  1. Those are nice posters, thanks for sharing, hopefully they're teasers for a real Iron Patriot fig.
  2. I have to say, I am very disappointed in TLG for giving us the Iron Man Drone polybag instead of a new exclusive figure. That was a missed opportunity to receive a one off minifig that has not been produced and might not ever. Forgetting the obvious Iron Patriot, it could have been one of the many new suits that will appear in the film or even a Man of Steel fig. Perhaps maybe a obscure hero, anything would have been better, especially considering the outrage over last years Comic-Con exclusive minifigs. Although, I am still looking forward to the Marvel Superheroes pregame bonus, probably Iron Patriot. Having printed arms would be a good solution. Also, since arm printing is uncommon, it would make a Winter Soldier fig even more desirable.
  3. Great review WhiteFang. Hard to believe we have had 10 series of amazing figs released. The picture showing all the CM released to date, is very impressive. This series has some great figs to collect, I love all the historical figs and city figs. "Mr. Gold" is an interesting concept, and I am curious if he and his cane are indeed chrome gold.
  4. IM3 comes out in May, so it is possible we will see a Marvel promo polybag that month, or it could be a DC one for MoS. I don't think other promo's have anything to do with what TLG plans to release. Might find out in April sometime when the store calender for May is released.
  5. On the Amazon page for that set they describe it as the Mark 5 suitcase. After watching the new trailer, I really wish we had gotten a larger set in the $100 range. I am a little confused, can TLG make Marvel sets based on the comics, like for the Fantastic Four? Or only films and TV shows?
  6. Thanks for doing this fantastic review! I think this set is nice as well, it has a lot of good details and parts. I agree that chopper is pretty weak and I will probably have to use it for spare parts. The minifigs all look great, nice to see civilian Tony and Pepper. Hopefully one day we will get a D2C Mansion or Stark Tower. Overall, I agree this set is a good 3.8-4/5.
  7. From those pictures it looks like the "stock" head on the MK 42 is just a plain white head.
  8. Well, I think it is pretty awesome. The fact that we get a second chance to buy a UCS X-Wing is incredible. Sure some details might not be exact with the film, but it is LEGO after all and those little quirks are what I like about the products. The scale feels UCS size to me, it looks great on display from the videos.
  9. I think the mansion is easily the best set of the summer wave, so far. Those MoS sets are not very interesting at all, I will pass on all of them except the smallest one with the car. I really like the mansion interior details. Although small, it is pretty nice, it has a little kitchen, Hall of Armor, workshop and desk. That is satisfactory for the size limitations placed on this set for the price. Unlikely, but it would be nice if the sticker sheet had bonus stickers for the MK 42 and you could choose what two suits you wanted to display. Something like the nose art for the RGS a few years back.
  10. Enjoying the new 2013 summer sets!

  11. What is fabuland?

  12. Congrats to the winners! There were so many fantastic entries to choose from, and all that participated did a fantastic job I think. And also Si-MOCs who put in a ton of work to make this an awesome month!
  13. Jango Fett looks fantastic, an obscure set for the film, but acceptable. Padme is also a nice new fig to get. I think I like the new AT-TE model more so than the previous rendition. The Sail Barge looks good, having owned the previous, I think there are some nice new details and the Max Rebo fig is classic.
  14. These all look great, nice to see the train comes with track as that is always useful. I think the Silver Mine and Stagecoach are the best sets, but since I need the Lone Ranger's horse Silver, the smallest set is a good buy as well.
  15. Oh I know, I was just generalizing.
  16. Thanks for the pictures! Starting with the smallest set, the buggy is bleh, I am having flashbacks to 7884. The Mandarin's hair and beard just don't really look good at all I admit. The heartbreaker suit is the same we had seen previously, no new surprise figs. The extremis seaport battle set is alright I guess, the antagonists vehicles seem to have a corresponding color scheme. I don't like that rendition of Aldrich Killian or Eric Savin/mystery green guy, I mean the virus makes them pale green? Would have liked a Firepower in a suit like the comics, but oh well I guess, that is the film rendition. The mansion is actually better than I thought it would be, that window upper area is built good. The blender and Mark 42 schematic are nice touches. Easy to add much more features if you like via MOC. It is also not dis-jumbled like the Helicarrier and random bits that look <insert that tiresome argument>. I still hope we get a D2C of the mansion one day with the Hall of Armor's. I guess TLG omitted it all together instead of giving us a bad rendition. The rest of the figs are fantastic, except for the villains. I hope we get Iron Patriot as the S@H promo.

  21. Thank you for posting that. Now, that is the Mark 42! Looks great, wish it had arm printing though.
  22. New picture from the German Toy fair from Brickset flickr stream.
  23. Ooh, new pictures, I really like that set, both figures look fantastic. I was skeptical how the new suit would look but I think TLG did a great job. Zod is really cool too. I think the car is actually quite nice, I like it better than the dedicated cars featured in the City theme.
