  1. Lego themselves have clarified that they put it in that way to "reduce friction". And why would porsche want it to be wrong?
  2. Easy! Since she didn't clarify the amount of each set you can buy, you could buy two or more of each :P
  3. oh boy, you're right i posted in the wrong thread! :( Can some Mod delete the post please?
  4. its already off 50€ on Amazon.de :O Edit: Wrong thread.
  5. My first Technic set was the Backhoe, wich was loaded with pneumatic stuff and even had two pumps. While i also prefer manual pump over pf-pump it makes more sense in a vehicle with suspension to use a powered one. Imagine the Arocs, everything would wobble if the manual pump was on the truck itself. If it was built in one of the outriggers, to get a stable connection to the ground it would be okay i guess.
  6. Well, that much to : "no set on the horizon yet" :D
  7. Wow, this was just shared by Top Gear! Grats man!
  8. Nice, i waited quite some time for this!
  9. Hm, i've noticed this in quite a few sets back in my City-era, but usually they put in a paper saying that part "x" is replaced by part "y".
  10. Ah well, close i guess :). Its a good deal tough, considering that it was with shipment.
  11. I've bought mine as New a few days ago from amazon.de for the same price. Tough i don't know from where you are. I guess GB based on the name :D
  12. Are you sure they're original? The white rims i mean. 2€ is quite cheap.
  13. Looks cool! To me it looks like a vehicle from F-Zero ontop of some wheels i like it.
  14. Sometimes no answer can be an answer, its pretty obvious that they're doing something with it.
  15. Wow, its been that long? Tought they did appear around the unimog time.
  16. Thx! Makes sense atleast for the newbies and younger builders , but i think here in the porsche they could've used more black ones - at least where they are visible, since its a display model and black is rather "neutral" than blue.
  17. I really don't understand why lego even changed the black 3l pins to blue ones in the first hand... . Can someone please explain that to me?
  18. @mobi i think they'll pull it till its fixed. There also were no big announcements regarding its launch on teir social-media sites so i guess they try to fix it before they launch their advertising campaign.
  19. wow. But well, thats good for the overall quality hopefully. I guess they're fixing it and will bring a #2 soon.
  20. Me too. It seems that this follows exactly the trend porsche has been going for a while now. They milk the cow for what it's possible. And Lego gladly jumped on too. I mean i don't blame them for doing it, i blame them for how they did it. This Set is not aimed at AFOL's, the extremely simplified instructions proof that. Its for people that can be impressed by a few moving cylinders or a "Porsche handbag" (seriously?). Fine by me, but calling it a Ultimate... no its not even a "Super Car". Nor does it resemble the features of the real thing in the slightest way. It does have nothing to feed off for people that are actually interested in how far its possible to copy the real thing. And don't even get me started on the "online-content". From what i've seen the offerings of booth physical and online stuff does absolutely not justify such a price tag.
  21. I'll also pass most likely, at least to the official lego price its a no-buy - even as a porsche fan. Lets see how the Ideas Caterham turns out. I'll probably get that one before.
  22. Thank you! The waiting has paid off. I'll definitely wait for a better price at some other store than S@H
