  1. Nice job, here! I really like the technique you used for the archway. If you're planning on revisiting this when you have more bricks, I have a few suggestions: add plates to the bottom of Vader's feet to make him the proper height in comparison to Antilles. Add white tiles to the floor. Take the pic from a side view rather than a 3/4 view. Other than that, this looks good.
  2. Impressive. MOST impressive! I love how you achieved the roundness of the room and the floor. Also, I don't know what parts you used for those columns, but they're PERFECT here!
  3. HAHA! Me too, Doc!
  4. VERY nice work, Masked! I love the sleek look of the Vader scene and the corridors/panels in the Leia scene. The only thing I DON'T like is the 2 connected. If you look at the layout of the scenes in the movie, the Leia scene is actually in a side room beside the main corridor of the Vader scene, so, technically, these wouldn't be connected the way you did, rather, the Leia part would be more behind the other. Also the Vader scene is WAY smaller than the other, so connecting them looks odd. Otherwise, this is a great entry for the community build!
  5. Thanks, man! I actually had to "dumb down" the look of the garbage to get it to resemble the trash in the movie.
  6. I can't remember this from the show, but it's a great looking little ship! As far as not feeling like building, when I feel that way, I try changing the scale that I'm building in. Try midi-scale again or even minifig scale if you're bored.
  7. Thanks, Christopher! As with all my SW mocs, I use a TON of reference pics which I did for the Stormtrooper armor design as well as this whole half of the scene. Thanks! Can't wait to see what you come up with.
  8. Thanks, man, I mean, Mr Man!
  9. Huh! I'm pretty surprised more members haven't commented on this...
  10. The turrets are lookin pretty cool!
  11. NIIIIIIICE! My mouth is watering with anticipation!
  12. Thanks, Doc! The garbage actually took me more time and effort to build than the figs.
  13. WOW! This kid's got skills! I love the whole thing, especially the Dewbacks and the Landspeeder.
  14. Thanks! This is actually the first half of a 2-part set. I plan on building the other half with Leia and Chewie, I just wanted to post this part before the deadline.
  15. Okay, my entry is done! Here's the link: My link
  16. This is My Moodland-Scale entry for A.C. Pin's SW community build! Having watched all the Original Trilogy (and the Prequals)in theatres and growing up with the old movies, I HAD to build something for this! I actually found that I made the garbage more complex than in the movie, but I just couldn't dumb-down the details. I actually built the ground/water so I could fit my figs in it without cutting off their lower legs. Thanks to A.C. Pin for putting this awesome idea together and I can't wait for the Empire Strikes Back!
  17. I'd say for a solution to make the head rounder, use hinge plates. Check out pics of Lego's UCS Death Star II to see what I mean.
  18. This is a very original (and somewhat funny) build! I think R2's head could use a little more "rounding" though.
  19. There are tan cheesers, actually. I was just talkin bout flat tan tiles. Tan is kind of a rare color unless you special-order parts (which I've done before).
  20. NICE! I definately like the 2nd one better. Now, if you could just put some tan tiles on those "steps"...
  21. Really really cool, man! I love how those simple grass pieces can add so much to the "Endor Look". That tree came out pretty cool too.
  22. DUDE! YES! Once again, I commend you on using a seldom-seen or remembered toy theme from when I was a kid (yeas, I'm that old). Seeing all of this together just makes me drool...
  23. Thanks! HAHAHAA! I doubt that! "Latitudinal variations"! Now THAT'S a band name!
  24. Like I said on Flickr, it's nice to see this finished! The sand dune "ripples" are nicely reproduced with those slope pieces. And, my, that's a nice collection of dewbacks you have.
