  1. Oustanding results IronFish, these look proper to be trashed by stormies or mauled by Vader! I would bother doing a custom IG-88 fig Red Cheese, wait for the next battle pack we are most likely getting an updated version of him. I think Brasso does the best job removing prints, but be cautious with it not going to hard, it's really powerfull ( trumpet player here ).
  2. http://www.pricevortex.com/ It's also up on Brickset.
  3. No because using a search bar or reading 5 posts above what you are typing is too time consuming apparantly. There's maybe 4 full pages of people asking the same question.
  4. Confirmed set numbers for episode VIII. 75187 - 75188 - 75189 - 75190 75176 - 75177 ( 75178 is very stangely the Quad Jumper from TFA, stange it's shoved in the middle of this ) and 75179. This doesn't seem to include constraction figures. Source: Price Vortex from Hothbricks. From the looks of it it seems Lego doesn't want to show any Star Wars sets from the Nuremberg toys fair, or ninjago for that matter. Their best seller themes are not even showcased.
  5. Dang crocodiles, panther, lepards... there's even a carnivorous plant! These poor mini-figs are gonna have a hard time with these with metal detectors and radios. I think the only lackluster thing with the sub-theme is the over emphasis of the of the sets on vehicles instead of being terrain based; at least props for the crashed plane and river this looks nice.
  6. The fact alone he was considered for a brief moment as the next ''Spielberg'' after Sixth sense, then proceeded to make some of the most inhuman cinematical experiences since... ( Last air bender, After Earth and oh my god the Happening) I think he was lucky with Sixth sense, there is no way to mess up that many movies if you have real talents as a director. As a rule of thumb you have to make 3 good movies to be considered as a good director. With M.Night, there's not debate towards his best movie, it's sixth sense, the rest ranks from meh to wow this is awefull, from my humble opinion.
  7. Le bossu de Notre Dame is maybe the darkest Disney story out there and I love it. I don't want to sound harsh but the new Beauty and the Beast looks meh: The beast is meant to be scary, twice the size showcased in the movie with tusks and intimidating demeanor. It looks a lot more light hearted which could hurt the tonal shift at the end of the movie. Also Emma Watson as a Disney princess? Oh the irony.
  8. As a side note anyone think they went a bit over board with the number of sets released and are yet to be for the movie? I know it's their chance to shine but a whole 20 CMF, 19 boxed sets ( with some really big ones in there ) and an armsfull of polybags? The sets are all very nice, and the mini-figs have a league of their own details wise but for collectors out there isn't it a bunch of big pills to swallow all at the same time?
  9. If this is fake the guy did a great effort to sheet post: - Zuckuss is the only remainning bounty hunter from ESB to be made when taking the BH BP into account. - Lando's print is not the same as featured on the fake one posted earlier, the face is the one used in the new A-wing set, not the custom printed one. This is probably fake but I'm probably not the only UCS bespin dreamer out there
  10. The frustrating part is what customs charges for products crossing the border, which is a crappy deal for both sellers and buyers: I live 2 hours away from the U.S border and yet a package will cost me 4x times more in a neighboor state than one from thousands of kilometers away in B.C. and that's only for a letter. It doesn't help either the CAN is still criminally low and the US$ is getting stronger. I won't even mention europe which is insanely expensive. I imagine that most of a seller's buisness is within his own country, at least in NA.
  11. Thanks for the review, this set is worth it for the mini-figs and pop corn popper feature alone
  12. If previous Advent Calendars are of any reference Lego has been really shy about including cloth pieces, like the snow trooper. Releasing Lando with no cape piece would be like releasing Vader without his helmet: it doesn't make any sense.
  13. It's basically down to a fourth of what Clone Wars used to have views on average, season 3 being the lowest ( some episodes got 36k-37k views ). The show's pacing is indeed atrocious.
  14. Making longer episodes instead of many shorter ones would be nice too. Or make them follow a story arc. At any rate I don't think this show will go on after season 4, the viewership is abyssmally low.
  15. I wanted another RTS SW game for ages now, I'm still playing Battlegrounds from time to time. I used to trust Bioware with RPGs but that's no longer the case: Dragon age 2 was crap and Mass Effect 3 was so bad it retroactivly ruined the whole franchise.
  16. All the info is available in the last 3 pages guys, c'mon.
  17. Bought a lot of medium and long blaster rifles from bricklink ( needed some for the up coming bounty hunter BP ), pieces required to mod the hatch of the RO Hover Tank and a couple of cheap mini-figs. I was pissed each time looking at the thing not being able to fit a pilot through the hatch.
  18. Here my small RO display: https://postimg.org/image/xy7902mxl/ https://postimg.org/image/np05xd19r/ I did a small MOC for the AT-ST and planning to doing a proper hatch for the hover tank but I'm too lazy to order parts.
  19. I also remeber very well the same kind of very early pics from the Death Troopers mini-figs on a white background with no cloth pieces too. I'm willing to say this is quite legit.
  20. The print sure looks real to me, and it seems to be really accurate, down to the belt details. Imagine a fabulous cape and you got yourself a really nice looking Lando. Maybe they'll shove in Zuckuss with the set to complete the bounty hunters collection, that would be smart. Lego keeps hitting homeruns with mini-figs in high demands, and people thought the Bounty Hunters BP was a joke. My VIP points are ready.
  21. Both new constraction figures are really neat, especially the commander since you can customize him to make it a standard trooper too.
  22. At this stage of production they'll use previous iterations of mini-figs for the box art, it's been consistent like this for the previous prelims. I'm 100% sure they won't use old bossk. ( he looks super dated ).
  23. I'm pretty sure the fig in the Quad is Unkar's Thug, the fig included in a book previously. The fourth fig is definitly 4-LOM, is the closest looking to a droid. And looks like I was right with the Ithorian Jedi included in the Tracker 1! For me the highlights are the constraction figures and the bounty hunter BP, although play value wise the Rathtar escape looks very solid. I also can't wait to read the quadjumper's description: are they gonna include ''memorable'' and ''iconic''?
  24. What hapenned to the A-wing vs Tie? Rebels ( barely has a quarter of the audience Clone Wars had, Australia can barely get Rebels sets at all ) and over priced. I'm still holding my breath over the Falcon remake, the snow speeder could be nice though. Hopefully not another playset or piece for piece remake.
  25. I bought Battlefield 1 and the game has much more depht than Battlefront: and the thing wasnt broken on launch. I just get the feeling they will push those kind of titles non-stop down our throats ( sucky shooters and uncharted kind of adventures where you controll some edgy over powered dude with emotions struggle ). Can't we have RPGs, RTS, innovative new characters or features anymore? This universe is so vast yet is soo constricted.
