  1. It's ok I guess we spamed up this thread a bit
  2. Take it easy man. If you read my post better you would understand it was an obvious joke..
  3. Nice zombie horse you built there Wardancer. On the more serious side, I guess this kind of zombified atempts are rare as most of the people don't like to mutilate their legos
  4. Wow, a very cute moc. And a good rendition. I love it!
  5. Thank you Alasdair for the quick reply, but the casing didn't help. The problem is that those files are missing (i even used the LGEO folder from LDraw all-in-one installer and it also misses the .tab files). The digitalbricks link i provided is now fixed. Thank you for noting that. The LGEO folder is a parts library like ldraw, and the parts it contains are pov versions of ldraw parts so the renderings look much smoother. Now i read in the Lars Hassing's (creator of L3P) page (http://www.hassings.dk/l3/l3p.html) that the files lg_elements.lst and lg_colors.lst (which are in the LGEO folder) replace the .tab files. So this problem which i have shouldn't exist, like it didn't exist on my older computer when i was using L3P. EDIT: PROBLEM SOLVED (partly) I found the newer wersion of L3PAO (http://news.lugnet.com/announce/?n=3860&t=i&v=a), which doesn't need the .tab files, but it still won't make pov file using lgeo parts. I'll try to see what i'm doing wrong.
  6. I always lurk on these forums, rarely write cuz i'm not a man of many words, but i have to say that this village, as all of Derfel's mocs, is astonashing. So beautiful, detailed and alive, it's surreal.
  7. Hi, i have a problem regarding LGEO parts library. I don't use Ldraw directly so i'm not that familiar with stuff related to it. What i want is to present my LDD mocs through POV-Ray renderings. To do that i need to convert my .lxf file to .ldr file, and then convert .ldr file to .pov file. For this last conversion i use L3P with L3PAO. Now, this can be done without the LGEO parts, but the final result is not as good as with LGEO. So i downloaded LGEO parts (from http://www.digitalbricks.org/ ) , put the LGEO folder into my LDRAW folder, opened L3PAO and shown it the location of lg folder, but then i got the message: "Certain .TAB files needed for LGEO substitution appear to be missing. L3PAdd-On will function properly, but LGEO library substitution may not be available. You may want to check your LGEO install." I went to LGEO folder and those .TAB files really aren't in it (and there not hidden either). Looking on the internet i found out the names of those files (l2p.tab, l2p_ELMT.tab, and l2p_ptrn.tab), but nothing more on where i can download them or something (and the digitalbricks is the only place where LGEO can be downloaded). I used LGEO parts on my older computer (with the same operating system as i have now) and never had this problem. PS: This kind of thread already exists on eurobricks (where the problem isn't solved) but i didn't want to write in it since it is in the „wrong“ subforum (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=37343) Maybe the easiest solution would be if someone can send me those .TAB files via mail (omerajo@hotmail.com), if that would work. Any help is appreciated.
  8. I love all your builds Derfel, so it's a great thing to see how you build your mocs. I don't think anybody does such a superb job with landscaping, which really brings the whole creation to another level. And this village is coming along nicely. I can't stop looking at those pictures you made.
  9. Wow, this is very beautiful. I love it! Do you plan on expanding this?
  10. A really, really cool MOC Just_a_man. I like the interior, as well as the look of the building from the outside (although maybe roof could use a little more work, but it doesn't matter). And one piece is missing in the lxf. The satellite dish that you used for the lamp above the table with flowers on the 2nd floor. The overall post apocalyptic feeling is great, and reminds me of Fallout game. Nice work.
  11. I like LDD forum, and visit it regularly (as most of the other forums on Eurobricks). This is the place where I found out about LDD universe mod, and here is where I got first hand insight in many official lego sets (from Official Lego sets made in LDD thread). Also the Eurobricks MOC LXF Index is a great thread to see people's MOCs first hand, and not only from photos. There is a index topic for LDD MOCs with links to every moc's topic (if this is what you ment): Eurobricks MOC LXF Index I also agree that some topics (like for example "Official Lego sets made in LDD" and "Eurobricks MOC LXF Index") should be pinned. Great work with this forum guys.
  12. Yep, that's what i meant. MOC looks good nevertheless.
  13. It works now. Details on the roof surface are great. I'm not sure if you overlooked something or if you meant it to be this way, but on the lowest floor, in each corner, there's a little hole because of the panel bricks you used. Anyways, a really nice build! And one suggestion: Since your creation has around 14000 bricks, some people with slower computers might have problem opening the LDD file, so you should write that next to the download link.
  14. I like the general shape of it, especially the way you did the front part. Cockpit looks very cool. With some more outside detailing the whole creation will look even better. Nice work.
  15. Very nice building pauldk. Unfortunately the download link isn't working. It's good that windows are not transparent, 'cuz it wouldn't look as good as it looks in this screenshot you've made. Also, nice job with adding those logos.
  16. I'm not sure, but i believe that the white background was when making a screenshot in LDD 3. The screenshot was be in png format, and the background was in fact transparent(no matter what background you would see in the view mode of LDD, that background wouldn't appear in screenshot) like hrontos said. Now in LDD 4, when you make a screenshot the background stays like you see it in View mode of LDD and the screenshots are in jpg format if i'm not mistaken.
  17. Thanks for commenting guys. @ Abu: No, no , i've just put the sections on some distance from each other while building, but the outpost will be half the size of the castle.
  18. Very nice looking building vean, and especially the interior details. I like both the colored and the white version of it. Maybe the white version looks a little "boring" in ldd, but it would look good when built with real bricks.
  19. I've added some more pov-ray pictures of the village in the first post. I also wanted to show something new that i'm working on. A Kingdom Cold northern outpost. Here are few pictures of the work so far: Gatehouse: Hope you like it.
  20. Very, very beautiful looking village scenery. I can't wait too see what the castle will look like!
  21. Wow! Great designs RoxYourBlox. You really have imagination, and a lots of patience to work with these geometry in LDD.
  22. An amazing creation gearcs! The architecture with all those details looks stunning, and the feel of the scene is so surreal. Remarkable stuff.
  23. Really impressive! I like the architecture and the overall look a lot. Nice piece of art!
  24. I don't know what to suggest, but I just wanted to express my admiration for your town center. Very, very cool stuff you got there!
  25. Your ferry is very cute frogstudio. I love it!
