  1. Thanks! I might have to take a pic of that and post it here just for you guys!
  2. Thanks, and thanks for blogging this! I originally had the tail on a hinge, but, because it's the only thing keeping this guy from falling backwards, making it move seemed pointless. I actually redesigned and rebuilt the tail last night to make it fatter and will add a pic sometime today.
  3. Very nice work here! The color and details are right on and those legs look great! I love whatever those ball parts you used on the joints are, also. Too bad you need a clear stand to prop it up, though...
  4. Thanks! Now that you say that, the tail is a bit thin. I think a cone piece may be a bit thick, but I could definately add some more plates to fatten that part a bit. Thanks for the feedback! Thanks! I always aim to please. I actually believe this is the very FIRST micro-scale Lego Rancor, as I couldn't find any others online. Like I said in my last comment, I will work to fatten up the tail before I post this on Mocpages tomorrow.
  5. Like your other entries, this is purely awesome! I'm in love with the technique you used to curve the front end.
  6. Here's my first entry, Luke VS The Rancor (Micro-Mood Scale)! My link
  7. This community build was the perfect chance for me to revisit a classic scene, but I didn't want to just build a V2 of my Minifig-scale Rancor, so I decide to go smaller! As with all my builds, I try to present as accurate and detailed a model as possible. I'll be uploading a complete gallery of pics to Mocpages tomorrow, although, most of the cool shots are here! A size comparison: Please let me know what you think! UPDATE! Thanks to suggestions from fallenangel309 and Hollander, I redesigned and rebuilt the tail. I think it's much more accurate to the "real" thing now. Thanks, guys!
  8. Nice work, as always, sir! I'm also not too familiar with KOTR, but I've seen the Ebon Hawk before and both ships look very accurate!
  9. Very cool work! Like the others, I also love the nose technique. Also like the way you did the mouth and hands. The body is a bit too blocky and studded for my tastes, though (maybe a v2 in the future?)
  10. Perfect depiction of a great scene! As previously stated, the lighting really makes this shot. I love how, at first, this shot looks simple, but the more you study it, the more little details you pick out. Nice!
  11. Very cool little scene! I love how you used the cheese slopes to depict the details of the bunker. The landing pad and shuttle look pretty good as well. I'd say the AT-AT is the only thing that needs some work. I would try a couple different techniques with bricks with studs on all sides for the head. Instead of making the legs studs-forward, turn them to the side and use 1x4 tiles instead or hinge plates. Remember, the AT-AT's legs are actually quite thin from a front view. Hope that helps a bit.
  12. Are you building in Moodland scale again?
  13. Thanks! Actually, you're right, the legs are slightly different. I had to use minifig telescope pieces in the "hydraulics" area instead of lightsaber handles. The telescopes are slightly longer and, therefore, the walker stands a bit taller than my original design. Good eye!
  14. Thanks! I'm pretty sure that ANY SW vehicle probably looks cooler in black. You know the kids nowadays and their fancy Text-Speak, abbreviating this and that! Oh, and my next build will almost definately be from our much beloved OT!
  15. Thanks! And thanks for blogging me! I actually tried to keep the dark red at a minimum, but I love the dark red against black color scheme! Oh, ILI's means "I like It"s.
  16. "Oh goodness gracious me!" This is great, man! I'm pretty sure I've never seen a moc of this. Awesome work!
  17. Thanks, man! I'll be posting it on MP tomorrow.
  18. As promised, I built a Shadow Ops version of my Moodland-scale AT-RT complete with Shadow Trooper! Here it is compared to my 212th Battallion walker. Unfortunately, I had to take this pic in lower light so that the orange wouldn't be completely washed out! Action Pose! As far as I could see online, there aren't any "official" images of a Shadow Ops AT-RT, so I based the look off of the Utapau Shadow Trooper.
  19. You already know you can count ME in!
  20. Very odd, but cool design! I love the H.R. Geiger-ish look and feel to this.
  21. Thanks! That's good to know.
  22. Hey, Eric! Welcome to the Forums, man. As I said on Mocpages, this is one of the best minifig-scale TIE Advanced mocs I've ever seen! Can't wait to see what you do next.
  23. Beautiful SNOT work! I love the base, especially how you made the doors.
