  1. It seems you can build alot of cool SW mocs out of that set! Love the shaping of the wings.
  2. This looks pretty cool! The debris is recognizeable with just the right amount of "flame-age". Honestly, though, I would've liked to see you build a new ship rather than reusing your last build. Still looks good, though.
  3. Thanks so much for that comment, Christopher! It's nice to hear that someone actually appreciates what I'm trying to do at this scale Functionality/playabilty-wise with these.
  4. Thanks! His phase I helmet has the antenna higher than his phase II helmet. I moved it up anyway and it looks better.
  5. Thanks! Cody is my favorite clone as well. I'm actually trying to combine the PT and CW look in one (check out Sideshow Collectibles Cody on Rebelscum.com), so, hopefully, he doesn't look TOO weird. Thanks, Doc! My biggest challenge with these figs is getting the face/head to look like the "real" thing. I've been wanting to build Stormtroopers and Clones at this scale for a while, but just couldn't come up with a design I was happy with. the helmet is literally months in the making, and to hear that it's "recognizable" makes me REALLY happy!
  6. I've never posted a WIP before, but I'm pretty excited about the design of Cody (and, subsequently, Rex) that I wanted to post this and see what you all think! The finished scene will be Cody and Rex shooting the crap out of some Battle Droids. Rex is half-way finished. If you can't tell, these guys will be wearing Phase II armor. Any and all suggestions/ideas (especially with the helmet) are welcome. Okay, here's rex! I'm pretty happy with how he looks. BUT, because this is a work in progress, I'm open to ideas, especially in regards to his pauldron. I think this will be my last WIP post until I finish the moc. Thanks to some of your suggestions, and suggestions over on Flickr, I changed Rex's pauldron design and helmet design (as well as Cody's helmet). This is also the first time I've used custom stickers in a build. Thanks to Brickdoctor for the minifig arms-as-rebreathers idea.
  7. I'm pretty sure if you build a scene that someone else has built, it won't be a problem. The rules are VERY open, but I'll let A.C. confirm since this is his project.
  8. Thanks, Doc! Everyone seems to like Chewie, although I think he's the weakest design of the bunch.
  9. Jeez! Already? I'm guessing that you're building "the cave" scene. Can't wait!
  10. Hehe. Well, I figured since she's a woman and more delicate, she shouldn't have a protruding nose like the men. Thanks! Well, my reference was a scene in ANH where Han leans against Chewie and says "where did you dig up that old fosssil?" and his head rests on Chewies chest. He's a tall dude!
  11. It started as part of A.C. Pin's Community Build. In order to make the deadline, I built half of the scene, but I planned on finishing it. And I did! If anyone remembers, this is the half I posted. I have since changed the dark gray tiles to brown and raised the walls up by 6 bricks. The new half (duh) with Leia and Chewie! As with the Hasbro toy set that I based this on, the 2 halves come apart and can be reattached like this, a more movie-accurate set-up! The OT gang!
  12. I had GREAT time with the first CB (and am finishing the second half of my Trash Compactor scene right now), so definately count me in for this one!
  13. This is really cool and pretty accurate! I love the parts usage for the cockpit and back air foils.
  14. Very nice work, Masked! I love the burning Geonosians, the wall, and all the action. What I don't like is the lack of anything in the front. My solution would be to add some flaming/burnt Geo's over all that brown.
  15. Very nice work, Doc! Love the scale and the parts/techniques you used for the Arc 170, especially the back and the cannons on the wings. I like the Vulture droid, although I think it's a bit too big and out-of-scale if I remember the 2 ships in comparison in ROTS. I also like that you included the hangar and can't wait to see your "plain" clone troops!
  16. Okay, that's just a weird build, BUT very funny and entertaining!
  17. I remember checking out your little vig with Obi-Wan deactivating the tractor beam from before and loving it! Can't wait to see it connected with the rest of your DS layout.
  18. Very nice work, as always! I don't remember this ship, but who cares. It look really cool and I like the dome piece for the cockpit.
  19. DUDE! Yes, this is seriously funny (and very original)!
  20. WOW! This is one of the most amazing UCS mocs I've ever seen! I love that you fortified it so it could stand on it's own. The legs and the shaping are perfect and I love the seats in the interior.
  21. Beautiful work on both of these, especially the crazy techniques used on the first one! Can't wait to see more!
  22. WOW, Doc! This is impressive...MOST impressive! The SNOT work is brilliant, especially in the wings and I love the attention to detail in the back portion of the body. I would say the only week parts would be the cannons under the cockpit and the cockpit window itself. Otherwise, if this was a real set, I would totally buy one.
  23. AC said in the CB post, that, even if you don't have your build done by the deadline, just post it as soon as you can. That goes for any late builders. Dude! I totally remember playing that game in the arcade as a kid (yes, I'm THAT old)!
  24. I know. I meant, if he decides to revisit this with more parts.
