Im working on a STS Crane. Ive got it stable so it aint wobbly as hell . (my gf thoght it was good enough to hang our laundry on it.. WTF!) Working out the driving of the carridge for the boom right now. The Cable spools is down by the legs on the real deal. but i will put them up at the end/back of the boom to make sure stoff dont screw up. I need to order more liftarms and panels to get everything in the colors i want and not 15 different. (this is being made now and then) oh yes. it also have wheels and driving for the whole thing at the base inside the leg structure. Think its about 1.5m tall and 1.8m long

I dont have any pictures when building the top part but that was done first. then sitting for like a month And then i got some inspiration to continue . I was thinking of a gearbox at first, but as i was thinking of displaying it at an exhibition i wanted motors to controll the functions so i can do it with a IR controller. Cockpit design tryout Torpedo build finished First try of the sinkbomb holder was okey. just needed to wait for the rest of the parts. The complete build started with the slaughter of my KA-50 Helicopter -

Yes. was thinking the same. but our swedish HKP4 is very dark so it fit very well. My idea to use some black parts was to get some kind of difference and just not a grey thick sausage looking thing :) Might be so :P at least i can give it a try Thank you very much. its my second helicopter so cant say im that used to it :P -

MOC - Reachstacker terminal truck
mortil replied to mortil's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Cool. Hope you post pictures of it later :) If you want closeup pics of anything just tell me. :) -
Started building a Reachstacker that should be able to lift and hold the container on the Mack Anthem truck. We try to build a small CB in technic that we named The Harbour/Terminal so will need to build portal crane and ship loading cranes as well. but for now its the reachstacker tinkerd around with the lifting device for a long time (like a week or so) Most functions is Sbrick. the ones that isnt is going to be. It is expandable to the double width of the Mack container Chassie is coming along nice and solid. * Me and a friend tried to load/unload the Mack :) Built in the rear end. will keep it on the shelf for a while to see what changes i will make. (yes panels will be changed on the arm to yellow i think. Link to video of the extension of the arm https://onedrive.live.com/embed?cid=5C34D8B870960AD3&resid=5C34D8B870960AD3!5808&authkey=AM6q1K4NjnleV8E" width="320" height="180" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" allowfullscreen

mortil replied to Ctan's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Im working on a grenade launcher tank that can shoot. the whole mechanism will be able to tilt down in to the big turntable. got most of the turntable done with firing and stuff. it was a bit problematic to get it to fit :P -
