At this point, this is a dead issue... The guilty have been punished... No need to drag anyone down further than they already are... When this video first hit, I was quick to jump on and defend the honor of women builders, but after more facts came out it seems that I really didn't need to do that at all...

The guy who built the bottom project goes by the name of senteosan and he had to remove his website and information from Cuusoo because of all of the threats that he was getting... Now here is a serious question that no one on the BrickQueen end will answer... If she was banned so easily because of some new guy with a project similar to hers was having his "Friends" Flag her account, then why hasn't senteosan's account been banned considering that he has had to have had 1000's of Flags and Reports since BrickQueen uploaded her sympathy video..? If BrickQueen has any integrity or morals at all, she will take down her video that is inciting chaos for both the Cussoo staff as well as the people on Cuusoo that are getting trashed by her "Fans"

I don't quite understand how BrickQueen or anyone of her minions could accuse anyone of stealing her projects... I mean her themes were Batman and Jurassic Park.. Those aren't exactly unique ideas... This Jurassic Park project is from April of 2012 And this was hers from a few weeks ago I am failing to see where she can possibly come out and start blaming people for stealing her ideas... And these are the 2 projects that recently came under fire from her brigade of minions because they supposedly stole her idea... This one below is just excellent

She blocked my account too... All that I was doing was trying to tell the children there not to jump to conclusions and to not accuse innocent people at Cuusoo of doing something that there was no proof of ever happening... I was shocked at some of the comments that were being made there last night... This is a quote that someone has on there right now at the top of the comments and they couldn't be any more correct... "One thing's for sure, this comment section has revealed how much a sicko the average 8-year-old is."

Vampire GT

It is basically just a color switch except for a few parts... Lego doesn't make this part in white So you must use this part in the front On the sides where these parts are required, you just have to improvise a bit using regular perpendicular connectors ans 1 x 2 thin liftarms... I used LBG for the entire bottom, but you could use any color that you wanted... Fernando from TechnicBRICKs suggested Black... And of course you must use the old style connectors because Lego has not made them in the newer style yet I think those were really the only things that needed to be changed from the original.. And I couldn't do the roof in White because Lego doesn't make the smooth toggle joint in white.. I think it looks more interesting in White/Black though... I still have all of the black pictures... I had basically given up on the Cuusoo project as I have moved onto other things and one day I decided to try to do the model in white to maybe give it a boost in interest at Cuusoo... I don't know if I will ever sell a complete model in white... It isn't impossible to gather up all of the white parts, but it does take time... I also have about 100 black friction axle pins in the body... -
Yes, my wife ordered a few... She originally just called them to order the wheels, but asked about a few other parts and was told "No" about all of them exceot the 5 x 11 panels.. I talked to a fellow from the U.K. who said that he did in fact order the wheels and they were rather inexpensive... I have no clue what is going on.. I still think Lego should release part packs so that everyone who wants to upgrade their crawler can do so or they would more than likely go out and buy a second 9398 crawler.. Sound like a win for everyone...

This is strange... You can actually order the 5 x 11 blue panels(about $2 each) from Lego, but every other blue and silver part from the 41999 is not allowed to be sold because they are "Licensed" The wheels were also "Licensed" Yes, the service rep used the word "Licensed" they said the same thing before about the orange parts from the Unimog, that they were "Licensed" orange parts... I kind of understand that because of the Mercedes name(even though they were the same orange color that has always existed) Wonder why the panels are allowed to be sold though..?

LEGO® CUUSOO 空想 - Turn your model wishes into reality

Thrilled about the Ghostbusters Project.... -
Lego still doesn't know what they are going to do about damaged boxes yet, but they did tell my best friend to take pics of his punctures in his sets and send them in to them... I took the pics for him earlier today.. The box being in nice condiition is a key part of what makes this set so special considering that it is so unique..

So this guy wants $720 for the 41999 or $2,600 for the 41999 with 8466 tires amd the Metallic wheels from the 8674 F1 car with worldwide shipping included..? Not to overlook the fact that he is also selling the same set of the wheels.and tires separately for $66... I can only assume that the remaining $1,800 or so for the shipping is because he is shipping there from another planet..?

Lego used to make parts molded in pearl light gray which had a nice metallic look... I thought that the new metallic silver liftarms would be like the current metallic silver slotted round pin connectors.. I am a bit disappointed to find out that they are painted...

I think the best thing for Lego to do would be to sell 41999 expension or upgrade sets so that people who have the 9398 sets can upgrade their current crawler(or ones that want to buy a new one and add the expansion kit)... This could include all of the needed parts(and wheels) along with instructions and stickers... I cannot see them selling 2 versions of the same thing competing against each other with one having many more parts(including an extra motor) for the same price...
-
I honestly don't see how they can sell the 9398 and the 41999 set at the same time for the same price.. I mean who is going to buy the 9398 with less parts..? I would like to see Lego continue to release the 41999 set in a cheaper box without numbering them... It seems to me that there was much labor invloved in the entire packaging of the 41999(not to mention extra parts) to sell them for the same price as the 9398... Or maybe a body upgrade kit for people that already have the 9398... Looking back at the value of previous Technic flagship models(and the number of sets made), there is no doubt this may very well be not only one of the most wanted Technic models ever, but one of the most sought after sets ever due to the number of new things that were introduced in this set, plus there are only 20,000 of them...

I have ordered a TON of stuff from Lego Shop at home over the years and this is the fastest that I will have ever gotten an order...

Rishab, P.M. me... -
But you do make a good point about the 9398 sets getting left in the dark... It is inevitable that the set would have increased in value at some point in time just like every other flagship technic set that was widely avaialable... Someone in the U.S. just listed a 41999 set on Ebay for $294 USD with free shipping... After Ebay and Paypal fees they are going to lose about $40 and then still have to pay to ship it... Hardly even worth trying to make a buck on... And then another guy listed one using the first guy's pictures with the auction ONE CENT cheaper with free shipping.... I figure there will be 50 auctions by the end of the day...

I guess if the demand is extremely high that it is possible to bring the set back out in non numbered versions and perhaps change the box to the cheaper kind...

New 8 tooth gear!
Paul Boratko replied to JohannesESTONIA's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I was expecting to see the red non friction 8 tooth gear in here... -
I am willing to bet 1/2 of the 41999 crawlers were bought by people who are not Technic fans and have no desire to build the model... I personally know 5 people who bought 2 of each of them with the sole purpose of reselling... I am in no way surprised that this sold out so quickly...

There is a 2 set per order, but I wonder what happens if you try and order 2 more..? When Toys R Us was running the BOGO deal, they limited you to 2, but you could just place another order for 2 more...
