  1. Interesting list, I am going to guess some descriptions suffered in the translation. I hope it turns out to be correct, because a Heroic Knight sounds nice, maybe even a completely new faction?
  2. Superheroes month? That is very awesome! The new banner and skin look great. (Can we keep them permanently ? ) Hooray for yay!
  3. Congratulations, the History forum is looking great!
  4. Interesting. That is all I have to say for now. Just have to wait and see. I think Disney is doing a good job with Marvel so far, judging solely on "The Avengers" film. IM3 is going to be the next Marvel film released under Disney, so that should be a good preview of what to expect for future SW films. I also agree they should just start with new characters and not try and hash out any old ones (esp ones that are deceased). And at the very worst they can't take away classic SW from us.
  5. Watched the IM3 trailer, the last few pages of discussion has been interesting. I really do hope the Mark VII minifig has printed arms to pull off that noticeable gold color scheme.
  6. Thank you, it looks very interesting. That list should be added to the first post. Don't worry it got me too.
  7. Where was Calvary builder mentioned as a set name?
  8. After seeing the new Spiderman set pics, I am really liking that set, the car is nicely constructed and it comes with 3 great figures.
  9. I do like the Batboat set, it came out better than I imagined. Will be picking that one up.
  10. I prefer the old Batman theme and I think it was vastly superior to the new DC Superheroes theme, so far. The new sets have been (generally) poorer remakes done in a childish and <insert that tiresome argument> fashion, with ugly color and set selection. I do not think that it was necessary for the way many of the sets turned out, regardless of the target age group. TLG has proven they can design plenty of nice and detailed sets that appeal to all ages. That is not the case with the entire Superheroes theme so far, Marvel included. I just feel the set selection, the pricing and parts limit have been poorly decided. Take for example the TDKR set, IMHO that was a poor decision to cram two large vehicles into a $40 set, resulting in both of the vehicles being lackluster. Nothing against the set designers, they did the best job they could under the circumstances. There are a few nice sets I enjoyed namely, the Superman set, Arkham and hopefully the new Bat-boat set with Aquaman will be good. I echo many of the sentiments of Oky, DC Superheroes does have plenty of potential because of the character library TLG has access too, again however decisions on which characters to produce have been poor IMO. Also I don’t understand why TLG decided to give Comic Con events all the cool new (exclusive) DC figs like Green Lantern, Shazam, and Bizarro. That is an argument for another thread however. So, overall I still prefer the original Batman theme.
  11. Got a chance to review the pictures and overall I am pleased. Although Police and Fire themes are getting tiresome, I don't mind these new sets, all the figs have updated designs and TLG is starting to include civilian elements into the sets. The burning house is an interesting concept, although the structure isn't great, it works. The museum is also a nice set, I will probably pick that one up, although somewhat small, it can be easily expanded, plus I like the contents TLG put in there.

  13. 8. Quarryman - 3 points
  14. Sorry to be so blunt, but, that TDKR set is <insert that tiresome argument>! The Tumbler looks like it belongs in the Racers theme, and blue parts on the Bat? Wout was right, Bane did get a car. Good thing it is relatively cheap and has nice figs.
  15. Great work on getting the forum back up! I was starting to wonder what was going on.
  16. What a pleasant surprise for today to have a new themed month, and Ninja themed nonetheless! I did mine just for fun awhile ago when I knew dreamed we were going to have a Ninja month, the mysterious Green ninja:
  17. decided to go OG

  18. Oh yes, now I can't wait for a universal skin in all the forums.
  19. Sweet new Train! I wonder if this will be replacing the Maersk Train?
  20. That looks nice and will be a fine addition to the Historic themes range. I am happy we will still have the classic mold though because that one is timeless.
  21. Hey! I got the first comment!

  22. Thanks for confirming the set numbers nrg. Not much is known about the film plot so they could be anything. I would love to see a steam train and stagecoach, either way I am sure we will get loads of new useful parts like POTC and LOTR gave us.
  23. Those three new IM3 sets sound great. I am particularly interested in the Mansion set, hoping for Tony Stark's lab.
