Yeah. It's a pretty common race in the SW Canon and Lego hasn't covered it at all. It would be nice to see one of those

[MOC] [WIP] The Command of the AT-AT
strider117 replied to LiLmeFromDaFuture's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It's a rarity to see a motorized moc of this scale, and rightfully so. It would indeed be cumbersome and conspicuous and simply wouldn't work in this model. Based on earlier w.i.p. shots, Lilme's @-@ is beautiful and motors wouldn't add that much. Sure, it would be cool, but I think some of you can agree that the quality and accuracy of the model is more important than functionality. -
Most impressive. Might this be to scale with the UCS TIE?
-
Oh awesome! Yeah I'm pretty pumped for new minifigures in the Rogue One line, that U-wing pilot... Twileks yes for sure. The closest thing I can think of other than Oola or Shaak Ti is the old Kit Fisto, but there definitely needs to be a Twilek mold and maybe a Quarren or (better yet) a Sullustan!

Yes absolutely! There is definitely a sparsity of Sullust sets or even mocs, this is the only battlefront Sullust moc I can find. Seeing some new alliance troopers and stormies would be great

This is absolutely stunning. I think this and dmac's are my favorite minifig/system-scale AT-ATs. I like your interior, that is something you don't always see in elaborate mocs like this. Again, very nice and my only suggestion is to maybe swap the DBG 54200s for DBG 3070s, they just seem to stick out a little too much. It's certainly very minor and the walker is fine the way it is.

Agreed! It would definitely be cool to see more.

Ok, I think we can all agree on how successful the newest Rebellion and Empire battle packs were. They were both based on EA's Star Wars: Battlefront, and I think it would be quite interesting to get some sets, or maybe a whole line, from that game. In other words, do any of you think it is feasible to get some Battlefront sets? It would be a great opportunity for new, better minifigures (Dark troopers, Alderaan guards) or maybe some ships (cough cough interceptor). It's just an idea, but I would love to see what you think

[MOC] Alliance dreadnaught cruiser Stolen Gold
strider117 replied to ProvenceTristram's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Very cool! This ship is actually new to me so it's very cool to see something new. Nicely done -
Looks great! Ending is perfect

I like the idea of a new venator but I have to agree with you on your list, particularly the Y Wing and Naboo Cruiser. There have really never been any (good) Naboo Cruiser sets - and very few mocs - and a Y-Wing would be awesome because, Y-Wings man xD Haha true. There have been some seriously awesome Venator Mocs.. ahem... http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/286828 (The popular one that appeared in the 2009 Visual Dictionary, Eric Varsegi, studded) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCdKkRYg9AY (Unknown, SNOT) These are just some of my personal favorites, there are lots more of all different scales.
-
Great mods all around, thanks Lilme for the Larry Lars link, I will definitely implement that as well as all the others when I get my hands on one of these. Or five... I really love this as a set but honestly a bit confused as to why this was so much more open to modification than the others in the Rogue One line.

Wonderful. You've fit co much complexity and structure into a tiny space in the cockpit and the wings are scaled perfectly. Great job Magmafrost
-
Really wonderful job here. Rey's speeder is definitely an under-moc'd "thing", at least comparatively. This is very cool though. Any chance you have more pictures?
-
Those are some gorgeous clone troopers you have here (correction; gorgeous is probably not the right word to describe battle-ready killing machines but they're very nice nonetheless). I must say Rex looks a lot better with your mods and Havoc and Echo are my favorites. They all look great though, please keep it up! Note- if you have not already, would you consider developing a collection for another battalion? (i.e. 212th, 104th, etc.)

REVIEW: 71013 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 16
strider117 replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Great review- thank you for this! I'm looking forward to getting the hair pieces from 1 and 14, and the glorious hood in 11. Love them all though, great run -
The 4th set is not Yoda's hut. It only comes with only R2-D2 and Joda, it would be very odd to be the hut and not come with Luke. I'ts Yoda's interceptor (yes, the stupid-looking one- http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/c/c7/Yodas_Jedi_Starfighter.png ). Also I'm quite excited about the Rebels ship too. Than one will come with Blindfolded Kanan, Chopper and Grand Admiral Thrawn. The battlepacks, which will be imperial and rebel battle packs from Rogue One also look good. These is what I've picked up on youtube and some other sites so not rock solid info, Sir Von Lego might be right. Nonetheless should be a very exciting year :)

[MOC] Coruscant speeder (with instructions)
strider117 replied to hachiroku's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Always liked that little guy. Great stop-motion short and great creation of something that desperately needs a new official set. -
I feel like the AT-STs Lego has released have been relatively well scaled, and the Shuttle and Slave I Rob0 mentioned are definitely close. I also feel like some ships, i.e. the later renditions of the Naboo starfighter, B-Wing, and X-Wings are close to minifig scale. Other than that, some location-based sets are probably to scale (ones that come in pieces, like Niima Outpost) but not many come to mind. Good luck in your search

Hey I'm just now seeing this and it looks phenomenal up to this point. If you have any more pictures I would love to see them! :)

[SoNE Ep. XII] R05 - Back to the hydrospanner
strider117 replied to Jannik's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
That is a beautiful build Jannik. One of my favorite X-Wing mocs i have ever seen - particularly love the nose and droid port, and scaling is on point - and the other 'things' (platform, cargo ladder/bridge, missile cart) all look amazing too. Very well done- you serve the Alliance well -
Is there anything from the OT that has not been built?
strider117 replied to PaddyBricksplitter's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I honestly can't think of anything other than the Force Cave on Dagobah, or maybe the cave where Luke builds his saber with 3PO and R2 on Tatooine. but those are kind of bantha crap answers, sorry. Pretty much everything's been done -
What a fun moc. Absolutely love it! The part about Greedo made me laugh
