  1. Hello everybody! Today I'd like to share a small deep sea diorama with you. It comes complete with a little submarine, a crab and shark, as well as a shipwreck. So let's explore the deep sea. Or if you prefer the deep DARK sea. Thank you for stepping by. Have a good start into the new week, ~ Christopher
  2. Hello! That's a really special creation! It's an original and very funny idea. I like the little radio you have attached and the colour scheme is just perfect. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  3. Hello! They're really green! Each of the vignettes is spot-on, and it's great you're showing the complete set to us before they are pulled apart. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  4. Hello! It's a nice and compact combination of curved slopes. The black and tan colour scheme also looks pretty good. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  5. Hello! A really sleek starfighter design! I like the concept. Except for the 2x2 round tiles on the engine tips. It looks so flat. Maybe the 2x2 domes would work better? Cheers, ~ Christopher
  6. Hello! A great starfighter design. The dark green goes well together with the yellow. I also like the use of old hinge plates to obtain that cockpit angle. I am curious about the name. Why F-39? Couldn't it be F-21? That would fit so well with the nice printed tiles on the side. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  7. Hello, and thanks for the ongoing discusssion. I think I already answered the question twice. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  8. Hello! I am always impressed by convertible mocs, and this is no exception. It's amazing how the nice inconspicuous truck suddenly completely transforms into a menacing battle machine. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  9. Hello! A great addition to the Blacktron III theme. It's a unique layout with many moving sections. May I suggest to add a bit more dark gray pieces here and there? This looked so good on your first creation and sharpens the shape of the otherwise only black construction. On another note, I would recommend a grey-shaded background instead of the glaring red background. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  10. Hello! As a fellow instruction maker I know how much time it takes, and thus I appreciate your efforts to give everyone the opportunity to build these great figures. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  11. Hello again, and thank you everyone for your kind comments. I am glad you are enjoying these alternate models as much as I do. Most probably yes. But from different sets. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  12. Hello! Again a very impressive virtual building. The new cockpit section is very original and very accurate! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  13. Congratulations! Have a great day! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  14. Thank you for the motivating information. The series is definitely on my to-watch-list. Meanwhile, I'll continue with some ships maybe? Cheers, ~ Christopher
  15. Hello! That's a really fantastic neo-Blacktron creation. I like the color scheme with the dark bluish gray. That makes it clearly different from Blacktron I and II but still similar enough to see the relation to the former series. It would really be great if we had a completely fan-made Blacktron III theme. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  16. Hello! A great piece of micro architecture! The small 1x1 slopes work pretty well for forming the hill. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  17. Hello everybody, if you're not yet tired of Star Wars models made of non Star Wars sets, I'd like to present a CIS AAT to you which is made entirely out of parts of Designer Set 4098. I admit that I really enjoyed playing around with this little set and its great parts collection >>> Click here for building instruction <<< [ 4098: Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter | 4098: Vulture Droid Starfighter ] Thanks for your time and interest. Have a good week! Cheers, Christopher
  18. Hello! That's really excellenece in scene. It's amazing what pieces you have used to create these brick figures. What impresses me most here is that you did not simply change the color scheme for each of the troopers, but instead you realised every little detail of personal customisation of their battle suits. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  19. Hello! A really fantastic looking skyhopper! I appreciate the solution you have found to include a "trigonal" glass to both sides of the cockpit by hiding this windscreen pieces under the structure. Very clever! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  20. Hello! Those vehicles are again bristling with stunning techniques, Ralph! There are many things to discover, for example the inventive mudguards of the first trcuk and the brick-built ladder to its roof. Another thing that I like is a very simple effect: The 2x2 plates within the wheels. I can't explain it, but it simply looks right. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  21. Hello! That's indeed a useful modification as it still uses only pieces of that set. So everyone who owns it can modify it like this now. It's a creative inverted attachment of the landing gear too. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  22. Hello! That's a great architectural build! You are using some really unexpected elements but these were the perfect choice for the complex design of the Sagrada Familia. The diagonal colums for example with clicky hinges and technic axle or the support pillars which contribute details to the surface by their unique structure. Well done! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  23. Hello again everyone, and thank you for the nice comments! I am glad we have a constructive discussion here, and I will gladly give more information to answer your questions. I chose the slightly bigger elements because the wings are relatively thick in the model, and I wanted the engines to be clearly thicker than the wings. Hence I went with the heads instead of the bricks. It always looks pretty easy once you see the finsihed model. But it's really harder than it looks to come up with a good result when you have nothing yet. Well, yes, that might be true. I just haven't found the time yet with all the other scifi series I am involved. Thanks everyone for your interest and comments! My curiosity about Babylon 5 is now much greater than before, so you can probably expect more ships from the series. See you around, Christopher
  24. Hello! What I like abou this walker is the good hybridisation between technic elements and normal bricks. It really works well here. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  25. Hello! A nice idea. I'd have a suggestion if allowed. The reference image clearly shows that the floor is of a different type around the platform than on top of the platform. I think that normal studs and a tiled platform would show these lines much better than having everything tiled. Cheers, ~ Christopher
