Orders don't always show up right away.. Sometimes it takes a few hours... My bank account has been charged, but usually the money goes back in and then comes back out when they ship... I am shocked at how cheap the boys down under are getting them(I am happy because they always get the shaft)... My buddy said that he got his for $220, but the BTTF set was $70..!!!

I don't expect the 41999 to be up on shop at home for very long... I played it smart and split my order up into 2 different ones with BTTF sets so I could get 2 of those hot dog stand polybags for free...
-
It's weird, if you do a search for 41999, you cannot add it to your bag, but you can under themes...
-
I got mine ordered literally 30 seconds after the link went live, then I went back to order the BTTF sets and they were having issues...
-
Click on "Themes" and then select the set from there... The site appears to be slammed.. It is even saying that they are having problems...

Orders just went live in the United States... Got 2 of them for $273(with $150 in VIP points)

I supported it.. I had no idea what it was, but I am sure there are people out there who would buy this who don't know anything about Cuusoo...
-
I wonder how they are distributing these between countries..? Like what countries get what amounts of them... I am surprised that it is 2 per order...

Yeah, that is just horrible... All these Comic Cons are about anymore is scalping products...

The 8880 was more complex than it needed to be because of the limited amount of Technic parts at that time... It is also kind of heavy due to the studded build... But it was a really cool model that had a ton of cool features, but there were some things that I didn't like about it... There is no doubt in my mind that a certain member of the Technic Design team is currently working on ideas for a new Supercar for the future... Unfortunately the new hubs kind of suck...

Next CUUSOO set: 21103 Back to the Future™ Time Machine

This is a fantastic solution..! And of course when you alter it to the "Part 3" model, you would just alter the hood to how Lego had done it to add the gadgets to it... They probably just wanted to keep the modification somewhat simple between all 3 variations... -
I can't wait to see how people lose their minds when Lego releases a Stan Lee Comic Con minifig...

Next year at this very same time when you see what people on Ebay are paying for this set in used condition, you'll wish that you had made the purchase... Every Flagship Technic set(and most regular sets) increase in value rather quickly once retired and this being a limited edition will be even more sought-after...

Next CUUSOO set: 21103 Back to the Future™ Time Machine

Not only is the part misprinted, but it is also misprinted on the box and this will make the initial 10k run of the BTTF set's value increase dramatically because there is no doubt that the first 10k run will sell out quickly and be replaced by the fixed part and box on the following runs... This isn't just a misprint, it is a misspelling.... Collectors go nuts for stuff like this.... I deal in toys, and I know what hardcore fans want... People are already paying double the price on Ebay right now for this set... The initial run will be sold out quick.. My advice to anyone out there who has one of these misspelling sets is leave it in the box and get another one if they want to build it... Watch in a year from now and see which version of the set is bringing in more money... -
LEGO® CUUSOO 空想 - Turn your model wishes into reality
Paul Boratko replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I know this isn't an actual sales report, but just going by twitter, FTL has 12,000 followers and Minecraft has 325,000 So I guess that you could get some rough numbers based off of sales... What is Minecraft sales up to total for all systems and PC..? Around 20 million..? -
LEGO® CUUSOO 空想 - Turn your model wishes into reality

I am supporting over 160 projects and I can honestly say that I more than likely would not buy 90% of them.. I offered my support for certain projects because I felt that they were a really good idea for the people out there who are into that particular theme and may never get to visit(or know about) Cuusoo, and I just really hate to see good ideas get lost in the shuffle... There are some amazing designs and ideas on Cuusoo that will probably never get to 1,000 supports due to lack of fan-base... I can also guarantee that the majority of people that supported that Purdue Pete project would never even buy it.. People voted for that one just because it seemed like the right thing to do... The Minecraft project came along at just the right time as the game was gaining amazing momentum in sales and cult fans... And that game also fits perfectly with LEGO's structure as it is based on actually building, so Minecraft is really a tough IP to base the future of game related Cuusoo projects on... That one was just too perfect.... I remember seeing it on Cuusoo and thinking "Isn't that what LEGO basically already is?" -

I wonder if this spelling "Slip" was done on purpose... No doubt this error will increase the sales of the initial run of this set... People will be buying multiples because there is no doubt that variants and errors like this increase the value dramatically.. Especially since the error is also on the box... -
