'm playing the same game I always play because everyone always gets it wrong. As seems to be happening now. I didn't tell Scouty everything, by any means. And if by prying you mean I was asking questions, then yes, of course I was but I was asking you for clarification on events, just as I was asking Scouty for clarification on his role. Same here. That's actually a very big if right there. Huge, in fact. For the record, again, I am town. Uhm? No Scouty, I am not sure of it and never said so, but I do think, based on the conversation you posted, that he might be scum. I told you in private and I'll say it again that the 'clarifications' you received might well have been the result of a scum team realising what one of their scummy number had been spouting in private and seeking to limit any damage from it. It doesn't mean I'm sure they are scum, and the very last message I sent to you said so. You edited that piece of information into that PM, I can tell by the e-mail notification, and because of that I didn't see it. I'm not saying you did that scummily, but you did do it, hence my 'vague' advice about telling you to find some way to protect yourself, especially considering everybody has pretty much come out and said they believe you. I'm going to really struggle to defend myself of being scum, by being accused of being towny. What am I up to? I contacted Hinck because he'd been hit with the crappy night action stick and I wanted to understand better what he was saying. I contacted you because I wanted to clarify some things about your role, as apparently so did others. I haven't PMed anyone else, and nobody else has PMed me. So there are no 'other' people. And I have no fear about you and Hinck comparing notes, go right ahead. Hinck's already said it's consistent. Scouty, you are making a huuuuge mistake, you really are. I'm town, and town doesn't want to lose me. You've put me in an awful position, but if you're willing to give so many other people a second chance, then you should do the same with me. You have the same thoughts on the watcher as I do. That you can't be sure if he's scum or town, which is exactly what I said. I'm not certain the watcher is scum, and I never said that. I've been doing everything I can to appear how I usually do? Really? Actually, I've just been playing the same game I always do, because people always get it wrong, and they're never quite sure. Need I remind you of Ragnarok? I can assure you that the aggression towards Shadows wasn't forced; I found inconsistencies and I questioned them - that's what I always do. I mentioned it before, but I'll explain again. My exact words to Hinck were: "If you show up town then I would want to lynch Scouty tomorrow". This is after a barrage of PMs from Hinck stating again and again and again why he thinks Scouty's scum. I told Hinck yesterday that I was becoming more unsure about whether he was scum, and with that in mind is it not appropriate to think that the one person Hinck had been gunning for all day might actually be scum if Hinck is town after all? Hinck has now changed his mind and it sounds as if he no longer thinks Scouty is scum, so now that he seems to have quelled his own concerns about Scouty, my view last night is no longer valid. It may not be a viewpoint that others agree with, but it was how I saw it last night. I am town, and lynching me would be very unhelpful. Right now I also believe Scouty and Hinck to be town too, and I'm glad there's now focus on another suspect, but to say that I'm disappointed that it's me would be putting it mildly. I believe there is a very good chance you would want to keep me alive over Hinck, town though I believe him to be. -
"Yeah yeah yeah" Nyx mutters as she trudges away "I'm just a weak, defenseless little girl, whatever, think what you like, hog's breath." "Uhm s'cuse me, hi, Master of Regret, hi there. Uhm, just out of interest, your terms, do they just relate to your brother or do they relate to all of us? I mean, who would the dark lady be coming for? And who is she, is she your sister? Sorry to interrupt, do carry on with all the serious portents of doom and so on. "

You're right, apologies. I just checked again and it was indeed Scouty who removed the "watcher's" name from the PMs. For some reason I thought Hinck did it when he quoted the whole conversation. -

I understand what you're saying, but the actual name doesn't matter. He could be called the acrobatic fruitbat for all that matters. What matters is that he said "It's just a regular watcher role, I choose who I watch each night." and then reported tracking results. I also agree that he sounds untrustworthy and like he wants to be converted. Addendum: It's also worth noting that Hinck knows who this 'watcher' is, just as Scouty does too. -

Pandora replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Scouty, this part of the role is still troubling me. What exactly is it that you can see? Do you get notified of potential deaths? Rick has already mentioned this - but the rules stated that players couldn't target the same player two nights running, so this is an odd statement. But it does however indicate that the 'watcher' claims they were themselves targeting Scouty night one. Given what who knows about the watcher role? Out of interest, why tell someone who you targeted on night zero? There was no apparent need to. I'm not convinced this 'watcher' understands the difference between a watcher and a tracker, given that he claimed he had been 'watching' Scouty, in which case he would have seen whomever targeted Scouty and not who Scouty targeted. Out of everything I have actually heard today, the 'watcher' sounds like the most suspicious person to me, because they don't actually sound like a watcher at all. They sound like a tracker, which could very well be a scum role, and a lot of their posts to Scouty are merely agreeing with Scouty's assumptions. Claiming tracker-type results whilst claiming to actually be a watcher is... frankly scummy. I wouldn't trust whoever this is as far as I could kick them. -

So reading through, I'm inclined to believe Scouty. I'm surprised he didn't seek to clarify his role better, but questioning about the role he has presented does stand up. Scouty isn't the kind of person to just go off and act independently of any team he's on, so I believe if he were to role claim then he'd have all the details worked out beforehand. I can also believe that he didn't spot Cecilie's death as being a day kill because most of us seemed to miss it too. The presence of a day killer has been cleared up beyond doubt with the most gruesome of timing, and I'm more inclined to think that that kill is the psycho killer, and I can thus appreciate there may be a specific protector for it. Hinck, I think you are (literally and metaphorically) making a song and dance about nothing. You told me about Scouty's PMs and the first thing I said to you (after saying they sounded weird - a reference to all that haste and hush stuff) was that it sounded like he was trying to contact scum, but that he could well be town playing a gambit. You brought this to me, presumably for discussion, but didn't discuss it after that, but just outed someone who had a good chance of having a useful role in the day thread. Very careless. Add to that you telling me you had apparently wrongly sent some information to another player by PM, because the two PMs had the same title. Again careless, and you led me to believe that you instigated the PM chain to which you added this information erroneously, and I find it hard to believe you'd start another PM chain with someone with the exact same title as your role PM. The fact that people are making reasonable responses to Scouty's defense of his accusations seems to be making you more and more het-up. I can see that this roleplay crap is frustrating, but you have other means of communicating at your disposal. I suggest you use them and clarify a few things. For now I vote: Hinckley. -

