So, what are Leaf, IP-2 and Zebra?
TeriXeri replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That has such a DragonBall vibe to it, with the font and colors, also the yellow cloud. -

A fantasy theme focused on buildings is a big plus -
That direction sounds great. With the sets literally called Skull Sorcerer Dungeon and Skull Sorcerer Dragon. I don't know much about D&D lore but I wonder if it's like a Skull Lord reference as well : https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Skull_lord

What I get from that post : Alternate Builds : Island Another Building Brick-Built Hull in brown , no large prefabricated parts. White plate sails with black Skull made out of small tiles.

Many newer Metro vehicles in NL are Silver and Red. (Alstom M5 in this case).

I know they aren't replacements for real a Castle theme, I never even considered it as such, but, 2018 and 2019 had even less. I'd personally would love something like 2007-2009 Fantasy or 2010-2011 Humans Castle line , or something truly Classic 80s to Mid 90s, I don't know what other people are looking for. And LEGO putting those shields and silver helmets in the BAM bar is just teasing us

LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
2020 City Police was all the way in the back corner of the Amsterdam Store upstairs, while Bookstore and Chinese New Year were at the front entrance on pedestals. I was there Monday. Keep in mind , Bookstore and Chinese New Year sets won't be found in regular toy shops either. Likely LEGO more shifting toward AFOL and Tourists there, while the City sets can be bought in other shops still. -
LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Except the problem with the brick box here that imo it's still too expensive at full price, 300 parts for €45 and right now no sale since it's LEGO exclusive (at least it seems for now I haven't seen it at any other webshop) Police Station at €50-€60 will happen, if its at €72 already now in my country. (28% off) Not trying to be negative, but with the announcements of a potential Hidden Side Castle, Creator 3-in-1 Pirate Ship, and some other large sets I shift priority away from City for a while until good discounts. But I'll certainly pick up some of the sets later and I just bought the Chinese New Year sets earlier this month -
LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Oh I've been moving my priority away more and more from the 2020 Police Station and I agree the 2017 one is still cheaper then the 2020 over here as well. Not as low as it has been but still €68 for the 2017 one , and the 2020 one is at €72 right now and it's just came out. If the 2020 station happens to drop around to around €50 I'll look at it again but not now. Even the €50 Hidden Side Prison Sounds interesting but I'll wait a while for pictures. -
At least by set names , some Castle/Dungeon type things will come later in 2020. Ninjago getting a "Skull Sorcerer's Dragon" and "Skull Sorcerer's Dungeon" both large sets. Hidden Side gets a "Castle of Mystery" large set. Of course it's very early without pictures but I'm positive.

Still find it interesting that before we even know what LEAF is based on, or what the Pirate Bay looks like, that we already get a Pirate set via Creator and a Castle via Hidden Side Both large sets as well.

Barco is spanish for Boat/Ship, so Barco Pirata is Pirate Ship.

LEGO Hidden Side 2020
TeriXeri replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Castle! Might be my first Hidden Side set if done well. So far I skipped the theme but I wished for a Castle Prison also sounds interesting enough. -
Pirate Ship is listed at age 9+ 1800 gram weight : https://www.libreriarayuela.com/es/objeto/lego-creator-barco-pirata_S110140063 Almost same box size as Temple Fair and 3-in-1 Petshop/Townhouse, slightly thicker box and around 100 grams more.

Seems 2 of the sets are 4+ , the Minisub and the smaller Airport set. The 2018 4+ airport retired. -
LEGO Monkie Kid 2020
TeriXeri replied to Classic_Spaceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Also you can click on the sets themselves to see the size of the package, weight and age . The smallest ~€3.99 set is 15 x 0.65 x 9.5 cm , 20 gram, so definately a small bag the same size as a CMF or Combo-Nexo Power type set. Age range looks like 6+ to 8+ overall. -

LEGO Star Wars 2020 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
TeriXeri replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I can understand LEGO possibly moving to more prequel/OT sets when they have a bit of breathing room, it's sort of how LEGO In-house Space (2007-2013) existed. Also there's a rumor that new movies would be set in an entirely different time (400 years before E1?) -
I once had a youtube video of mine featured on IGN, let's just say that gained like thousands of views in a day compared to the rest. I guess it's one of the "flaws" of IDEAS, technically a lot of weird IDEAS could reach 10000 if featured on such platform, or if for example a big influencer/streamer/youtuber promotes something. On the other hand, it also makes IDEAS more known, and a lot more projects have reached 10k recently compared to let's say the end of 2018, when only 5 projects were up at 10k. But then the question is, would those voters actually buy it, or just vote due to being directed by some popular site/influencer? Of course LEGO should be able to see if a set got like 5000 votes in a day

It's definately a new plate, as the curvature on the 3 x 3 corners have flat edges , which are used in the regular Heart Boxes. LEGO made this part in 2019 for the smaller heart box.

Blue still in stock in Europe and US stores , I usually check other regions to check for retiring soon messages. I hope they realise that blue is a core color for LEGO water and won't just retire it suddenly, also hope they won't replace it with some lighter color (they did that with the green one) The main issue on the website is why they still use a 48x48 picture for the white one.

LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Themed police is almost guaranteed inbetween regular City Police, so maybe a Police Boat theme for 2021 (last one was Prison Island 2016) , which came out 1 year after Deep Sea. -

Roughly translated from : https://zusammengebaut.com/live-ticker-lego-news-toy-fair-2020-87064/ A red car can be loaded into the large passenger plane at the rear. The Research Vessel is very large and darkblue and floats and apparently has waterproof stickers. (wonder if it's the same hull as 2015, or maybe a return of the largest hull from 2007.) Yellow buildings. (I assume for the base).
