  1. VERY nice! I love the technique you used to make the "Imperial Wallpaper" above the doorway.
  2. I'm hard at work on my build, but, because my build will be in Moodland (or Miniland) scale it'll probably take me a couple weeks. It'll take place in a certain trash compactor...
  3. Yeah, they're supposed to be propellors. I thought about using steering wheel pieces at first, but didn't have enough for all the speeders, so I chose T-pieces.
  4. Thanks, and follow your dreams!
  5. Thanks! I see what you mean about the smoke plumes. I originally made the exhaust parts taller, but thought it made the walkers look a bit out-of-proportion. If I could afford more ice cream pieces I probably would make the smoke taller, though.
  6. Really cool scene! I agree with the others that the tree is very well-designed!
  7. HAHAHAA! Nice one, man!
  8. Thanks! My next post will be more of my figures in a scene for the Ep IV Community Build. Thanks! You can check out my SW Steampunk gallery here: My link
  9. Thanks, Doc! I agree, the speeders are a bit too big, but I wanted them to have as much detail as possible. Plus, I figure, since they're SP versions rather than the "real thing", I could get away with making them a little bigger. Thanks, man!
  10. This moc was blogged on FBTB like 10 minutes after I posted it! I was shocked. If you look closely, you can see furnaces in the walkers' cabooses The walkers are based on my minifig-scale Steampunk AT-AT:
  11. I don't remember this on the 'Pages, so I'm glad you reposted it here! Awesome scene with lots of action (which is how I like it)! I'm always impressed with your various takes on the AT-RT and this is no exception! On a side note, I've been trying to get on the Classic SW staff lounge to talk about the new background, but I forgot the password to get on...
  12. I think these are great! I don't see enough builders working in "action figure" scale, as I call it! I especially like your Thrawn, even though I've never followed the books.
  13. This is an awesome build, and a nice way to build "within the SW universe", but still expand on a "real" scene in a creative way! Love the detailing of the floor and window, especially!
  14. Nice! I don't think I've seen many mini TIEs with a steering wheel as the cockpit window. Can't wait to see the rest of the scene.
  15. I literally drooled on my keyboard staring at this amazing build! Beautifully recreated!
  16. I'm sure as long as you build something cool from Ep IV (as I know you will), size matters not!
  17. Well, for your first moc, this is pretty cool! I like all the structures you've built. The tower/cannon is well done and is obviously the focal point. My advice would be to try to build recognizeable structures for the side buildings like walls, windows, etc rather than just piling on pieces, which look cool, but don't look like people inhabit them. Also, maybe add some micro-scale figs (which would be like 2 rounded plates). Hope that helps and can't wait to see what you build next!
  18. Thanks! It's actually light gray. It just looks white under the spotlights I use.
  19. This is an awesome ship! I love all the greebly goodness on the wings and hull and it really does have the look of a "real" ship. I honestly can't pick out a favorite part, and this is FAR from ugly, dude.
  20. This is a pretty cool idea, A.C., and a good way to see who's paying attention/interested around here! I'm an Original Trilogy fan all the way, and definately plan to crank something out (not sure what scale yet). So, count me in!
  21. Awesome work here! I like that each part truly resembles and recreates several scenes from the movie. My favorite would have to be the war room.
  22. Very cool entry! I love the odd shaping and parts usage in the wings.
  23. Thanks, man! Yes, your explanation of the joke is perfect. I don't really want to put it into words in case I offend the younger readers (or their parents).
  24. Thanks! There are quite a few parts, especially in the pylons and along the sides of the cockpit that are dark gray. It's kinda hard to see in the pics. I originally was going to add some black hinge plates along the outer ring, but thought it might be too much.
  25. Awesome work, as usual! This looks much better than TLG's design. I especially love the wings/thrusters.
