Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
Agent Kallus replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Couldn't care less surely? The thing is that with marvel the vehicles aren't ever really the focus. I mean excluding batman it applies to most superheroes really, especially if you consider the Hulkbuster to just be a big ironman suit and not its own vehicle, I mean the 2 guardians spaceships too. Shield has its vehicles but only quinjet and the helicarrier are anything important and even then I wouldn't call the quinjet an iconic look. Was the talon fighter ever driven by T'challa? Was it ever the focus of a major action scene? Ever named on screen? Ever mentioned properly? Edit: it was more prominent than I remembered but still a Ninjago city styled Wakanda with the lab, minihangwr, waterfall arena, mines underneath, throne room ect would be a way better Black panther d2c -
DC Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

At least one DC set for next year confirmed - but it's technic. A technic batcycle to go with the car. -
Bit the bullet and bought the justifier. It was 20% off but still felt a little overpriced but with incoming price increases I thought I might not see it go any lower.

Mando S3 sets said to be may releases. And Mando season 3 itself is said to be a February 2023 release. So I'd guess no major spoilers for the last few EPs but it might include something like the at-st raider that was from a middle episode. -

Yeah I got rid of the gap on mine, just take out the the 2 1x2 with rails and let the x-wing canopy nestle further in. I also modified the interior so it would hold more troops. My biggest disappointment with it is that they haven't give the cannons on the sides enough friction so they the d to drop down. But that should be fixable but you might need to add parts where as all the mods I did were just removing parts. -

The set name Hulkbuster: battle of Wakanda, makes me think there be a lot more to it than just the Hulkbuster itself. A battle of Wakanda set, where the Hulkbuster is the biggest build but not the only one. I hope it includes vision. Plus I wouldn't be surprised if it includes a cull obsidian big fig. It is a shame that the infinity saga sets of this wave are remakes I'd rather see something new perhaps a Thor 1 set with Sif and Odin or if they want to Inifity war why not do the titan battle ( well the figs might overlap a lot with the gotg3 figs). -
Any idea what the baddies are for thiscire wave? I'm hoping they get some more Interesting side builds this time.

Minifig compatible for 500 makes a little bit of sense ( but it's still a grey field with non-iconic spaceship) maybe even mircofig scaled for 350 but it's supposedly not minifig or mircofig scaled. Could it be a giant scales Ironman suit ( I wouldn't personally call it a vehicle but I guess they could have) or has that also been deconfirmed? Telling us what it isn't is a very slow way of doing this... -

A vehicle is a machine that moves to transport people and cargo so not an animal or time corridor ( if it moved in time with them sure but it was more like a catapult that launched them out across time), every logical assumption has been deconfirmed but are all the leaks involved trustworthy? Maybe one of them deconfirmed the actual thing. My best vehicle guess is a endgame final battle diorama that is dominated by a sanctuary 2 but honestly that still makes no sense for 500. Before the vehicle clue I was gonna guess a tesseract with scenes hidden inside it ala the Mario question block. -

He means that with 2 sets you have two lightsabers ( and a spare Mace) and Mace only needs one. -

I'd count the hulk buster as a vehicle but that's coming as a separate set. Honestly my main hopes for the this set were a DC mbs or failing that an X-mansion. I have started buying bigger sets recently but I don't think I even need to worry about this one tempting me. Which is good because I'm still after the castle and the bugle and I think I want the Razor Crest too. -
Got an AT-TE from Lego shop Bristol. No close blister packs as expected but if they had had any I would've snagged a couple. The AT-TE itself I haven't finished building but knowing that there's 6 bags of parts, compared to the 18 of the similarly priced monkie kid set I bought recently, hurt.

