I really loved the McQuarrie Vader and Maul too, but thought that the Rex from 2011 or so and the 1999 throwback in 2009 (Endor Bunker, Mon Calamari cruiser, etc. wave) were the best.

Very nice! The blade shroud/emitter looks a bit bulky but other than that looks very nice... I actually did this same saber a while ago, will upload pics if I can find em. Nicely done anyways

[MOC] Ep VII The Force Awakens - Crashed Star Destroyer on Jakku
strider117 replied to KevFett2011's topic in LEGO Star Wars
wonderful diorama! Absolutely love the sand sculpting (that's a LOT of light tan slopes...) and the crashed TIE is a nice detail. Also like the mini Niima Outpost. Nicely done Kev. -
mine is probably the '09 7676 Gunship. I know the newer one's better but c'mon. It totally beat (most of) the other 2009 sets and it had awesome figs I'm totally with you on that one. Obi-Wan's starfighter is among my favorite ships from the prequels (there are a lot to choose from) and that was a set always at the top of my wish list along with the UCS At-ST.

To wha date will the contest last?

Chrome by a longshot. I always awarded the chrome hilt to only my best jedi and siths, as those hilts were totally awesome. I think I had two Dooku hilts (7752), and one normal hilt for Luke in 6210. So yeah. Chrome for the win.

[MOC] UCS Nebulon-b frigate (by Dranac, feat. onecase))
strider117 replied to Dranac's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Wow! This is a really under-appreciated ship and you've captured the essence of it beautifully. I particularly love the greebling and "pods" on the front tail. Very nice -
This is the best ISD moc I've ever seen. By a longshot. The hangar is just so freaking cool and the detail is over the top. Another great work of yours! Most impressive...

The star wars in me says that the cloaked figure is a Jedi knight entering an abandoned monastery. Probably just me. Excellent build, just lovely to look at. Very well done LBaixinho.

Visually stunning. Reminds me most of a Clone Wars Headhunter and an Ep. III ARC-170

After years of searching, I think I've finally found the Kings and Queens of pedantry.

Lots of people have been upset with TLC's interpretation of the speeder and for good reason. However this model is scaled perfectly to the new figure-- excellent job

Nice!! Reminds me a lot of one of those DK books!! -
This is possibly the best, and definitely my favorite, TLoZ moc I've ever seen. I really am in love with the blue roofs and the rockwork (especially on that 6th picture!!) is just astounding. Hope to see more amazing work like this in the future!

That's wonderful! The SNOT really is an excellent edition to the flow of the moc... nicely done