This is a great Friends update of an old Classic Town set. As others have said, your segway is great, and it's a nice concept to take an old set and update it. I've changed the link you had to the actual picture of 6613 that you were linking to so we can see its comparison more clearly (and you're indexed in Heartlake Park ).

I did look it up, and this is what I found. It implies an evil or malicious laugh, which could just as easily be attributed to the scum as to the SK. I'd be interested to see what you found when googling that convinced you otherwise. -

If I'd wanted to lynch darkdragon, I would have voted for her. At no point did I consider her to be a lynch candidate for yesterday or today. I'm not 'fighting this issue', I am teasing out the inconsistencies in the things you say. I expect people to have theories, yes, but to be absolutely certain, no. Such as when, exactly? I don't remember you becoming nasty towards me on any occasion I've been scum. I do, however, remember you being a massive twat when you were scum. A bit like now. Again, I can believe people have suspicions about what might have happened, strong feelings even, but to be absolutely certain as you are? You're exaggerating the import of that point by saying the town is lost. -

Your confused here Shadows. You claimed it was a coincidence, not me. I said it was only a coincidence if she had been killed by the SK. Why are you so insistent that that's what happened, and that it's definite to 'anyone paying attention'. I still think the theories could go either way, and a few people seem to agree with me. You are Shadows, and people who don't pay attention will blindly agree with you, because you purport to be so wise. "It's true because Shadows said so" is how you get away with so much. People don't dare challenge you because you can frankly become quite unpleasant when you are challenged. You are the only one who is absolutely certain darkdragon was killed by the SK. He said yesterday it was because changes in Corny's behaviour would be apparent. Today it was because everybody trusted Corny. He might find it difficult to argue his 'benefit of conversion' point from two differing start points in his logic. Gah, obviously meant to be 'you're' or 'you are'. -

It's only a coincidence if the SK actually did kill her, and only you seem pretty sure that that's what happened. -
Nyx walks through the city, her low mood and thoughts in her head keeping her silent. She listens, as always, and some things pique her interest. She draws her robes around her, feeling the cold still, as always. Cronk speaks to her, and the gentleness of his voice manages to crack a small but sincere smile from her. "Thank you friend Cronk, I will gladly accept the Phoenix Essence. I still hope we won't have to use it. And thank you for the Mead, Arthur." She adds, accepting the bottle from him, too. She drains it in one, feeling its warmth spread throughout her body and feeling a little better. She sees Atramor gripping her staff, and a pang runs through her, but her common sense tells her there are few she would trust with such an item, and she should not be so silly. To distract herself, she throws some questions at the Orc named Zane. "So, the Master of Regret (and does that mean he regrets a lot of stuff?) is the Gray Wizard's brother, and they both have a sister? Who is their sister? And which two debts do you still have, and what are they and to whom?" As she speaks she sees the supposed King of Power electrocute a rat, and while resisting the urge to incinerate the odious little runt, she does worry that he might be beginning to feel a little too much better. OoC Nyx is used to accepting free drinks, so if you want payment Flipz, you might have to ask for it.

darkdragon was suspected by JimB, Rick and Hinckley yesterday (and Hinck threw a few accusations around), so I disagree with your view that she would have had a hard time surviving today. To use that as a jumping board to assume that Hinck was the SK and killed her is quite a big leap. He may well be, but just because darkdragon thought she was going to be killed by the SK doesn't mean she was right and that she actually was. Out of interest, how will Hinck surviving the night affect your opinions on his allegiance? Surely the most conclusive way to know what he is, is to kill him and then see? I was under the impression that people voted for Cornelius not because they trusted him, but rather because they would be better able to discern if he had been converted at any point. For that exact reason I thought he was actually a poor choice, given that he's pretty good at playing scum. You're voting for the mayor with the intent to lynch them later. I can understand your reasoning, but mayoral votes are locked in, and votes for mayor are specifically in the first 24 hours of the day. So you are essentially locking in your lynch vote now, with so much of the day to go, and without the ability to change it. And if you do change your mind to vote someone else later, you have someone you don't trust sitting in the mayoral position. -

Except there are several reasons why it wouldn't have made sense for the scum to kill Cornelius, one of which I outlined earlier. You aren't making a whole load of sense to me here. -
Eurobricks Mafia Day Two: Moonlight Medicine
Pandora replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You're strongly suggesting that her killer was someone who was also a lynch target, and that her killer was likely scum (rather than Cornelius being killed by the scum). Did you have anyone specific in mind? -
Nyx slinks into the room, with much on her mind. She makes her way over to Cronk, to relay some information. "So in the cemetery there was a skellie woman called Zee who wanted to raise Zoot to swallow the whole of creation, but unfortunately she and her ridiculously large undead army bested us. The odd thing is though, that Sphinx and XX appeared at the end and captured her to use as a hostage, apparently for an exchange. I've no idea with whom, or for whom, though. Anyway, it was a rubbish fight and I'm sorry we couldn't win it. I can only assume the gate is still closed somehow, though." She wanders off, in a reflective mood and leans in the shadows against the wall, waiting and listening.
