  1. Hello! The golden globe with the ring around it looks very appealing. I am looking forward seeing this in real shiny golden bricks. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  2. Hello! The sand red really contributes to making this an amazing diorama. But for me personally the best thing is using bricks with axle holes to create stars in the sky! That's brilliant! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  3. Hello! A beautiful scene! I always love seeing water surfaces! The green is great, and you even used different shaed below the tiles to mimic the different depths of water. Fantastic! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  4. Hello! A nice space station! It features several elements that remind me to the building style of classic space bases which I liked a lot. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  5. Hello, and thank you for your nice comments! I am glad to finally have posted another Star Wars mini after some weeks, and hopefully will have the time to take photos of some more. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  6. Hello! That's another nice use for wheels, which I always tend to have left over from vartious creator sets. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  7. Hello! That's a nice bike, especially the pilot cabin using two mudguard pieces. However, I don't get a Star Wars feeling when looking at this particular minifigure, sorry. Maybe you can change it with a more popular figure from/related to the Star Wars universe. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  8. Hello! A nice combination of sets, typical elements and scenes. It's definitely an enrichment for every shelf where it's placed. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  9. Hello! There's great motion in the scene which is what makes it very attractive. But now wonder everybody is lying on the floor. They're all sliding out without studs on the floor. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  10. Hello! it's a nice representation of a classic scene. As it's only a small layout, I don't mind the small trees. You can imagine the larger trees around the scene. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  11. Hello everybody! It's again time for a new Star Wars mini model. This one is from the animated Clone Wars TV series (season 2: Bounty Hunters; season 3: Wookiee Hunt), and has already been released by LEGO® playset and mini model kit. Let me quickly point out that the following model was built before the release of the official mini set, and had been submitted for a recent BrickJournal issue (the deadline was in february, model built in january). Instructions are available for free for everyone as usually. Thanks for stepping by, and have a great week! ~ Christopher
  12. Hello, and thank you for the nice comments! I am not sure what will be next. Inspiration will tell me. Cheers, ~ Chris
  13. Hello! I like the new cockpit concept. The transparent dish is in excellent use here. May I suggest to widen the rear wings a bit? They seem to be too short and look slightly out of proportion. Maybe you could use 3x6 wedge plates instead. Cheers, ~ Chris
  14. Hello, and thank you for your nice comments! It was really great fun to see every piece finally taking its final place in the little creation. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  15. Hello! Yet another great movie scene! I like the photo technique for the castle wall in the first picture. Whether intended or not, the shiny effect on the wall looks really great! Cheers, ~ Christopher

    MOC: farm

Hello! A really pretty little farm! The roof has a very tcpical shape and makes it instantly reconisable as a farm house. Another detail I like are the electricity pylons, things that are not often added to town scenes. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  17. Hello! That's a nice playset layout! It's nice you can open it and look into the interior. As a possible refinement you could add a little access from the ground to the top level. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  18. Hello! Using the canoes as wings is a pretty inventive idea! It works out very well here, as you filled their hollow side with lots of greebly details. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  19. Hello! It's amazing how you managed to let her look that agile and realistic like in the movie. You succeeded with your task to let her look organic! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  20. Hello! The oversized hands and feet suit it really well! Especially the alternate use of the wooden boxes is quite original. Cheers, ~ Christopher

    Dragon Ship

Hello! That's a great tribute to the wedge plates! You've designed a great looking starship with original techniques to realise this particular shape. Well done! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  22. Hello! This little scene prooves that even with little bricks and simple techniques you can get a maximum effect and a great outcome! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  23. Hello again! You're really doing a great job with creating key scenes from popular movies. Your vignettes are a pleasure to look at. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  24. Hello! Great rendition of an crucial scene! You've captured the message and the motion in your picture. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  25. Hello everybody! Today I'd like to share another creator alternative building set with you. This time I have combined two pretty similar sets: 5761 Mini Digger and 6742 Mini Off-Roader. They both only cost 4.99 EUR / 4.99 GBP / 5.99 USD, and have a combined piece count of 120 pieces. As there are so many official creator cars, I decided to do something comepletely different again: a little yellow submarine! It uses more than 100 of the available pieces. It is a clean design with clear colour lines, just like the great designer set 4888 Ocean Odyssey. It comes complete with transparent bubble cockpit and even a rear window, two gripper arms, plenty of headlights, quad propeller engine (three rear, one front), and a nice greebly top with all the technical stuff. Here is a detail view of cockpit, headlights and arms: In this view you can see a little SNOT technique. It was needed to attach cockpit and arms in a different orientation. It was a bit tricky due to the limited SNOT pieces in the two sets. It's a combination of headlight bricks and a 1x4 bracket. And finally a shot of the rear cockpit. Of course there are building instructions available which you can access here: Creator Submarine building instructions With that I am done for today. If you are interested in more creator alternatives by me and other people of these great forums, check out Rufus' Creator Alternatives Index. Thanks for stepping by, and have a great week-end! Yours Christopher.
