  1. I thought knock-off mini-figs had awefull printed faces? If he only could take a very quick look without removing accesories from the mini-figs I could understand the confusion.
  2. I'm writing this in here because I think there's already enougn topics focused on Star Wars but anyone else is frustrated by the fact that EA owns the license to make the games? Crappy pay to win mobas on mobile, shallow FPS ( Battlefront, altough 2 could be better ) and what seems to be an uncharted type of game similar to Star Wars 1313 ( RIP ). LucasArt used to make such good games for the franchise, and to witness how widespread Star Wars is right now, the fact we are gonna get those shit games really makes me angry. No dedicated space battle games, in the universe called STAR WARS since what, 2003? I don't even imagine the devs working on those titles and how disenchanted they must be having to work with this bull crap.
  3. I believe that after Imaginators there are no planned Skylanders sequel: Super Chargers was very dissapointing sales wise and the only reason Imaginators got released is the amount already invested in the development.
  4. We don't know what's the protagonist purpose and we are in season 3. 90% filler up until now and I have absolutly not a single clue about what the finale is going to be except including Thrawn looking like a smartass letting them escape for the 7th time. Most episodes are trivial stories, with some obscure references sparkled here and there, Member Berries style ( Member Lando, Princess Leia, Dark Troopers? ). Latest episode, Sabine is a total lightsaber noob with inner conflicts, gets her megablocks whopped by Kanan, whinned and managed to beat him and now you must BEND the knee to the cyborg queen. The writers screwed up at the get go by not indroducing a real purpose with the antagonist, giving us passable side kicks and a complete and utter lack of things at stake. Member writting 101? I member. Please also note the abbysmal viewership, one FOURTH of what Clone Wars had in general.
  5. I know mini-figs are place holder but if you could get the names of all 4 figs in the Bounty Hunter battle pack it would be greatly appreciated. 4-LOM is more likely to be included than Zuckuss but any info would be great. Your thoughts on the freemakers sets would also be nice, as they sadly are the biggest sets
  6. Well most often than not they do a better job with newer iterations: but it's clearly not the case here.
  7. Except for the cockpit piece this is a total downgrade of the Milano. It's really not as elegant as the previous one...
  8. I really, really liked that game. The narrative driven campaign was kind of surprising, diminishing a bit the replay value but the experience was really neat, a bit unlike Doom who went all in with the action, I love both. Everyone dies, the good guys don't even win at the end ( what does killing Totten Kopft really achieves? )and the lore is quite interesting like the african war going on, is Hitler still alive? I'd love them to make a sequel or something else in that universe. I went and completed Super Castlevania 4, the game was insanely hard. I then went and tried beating Castlevania 1 and after finally beating Grim Reaper I'm stuck vs Dracula. NES games tends to be filled with some BS controls and difficulty which is frustrating.
  9. 4 figs? Plain droids are worth considerably less than a mini-fig. Also the vehicle appears smaller than the previous itteration.
  10. The worst launch in a long time? Nintendo consoles always had very few games on launch to begin with, both PS4 and Xbone were atrocious on launch. It's not superb but heck I'll take Zelda on launch
  11. Those 5 movies take the cake over Empire, which is not even worth your time? The holiday special is not even a so bad it's good movie. You got to be trolling.
  12. I like how they completly ripped off Predators with the self destruct system, the countdown was almost identical. :O Also wasn't there like 20 seconds for the bomb to blow? The imperial crew could have ejected the thing. Unless AP5 tampered the remainning time too. Forresto really nailed it with this though ''My problem with Rebels as a show is usually they so close to greatness with episodes and if there were small tweaks here and there with portrayal it would be there but so often they fall just short and its frustrating'' Most episodes feels like a Star Trek episode with Wesley Crusher: It's all good and dandy and suddendly he appears and the only thing that comes into mind is drinking bleach. The protagonists in Rebels utterly outsmart their opponents every time like that freacking Crusher brat it totally pulls you off from the episode. For example, in that episode, the droid came of as menacing, taking out 2 giant spiders not even in combat form, a feat Zeb could only dream of, only to get his megablocks handed to him later, without injurying him? Heck, Clone Wars has a less interesting setting than Rebels yet they managed to have stronger characters, plots and returning characters by season 3 compared to this. ( Both series have a shitty season 1 though )
  13. Interesting, not too long ago it was discarded from Brickset and now some confirmation... I thought we were rid of this thing!
  14. Yeah I just watched Jang's review of the original one and I really did not expect that much interior space, it's damn impressive.
  15. WOW! I never saw some of these and my jaw just dropped. I'm VERY jelly about the Grand Bazaar and Where the Wild Things Are has an absolutly ridiculous amount of details!
  16. Anyone watched the console's stream? I was relieved that Zelda would launch on release (the game looks great, but let's hope the outworld has side quests, other wise it's gonna be a bland ), they revealed a lot of RPG support and Mario odyssey looks quite nice. But overall... what's on launch day other than Zelda? I know it's a VERY far reaching game audience wise but is it enough? I would have liked to see some blue thight pants and some loud nasty music, also Metroid?
  17. I don't own the old Milano ship, I keep looking at both of them and I'm really not sure which looks best? The previous version has the wing and size advantage, the new one seems to have a more accurate cockpit section and a different color scheme... That's a weird situation.
  18. I budgeted what I was going to buy once the sets are available in march: Gonna wait for the inevitable 2x VIP and get: - Y Wing, 4 Empire soldiers BP and a Rebel troopers BP or two ( maybe A-wing and Desert Skiff too, the AFOL is not a patient species ). - Bricklink the figs of some microfighters, Thrawn if someone on Bricklink is willing to sell it under 20$ CAD, otherwise gonna get the set 20% off. - Stalk amazon.ca for deals on Battle on Scariff, that set is insaly over priced.
  19. AT-ACT as a whole were sort of shoe horned in the movie, there's got to be more energy effective means to transport cargo than a humongous 4 legged metal beast. They were destroyed more easily because they had way less plating than a regular AT-AT, and they had that big hole in the middle section for cargo that doesn't make things hold up very well vs proton torpedos I guess. From the visual book I think it's mentionned that their legs are supported by some sort of magnetic field to support the cargo weight and that's why the U-wing ''electric'' gun could disable them. They should have remained in the background and used AT-STs instead.
  20. Yeah I don't see them using that head, it's way too off, that Yoda Chronicles head is amazing! In any case Just2good is gonna have to switch from Twitch to 4-LOM as is emblem, progress demands it!
  21. I endured the whole thing several years ago, I think you really have to watch the whole thing to truly feel the ''experience''. Confusion, uneasiness and dread comes to mind when thinking about the thing. Luke's face is all kind of wrong, he just had his accident and he is wearing an absolute mountain of make-up, Carrie Fisher is stoned out of her mind, the Wookies... unbearable unending scenes, no subtitles, the grandfather is %$#*&?% while watching some weird &?$%, the cartoon almost gave me nightmares because of the characters's animation and facial expressions. It's mentally and physically drainning as a whole.
  22. I'm sure Lego will send good people over seeing things over in China but my post was sarcastic sadly.
  23. Don't worry you guys ( Oceania and Asia ) are gonna have some real nice chinese made Lego soon :(
  24. LED lights, they don't emit UV radiation, which is the main cause of yellowing bricks. I can't say if Light Bley can yellow as my sets having this color are mostly recent, but light gray sure does
  25. Did they ever produced dual molded arms and legs for a starwars mini-fig? I may be wrong but I think they never did?
