  1. Thanks 3Brick. Cool, i look forward to seeing your police MOCs. I also gave a shot at designing a police station a few months ago, but never got to finish it. Maybe some day i will.
  2. Wow, these are some great animations. Very cool stuff. Does anyone know if there are some easily understandable tutorials on how to make such animations?
  3. What a massive work this must have been, and the execution is astonashing. And like everyone said already, it looks amazing no matter the colour.
  4. Thank you. I don't own much Lego so i only design in LDD. If anyone want's to give it a go and build any of this MOCs in real bricks, you sure have my support as i would love to see this stuff materialized. Of course, there are probably lots of bricks in these MOCs in colours that are not available in real life, but this could probably be worked around using different bricks in needed places or by changing the overall colour schemes. I also made a few cheats in terms of physics and connectivity here and there for the sake of a better looking design, but only in some minor details that can easily be changed.
  5. Such a nice and clean build. I always loved those tower-bridge sets as a kid, and it's beautiful to see a MOC that takes it to a next level.
  6. I have had some really weird dreams, as everyone does. I even kept a deram journal for a short period of time. Some of the weird stuff is when i have a dream that is in a way a continuation of a dream that i had in the past, and in this new dream i remember that past dream as a memory of real life event. It's also always fun to wake up and realize that you had a dream within a dream. And then there is some more unusual stuff that i'm not too keen to talk about, but i don't even know if i'd be able to explain it. Dreams are like another dimension, and this veil of mystery that surrounds them is something that spurs our imagination when it pulls us into philosophical endevours of our minds thinking about life itself.
  7. Thanks again everyone for your kind comments. Unfortunatly i don't have any more pictures. Rendering in POV-Ray tends to be very time consuming, so i made just a few basic pictures for each MOC. But maybe i'll make more in the future. Untill then, if you have Lego Digital Designer instaled on your computer, you can check out the "Train Station.lxf" file that i shared in the opening post. That way you can check out every single detail from any angle you want. Just note that the model has around 14000 bricks so a slower computer might have problem opening this file. I'm glad you like it. I forgot to mention that the roof of the Gas station can also be removed using a "connected selection tool" as it's built as a single section.
  8. I add my condolences as well. May he rest in peace.

  10. You guys made some cool vehicles. Great stuff
  11. An interesting idea and an excellent execution. Brick on Peteris!
  12. You've captured the look of a Porsch which is not something that is easy in LEGO at that scale. It looks really good.
  13. I'd be amazed if i had this as a kid.. Hell, i'm amazed just looking at this airport. Can't wait to see it finished.
  14. So much cool alternate builds. Great job guys!
  15. You've made a good choice with combining this two sets, and an end result is very nice. Cool stuff

This is outstanding! So much life and details on such grand scale. Amazing!
  17. Thanks for your comments guys! I really appreciate it. Those are just frames for the models. MOCs are like artwork so i put a frame around every one of them. Thanks. Everything built in LEGO is usualy in smaller scale with highlighted details, so making things more spacious can make them seem emptier than you'd like. Finding a balance between realism and LEGO, both in scale and detail amount, is something that can present a challenge in it's own way. I don't like cramped spaces when designing a MOC so there's always some kind of uncertainty in level of detail or spaciousness.
  18. Hi everyone. Looking at all these amazing MOCs here at Eurobricks i decided to share my own. This is a collection of city MOCs that i designed over the past few years. All of these models are made in Lego Digital Designer, and are presented with pictures rendered using POV-Ray. I didn't make a lot of pictures as i'm sharing LDD files in which the models can be viewed entirely. Most of the buildings have roofs built in separate sections that can be removed (using "connected selection" tool) to see the interiors. Also note that because of the high brick count, that some of this models have, slower computers might have problems with opening those files. That's it for the introduction.. I hope to insipre people with my work just like i get inspired by others. 19. Here's a quick idea. I couldn't think of anything smaller than this. I hope it helps. And i'm not sure if all of the bricks are available in pick a brick, but they're made in standard LDD mode so i guess they could be. LDD file
  20. What i would like is an option with which we could lock selected brick (or bricks) into a desired plane (horizontal or vertical) and make it easier to put that brick into a desired spot in the model. Sometimes it takes awhile for LDD to "figure out" where you want to place a certain brick or a group of bricks, and this becomes a sort of a problem when building something big cuz LDD slows down.
  21. This depends on your computer specifications and brick count in the model. But if there's one thing i've learned working in LDD it's having patience with it, especially when dealing with larger mocs.
  22. I'we seen all of the MOC from your series some days ago on MOCpages and i must say they're all amazing. Unique and artictic. looking forward to see more.
  23. Very beautiful scenes, and a nice transition from the first to the third scene. Also the backstory gives this moc another dimension.
  24. We've all seen a lots of amazing mocs and dioramas here, and this has to be one of the best ever. Such an epic and ispiring scene with lots of great details. Pure art.
  25. From my standpoint a MOC is MOC whether it is built in real bricks or using digital tools. The name says it all; „My own creation“. It doesn't say what it is, just that it is an „original“ creation made by someone. And that is the whole point; to create something with your imagination. The bricks are just a tool that represent your talent, and with which you can express your creativity the most. So if someone doesn't have his own bricks then digital tools are the best way to express himself through a toy (LEGO) he enjoys to build with. Ofcourse the real brick MOCs tend to be more impressive because of the fact that they were made with real bricks and that shows the amount of effort and dedication a person has put into collecting and building LEGO. But you make it sound like it's a competition on who's got more bricks or the right bricks to build a certain MOC, when it's not. We share our MOCs to isnpire others like we are inspired by other builder's MOCs, and it all comes down to imagination and the creativity rather then the count of bricks. You wrote that to you: „these tools are computer games to be played with and don't translate into my head as Lego. It can't be picked up, felt how it's weighted and can't be feasible or known if it's just a bunch of bricks floating as the structural integrity is removed to add detail.“ But from a vieweres perspective i can't pick up, hold or feel the weight or other people's MOCs cuz all i can see are pictures of those creations. You can build anything form anything but what catches someones eyes is the creativity and that is something you either have or don't have. While you can always buy your bricks, that won't make you a greater builder if you can't build a good MOC. One important thing to add up to this topic is that when it comes to sharing our MOCs, a digital creation is a more interactive and more appreciative way of sharing your builds cuz everybody can see the MOC from firsthand (in LDD or some other tool). All of the parts of the building, all of the little details and techniques can be seen very easily and that is something you can't fully get by just taking pictures of your creations.
