I made both the Lion Force and the Vehicle one, and all parts were detachable. I recall they were good, but I was about 10 at the time so they may have been horrid. :-P Kids are so lucky today with cheap photography. :'-(

That is truly beautiful work.*wub* One day I hope to make a ship that good. That rigging is stunnning and has some smart piece usage. While the bird_view picture was loading it looked like a professionally made non-Lego model. I look forward to seeing more from you!

Welcome to Eurobricks! I assume by your name and avatar that Thumb Wars has left a big impression on you! :-P
-
You don't see mecha built like that much these days. When I was a boy I built a Voltron like that. I like it.... aside from the name! How posable is he? That is a prety serious gun too! :-D

Cool! *wub* I love it, but I think it needs a bucket at the bottom. :-P (That was a joke!) The dock is really cool, but I do find it a bit freaky how you have names for the fish, but not the fisherman... I love cross section scenes like this, but I haven't done one myself for a while.

Two questions; 1. Does it have to be a new creation? 2. Can it have room for more than one or two minifigs?
-
Now you tell me! :-| I just went and I swear that I cleaned every hair. Should I go back and un-wipe my butt now? :-X

Ohhhh, searching. I was getting carried away with the whole kicking Mr Mason thing. :-$ I did attempt to open the treasure chest, but it didn't seem to give at first. If you and perhaps Pete help me we should have a better chance.
-
I've been watching out for this myself. :-D There has been a lot of growth over the last six months. *sweet*

Hmmm. It is starting to look like the US get the lower numbers. 8-| Thanks everyone for posting! *sweet*

Not at all, I just said that the parts are hard to re-use. I like it as a model, just like I still like my 7893, but I am a bit limited with space so I really shouldn't buy another one as I don't want to add more hard to use parts to my collection. I am more interested in the smaller planes promised at this stage. Even so, when the Vikings came out I said the same, and I bought them all! :-$

OK Capt'n. I'll stick to his testicles. Nothing life threatening there! :-P Err... begging your pardon Capt'n but how long have we known Mr Mason anyway. I'm a bit hazy myself at the moment.
-
I never bought the airport as I thought it was too small for the plane! :-D I think I wanted the plane as someone posted pictures of it with Clones in it... ...and I thought it looked so funny I had to have it! :-|
-
Sad to say I agree. It is hard to use an 8 wide tube, especially the nose and tail pieces. The wing is even worse. I often regret buying mine.
-
Great find *yoda* ! Thanks! I think it is the same nose, wing and tail as the last plane, the same plane that I am struggling to find a good use for because it really is too big. I think I will just convert the one I have! X-D Does this mean someone has scanned the whole retail catalog, or is it just the cover?

Ahh, but you may have noticed that I am too much of a "Self Servicer" to do that! :-$ If a competition says 8x8, I go for 8x8 and only allow about half a stud of overlap! :-| My attitude is that liberty is only good if it is liberty for all. For that reason I prefer to be a "Self Servicer", even if I lose because of it! After all, winning isn't the only point of it all; any excuse to play with Lego is good for me. :-D (Hey! I have to type "Self Servicer" now? But I liked that shortcut! )

I can't see any difference having a restriction like weight, to an accepted restriction like "must be built on a 8x8 plate". If anything, weight is less restrictive, especially if a weight is chosen that is about the same as a 1000 part set. While it certainly does limit options, it also makes the build more of a challenge, not just to win the contest, but to yourself. I like to try and think outside of the box, and restrictions force you to do so. But it's all a matter of opinion. :-)

7873 Airplane (In packet of Sniggles) 6163 A World of LEGO Mosaic 8105 Iron Condor 6163 and 8105 were about 30% off (K-Mart in Australia). *sweet* Mosaic sets in Australia seem to be not selling well. :'-(

Indeed! Happy Birthday blocky one!

This is the best stop motion ive seen.

I think it's really cool.... but I find the ending very odd. *wacko* I think I'm going to have nightmares now. -
Ooops. :-$ That's what I get for looking at the last post only. :-| I would have recognised that photo. It was one of my parole conditions.
-
Aye aye Capt'n. Kicking as ordered! *wub* I can start on Mr Mason if you want. His book collection freaks me out. *wacko*
-
Cool. Are you going to post this in the Fire Engine competition? You won't beat mine, but there's no harm in trying. ;-) (You really should re-size the images first though...)
-
I wouldn't worry too much; it isn't my call. If any dents appear in our hull I might have a change of attitude but I'll be sure to give you time to get in first. :-D As for the bumpers, we'll see. My bets are on the storm.

Yay! Hip Hip Hurrah! *sweet*
