  1. Hello, and thanks again for the nice comments! Now it's time to give some answers... Besides, the Naboo-N1 and the Bongo Sub, which you already have seen, there are no other Star Wars models made of other sets currently. But there may be more in future. Well, it's a bit of both. You can't force creativity. The more time you spend with a set, the more you begin to see the potential of the pieces themselves, and not just the set. Then you suddenly think what it *could* be. And with a little patience and some skills it *might* really work out then. See you soon, ~ Christopher
  2. Congratulations once again! ;-)

  3. Hello, and thank your for the comment Mario. When creativity comes to mind, use it. That's exactly what I do. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  4. Hello my friend! It's nice to see you in bold green letters! :-)

  5. Hello! Thank you for all your motivating comments! We'll have much fun with the new creator sets hitting the stores this year I hope. See you around, ~ Christopher
  6. Hello! I just got aware of this topic, and it almost blew me away! That's a massive ship! It's amazing to see your passion that went into this creation by assembling countless small pieces into such a huge representation of the shuttle. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  7. Hello again! Thank you very much for the many nice comments! Posting on these boards is a pleasure and bringing inspiration into the community is my greatest joy. There is a blog! I am sorry to have missed the start and its initial announcement. Thank you for taking these models over there. Hope to see you around soon, and have a great week-end! ~ Christopher
  8. Hello! Depending on the terrain you want you sleek buggy to run over it could be useful to have some larger/wider wheels to prevent from a breakdown ondifficult surfaces. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  9. Hello! A really typical and decent view of Mr. Spock! The raised eyebrow is fantastic and makes him perfect! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  10. Hello everybody! While toying around with the small Creator set 6741 - Mini Jet, I realized that the Force is strong with this one. Availabe for only a few bucks (4.99 EUR / 4.99 GBP / 5.99 USD) and just containing 63 pieces, this little set has the potential for two weöö-known Star Wars miniatures which I want to present to you here. -------------------- First you can build the Republic Cruiser "Radiant VII" from the opening scene of Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace. Of course you can't be 100% accurate with only 63 pieces from a set intended for something comepletely different, and thus I am missing the escape pod under the bridge. But I hope it's still recognizable. Building fun is guaruanteed nevertheless! >> All images an instructions are available here. << -------------------- The second model you can build with these 63 pieces is an A-Wing Starfighter from Episode 6 - Return of the Jedi. It's a pretty clean design and of adequate accuracy regarding the limitations. >> All images an instructions are available here. << -------------------- Unfortunately this little set is no longer availble officially in the stores from this year on. But there are still plenty of these in the store waiting to be bought. Thanks for your time and stepping by! Yours Christopher.
  11. Hello! Like the others I am also impressed by this very fine creation. Besides the clever wing-bending technique, the ellisoid main body is what really fascinates me. It's one of the most difficult geometrical shapes, and you did it excellently! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  12. Hello! The AstroSteam Droid is a really lovely detail and my favourite within this creation. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  13. Hello! A great representation of the Trident! The functionality is perfect, and in your model you can spot details which were only hard to identify during the movie. One of my facourites is the trans-black 4x4 cockpit dish with its fixations. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  14. Hello everybody! While waiting for the new 2011 creator sets to come into the stores, I took an older creator set called "Cool Cars" (4939) from the year 2007. It has 206 pieces and cost 9.99 EUR four years ago. When I do alternatives of creator sets I usually try to make something completely different from the main models. Set 4939 is a typical car building set, and there are many possibilities of doing alternate cars with these pieces. Here, I'd like to present a microscale aircraft carrier from this limited parts variety. It comes complete with a complement of 2 planes and 1 helicopter. All images and building instructions are available here. That's it for the moment. Thank you for your time and interest. Cheers, ~ Christopher -------------------- Alternate Building Series Quick Links: --------------------
  15. Hello! This ship is much largers than it seems from the small thumbnail image. I have to agree that using the 24x7 tippers are a clever alternate use for this pieces! If I am allowed a question... Agreed it looks great and menacing, but what is the scorpion-like sting on the side meant to be? Cheers, ~ Christopher
  16. Hello! A nice and really compact assault craft. I guess that suits it well as a drone ship does not need all the space for life supports, consumables etc. I am not so fond of the four single red pieces. I think they rather disturb the nice dark colour scheme rather than contributing. Did you try yellow ones, because this would fit to the stickers on the wedges. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  17. Hello! You embedded many new elements into the classic Blacktron II style which were not available during Blacktron's heyday. The design is unique an d makes a nice addition to the theme. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  18. Hello! A great capital ship! It reminds me also a little bit of the "Tiger's Claw" carrier. The frigate features a lot of playability, and the interior is thought out well. My favourite is the support ship with it's bus-like cockpit window. That's a perfect use for this windscreen! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  19. Hello! That's a true win for M:Tron space! The colour scheme macthes exactly, the functionality of M:Tron has been realized, and the support craft are built in the right style. All in all a great contribution for all M:Tron fans, especially considering the fact that M:Tron never had an official base released (besides the repair station in idea book 260). Thanks for sharing, ~ Christopher
  20. Hello, and thank you for the nice comments in my profile here. There are of course more models to come! :-) There are some things bothering me currently, but I am still here and planning the next models. See you soon!

  21. Hello. I am quite shocked to read this. It is always sad to loose a community member even if you didn't know him in person. It's the entirety of us all that makes this great community, but now we are missing one well-regarded voice. Maybe we can find a little solace in the fact that our community is immortal and thus everyone who contributed in it will be immortal as well. My sympathies. Christopher
  22. Hello! Well, I guess all praises have already been said, but let me congratulate also to this felicitous creation. It provides instantly the feeling of watching "The Empire Strikes Back". My favourite detail is the little top window of the canopy. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  23. Hello! A decent layout you are showing here. The skeleton is the real eye catcher for me. The detail shots of the walker are pretty dark and blurry. Using a stronger light source should solve both problems. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  24. Hello! Although Space Police II never had the success of series II or III, I liked it pretty much. Yor little craft is a nice additon to the line with a original cockpit construction. To better mtach the Space Police II colour scheme, hoewever, I'd recoomend adding a few more bits of light grey, as the black is a bit too dominant. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  25. Hello! It's a nice idea and good addition to the cube series, but I think Mr. Santa is too slim. It would be great to a more voluminous body for the great cube head. Cheers, ~ Christopher
