  1. Absolutely beautiful work! It's a shame that all that work and detail sits in the background all fuzzy. Your Bat signal idea is brilliant and congrats on being blogged on FBTB!
  2. Beautiful work here! I love the Indy movies and this is a fairly accurate depiction of the scene (minus the stone walls with glyphs carved into them, of course). That micro city looks great!
  3. I build mostly Star Wars mocs, but, sometimes I get ideas outside that galaxy far far away. For those not familiar, I came up with a figure scale called Moodland Scale which is bigger and more articulated than Miniland. I also plan on building a Spiderman fig at this scale shortly.
  4. Now THAT is a Wampa cave scene! Great studless look and awesome lighting on the second pic!
  5. Nice to see this finally finished! I would LOVE to see that Yoda hut as an official set.
  6. I can see why this has gotten so many comments and attention: in short, this is one of the best Lego Primes I've ever seen! I love the smoothness of it and how you even included the Matrix. Great work!
  7. Thanks, man! I think your's is probably one of the nicest comments I've gotten about this build because I really struggled to combine several different robot and alt modes to create a seriously badass look. Thanks! Oh, and I definately plan on building Starscream at some point, too. Thanks, man! Your Prime is awesome as well and I will comment on it right...about...NOW!
  8. Stability issues aside, this is one beautiful airship, man! In particular, i love the "cannon bubbles" on the wings, the missile belts on top and the cockpits. Great work all around!
  9. This is a really well-made little scene! As others have stated, the look of the garbage is amazing and the techniques used to build the Prawns are great. How about making the scene with the giant mech/suit. That would be quite a cool moc.
  10. Very cool design! I love the cockpit and "snokestacks" in the middle. I agree that the feet could be bigger/wider. Maybe give them some articulated "toes".
  11. Thanks! I'm glad your son likes this. Maybe he'll be inspired to build his own? This WAS difficult to build, which is why I studied ALOT of different photos of various Megatron toys. Thanks, Cero! I wasn't sure if anyone over on the SW forum would see this build over here.
  12. Very nice work here, man! Love all the details and overall shape. Am I mistaken in thinking this could be Moodland scale?
  13. Even with limited pieces, this is very nicely done! As other have stated, the lighting definately captures the look and mood of the film. I'd like to see more pics, though. It's actually easier to post pics on here from a Brickshelf account rather than Flickr FYI.
  14. You're right! I actually forgot to mention that I studied that fig and alt mode for design ideas, as well.
  15. Oh no, Doc! I think you've finally gone to the Clonetar...I mean Dark Side! I love the SNOT work here (as per most of your builds). That spire thing is pretty cool too.
  16. Thanks, man!
  17. After seeing Bricked One's G1 Optimus (which is awesome!) on the front page, I remembered that I built a Transformer a few months ago: Megatron (Custom Version): I mostly build Star Wars mocs (as most of you over in the SW forum know), but, ocassionally, I build in other themes. I wanted to capture the look of the classic G1 Megatron (the series I grew up with) but also combining a bit of Bay's look as well as the War for Cybertron Meggy to give him a futuristic/Cybertronian alt mode. "What do I spy with my evil eye?"
  18. Thanks, man! I'll never get tired of hearing that!
  19. You're welcome! I can't wait to see what you build.
  20. Definately Moodland (or action figure) scale! It allows for alot more detail and the ability to portray the character's look. These micro figs are alot of fun and way easier to build though.
  21. If you check out my "How-to" post, these figs are EXTREMELY poseable, which is one of the best things about the design.
  22. Thanks! I actually tried putting minifig heads on the bodies and they looked good, but I felt it defeated the idea and look of brick-built figs, if you know what I mean.
  23. Hhhmmm. Is this supposed to be micro or minifig scale because I don't see any figs? As far as shakey hands, get a tripod OR set your piece on a table and set your camera on the same table.
  24. Really cool idea and great build! I absolutely love those engines!