I am sure America is a large share of Lego's market but I think you underestimate the interest in the greco-roman era. Even if America doesn't care ( and i think they do) most places have plenty of people who do. Lego made and sold the Colosseum. If you had called any of the other civilizations I'd mentioned niche ( except ancient Egypt of course) I'd probably have agreed but Rome and ancient Greece? Percy Jackson sold well enough and was written by an American, what about Hercules? Gladiator? And I seem to remember the Vikings being enemies of the Anglo-Saxons, so whilst they are ,yes, connected and do share roots and did later somewhat converge. I don't see why you are conflating them. And if Vikings touch on Anglo-Saxon connects so should the Romans and indeed the Celts . Anyway what connects Ninja to Saxons? Nothing? Yeah, so your 'logic' is holding up like cardboard in a thunderstorm. I think the pop culture zeitgeist is the main factor any way but I think a Roman set would sell about as well as a Viking one, especially if there was a gladiatorial arena or the Olympians. Greco-roman sets have reached the voting stage previously. And there are more than 10,000 non-American ideas users anyway. 'i causam meam consedisset' -

Honestly I'd rathe less massable pack, with named character they might be easier to get hold of. Now I'm trying to be vaguely realistic here so I didn't want to go over board with new prints and figures but here goes. Endor Heroes pack : Wicket, Logray (new version), Endor Leia (same as in the diorama set) - build of a glider thing and a mini catapult. Imperial Inquisition pack : Purgetrooper (new) x2, Reeva. - build is torue bed, and interrorrgation table and a probe droid. Kaller chase pack : Caleb Dume (new), republic crosshair (new), Hunter (using a recoloured jungle Lloyd hair with bandana) - build of a small snowy tree for Caleb to fall out of. Tatooine criminals pack : Gamouren guard, pyke solider (new), Santo./Black K (new) - build of a turret on a speeder and a damaged mos espa market stand. Coursant people pack : Thire (RotS) (NEW), c-3po, Obi-Wan (RotS) - build is a neon sign and speeder. Jedi Temple pack: Temple Gaurd (new) x2, Yoda - build is a libary computer section with stautette bust. Disguise mission pack : Mando (tank trooper) (new), Migs (tank trooper) (new), shore trooper - build is computer terminal and lunch table. 501st suppentary pack : 322nd trooper, 501st jettrooper, jesse (new) build is a holotable -

I remember those horse aliens in a 3d render Lego animation made people think that they were coming but they never did. But people are saying all this about no sequel sets, but what about no spinoff movie sets! Rogue one and Solo deserve more, especially with rogue one polling as the most popular 'disney era' star wars film among fans, and though it's mostly only adult fans that answer polls Lego do alot of stuff aimed at adults... So more rogue please and I'd like more solo stuff too . -

I would've out that the other way around, seeing as I own a fighter tank and I'm trying to get a P1 clone pack but they're rarely available, I've never seen them in stock in store or online. -

I'm hoping that's the Viking helmet from the sanctum becomes available, along with the Ninjago crystalised general torso and legs, more farm animals would be great too as would the newer Monkie Kid parts. -

Just thought I'd put these here for reference though the BF 2 officer clone isn't called a commander so perhaps it;s not him? but they easily could've have him a commander without knowing. It;s probably more likely him than Appo or Vaughn. -

Ohh I hope we get frog lady some how, I feared she might the too obscure levels as some other characters, but I love frog lady. Ahsoka would be nice to get too but less interesting choice as she is bound to appear eventually. -
VIKING VILLAGE Ideas set via Target vote
Agent Kallus replied to jtooker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
It'd be awesome if they made this into a line of sets, I'm not thinking a line of Viking sets ( I'd still like that though) but a line of historical settlements. Greek port, Roman Villa, Mayan city, Saxon village, Hunnic encampment, moorish town, ancient Egyptian village , Celtic village, Napoleonic era fortress ( make it a coastal one with some pirates as an enemy faction), a Chandra Gupta era Indian settlement, a Carthaginian ( really running out of words for village) place, and etc. They could vary in size and scope but all include mostly civilians with a few soilders and a few enemies to fight. -

0 correct, but I much rather a clear be than a 4+ set anyway I was just trying to rein in my desires. Mando season 3 makes sense but I hope we do still get something for tales of the Jedi. -

I wouldn't be surprised if they include a mix of both. The lighthouse has another one, anyhow they have recently changed policy on this. Plus they've used loopholes before like with Doctor Who they put the new parts ( hair and Sonic screwdriver) in the dimensions pack first and then reused them for ideas. Also what new part is in the sonic set? The head isn't new it was in the dimensions pack.
