Apparently fabuland 2 almost happened, but between the choice of Fabuland 2 or Belville TLG (I think they were called TLC back then) went with Belville.

Now this I'm not so sure on but I think I remember reading that the Collectable Minifigure series Sam Cap only came with those wings because they could only put so many parts in a CMF and brick built wings would have passed that limit, so maybe TLG sees the brick built ones as the superior option? But we may never find out all the reasons behind their choices. No I liked the movie too. I even said Top 5 MCU films after first watching it , I think that was probably recency bais but I still think it's a great film. I mean the plot and villain were kinda weak narratively speaking but it made up for that by the sheer amount of fun it was. Monsterous space kitten escape plan will not be beaten I reckon ) However I also had not intention to buy the Hoopty, though TBH I was hoping Kamala would come to the magazine (or even that they make her ( superior) show outfit for the CMF. I already had the Captain Marvel from the magazine and the Monica from the first CMF. (Side note every time someone says Captain Marvel I think of the Fawcett/DC character first ( and no it makes not sense to call him Shazam because then he couldn't say his name without activating his transformation back into Billy) but his Movie was Worse than the Marvel one).

These are great. Much better the the current bigfigs. I'm not usually one for mutilation of my Lego (closest I've come is removing print with a rubber[Eraser] other than the accidental snapping of arms) but I have a couple of these figs and I might just have to try your technique.

Excellent . TBH the Dummy has been a figure that I'd like to add to my collection for a while but that desire has now increased as a direct result of this thread ( maybe one day I'll build the wedding IRL )

I might not be daredevil but I'll defend Murdoch. - Firstly reporting turtle wouldn't be unjustified (provided that he actually is turtle) since he's evidently already committed banable offenses. - Secondly riddler hasn't been banned yet so we have no victim. - Thirdly if needs be we can pull a Spartacus movement. - Fourthly the Mods are judge jury and executioner so this is in their hands. - Fifthly if we are gonna protest the banning of a user (which I'm not going to) it should be @VaderFan2187 but that ship has sailed.

Lego Minecraft Goat on Instagram was listing some cancelled sets, interestingly enough one of them was a Ninjago blister pack minifig sets with Island Lloyd, 2 keepers and Twitchy Tim.

They used to be but not anymore, now they're made in the same factories as everything else, with the exact same plastic mix. Hence why we are now seeing more CMF parts appear elsewhere ( like the Troubadour's parts (sans legs) in the lions Knight's castle)

I think in the moulded V brick built creatures debate my preference (like others I'm sure) tends to be based on the size of the creature. For example horses and anything smaller: moulded, but big dragons I'd actually much rather be brick built. Things bigger than an elephant when moulded end up not feeling much like Lego to me.

I mean Ninjago dragons have a variety of sizes from a polybag to a 1716 part behemoth. This year's Young dragon Riyu set is about the same size as some of the HTTYD dragons.

The head(?) shape is better than anything TLG have produced for a Ywing, pretty spot on! The colour scheme reminds of the behind the scenes process with the models and concept art.
