  1. I know English word "please". So you don't need to refer to Russian translation. And it seems quite offensive. OK, let's read again. That parts is right, I agree. Seems that I shouldn't have written "totally wrong". Nope. As I said the 8878 is the rechargeable one. The AAA box similar to 8878 in dimensions is 88000. I won't buy an expensive Li-Po battery only because sometimes it is difficult to remove battery pack. The main features for me - recharge ability and non-decreasing current. But for someone the possibility to charge it without disassembling may be critical, I agree. OK, not totally, but still partially incorrect and not full answer that can mislead.
  2. Every reply here is totally wrong. First of all, 8878 - is rechargeable Li-Po Battery box. Nominal voltage - 7.4V. Maximum (after charging) ~8.3V. AAA box is 88000. And AA battery box is 8881. 8878 is lighter and gives current without lose while discharging. AA and AAA usual batteries give maximum current only for the first few minute. The reason that 8878 is not used often is the price. All LEGO battery boxes have a similar protection (except the newer AA boxes, that don't have protection) that can give guaranteed maximum of 750mA. (mAh is the capacity, mA - current). In fact they can give 1A for a long time period. And up to 3A for only a second. It is the protection. Maximum current depends on used batteries. More information about LEGO Battery Boxes and testing is here: http://philohome.com/batteries/bat.htm
  3. Did you try restarting only the App several times without restarting the device and BuWizz? It worked to me. And you can try another device from your family or friends. Good luck! It worths the efforts:)
  4. Try restarting the App. In previous comments many people shared their experience about firmware update and solved the same problem with restarting the App. I have restarted the App several times...
  5. I agree, the brick isn't that much intuitive to be used without instructions. I got my unit recently and had some doubts because it isn't that obvious that the BuWizz should be turned on to check out the charging process. I had to try about fifteen times before it finally was updated. It is funny that the progress bar was moving only when I were looking at it and when I looked away it stopped. So the last time I tried i was sitting for a few minutes looking how progress bar slowly moved:) Besides of all this I really like how stable the connection is. The official SBrick App can't provide the same connection stability with SBrick on my cheap Android table. Hope they will release a gamepad support or at least BLE protocols so Imurvai could make it:)
  6. You can change 24z gear below worm gear with the clutch gear. Or you can just swap 8z gear and clutch gear.
  7. Yep. They will sent an invite through TestFligth app. They did it for me but, sadly, it does work only with iOS 9.3 or newer. Still I am very interested if this is the final version or there will be some major changes.
  8. Wow! I really like how you reverse-engineered this and other things. I will show this topic to author. I think he will be glad to know that his MOC was reverse-engineered.
  9. Nice! Watched with pleasure, very funny and original competition:)
  10. I have just seen this post in FB. I guess they will gather shipping addresses soon.
  11. Funny photo taken during trial meeting in Moscow. It is small Unimog on Thirdwigg's Iveco, Iveco is on Madoca's Tatra and Tatra fits very well on Indominus back:) Indominus inspired me to make my own fast and lightweight 8x8:)
  12. Not only in the Hot Rod. Medium blue is present in 42036 and 42037, too.
  13. Seems I have missed something. Are you talking about new battery boxes with slightly different colour? I didn't know that internals of BB changed. Need to check that out:)
  14. Nice build, I like it! Does those rims fit 8448 tire well?
  15. You can see from the link you have posted that the power of the 2838 motor is about 1/5 of the power of buggy motor. Speed isn't equal to power:) Speed * Torque = Power. And buggy motor is the most powerful one. When you gear down a motor speed decreases and torque increases but power of motor remains the same.
  16. Here is the axle that is driven, steered and has differential, portal hubs and three-link suspension. There is no differential on photos because I could find a spare one, but it will fit:) Unfortunately there is no gear reduction in portal hubs, because only two 8-tooth gears can be fitted inside the rim. And I am not sure that all those parts are available in 42043 but I think that it can be rebuilt with 42043 parts. I have another idea with much robust portal axle that uses 8:16 gear reduction in portal hubs but differential cannot be fitted there if 19 studs of width are needed.
  17. Is differential needed? Without differential it is possible to make 19 stud wide axle, including the wheels. I will try.
  18. What about 8448 tires? I really like their proportions and thread. Can you try them and show us?
  19. I don't remember any asking for a shipping address, too. I think they will gather shipping addresses after they will be ready to ship. By the way, I really hope that delays only made BuWizz better and software will work flawlessly. And I will be really disappointed if no gamepad support will be provided.
  20. I don't know that anyone had experience of broken motors that were connected directly. Any statistics available? I do couple motors very often for more than a year. Nothing went bad. Difference of RPM in different motors of the same type is very minor and it just forces one motor to turn slower just like it has some load. Lego motors can be stalled without any bad consequences for them. And it is connected with how powerful motors are. Lego motors nominal voltage is higher than 9V, they do not work in full power. And if something went wrong there are several things that will occur before the motor itself will be burned: motor's thermal protection will cut the power, IR-receiver or SBrick will cut power, battery block will cut power, axles will be twisted, parts will be broken or anything else will occur but no burning of motor itself.
  21. Look into instructions of the chassis of 41999. It is just the same like in the 9398. No need to disassemble the chassis of 9398. Such questions are very very strange. Have you ever built the 9398 or did you get it already assembled? If you have built it you must know what kind of "nightmare job" (nightmare in Lego? Why then do Lego anyway?) you need to do.
  22. Mad Max came to my mind firstly, too:) I like how the links are working. Nicely done! I think some more black color won't make it worse.
  23. There are reviews of old sets done by Desert Eagle with English subtitles available, may be you will be interested in them: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLgIsNOjw64YvBqdLMLuJ4MdSD_vLSBzdn By the way, I have 8458 and 8480, may be one day I will make reviews and speed builds:)
  24. It seems like personal messages doesn't work here or I have some problems with them. If anyone has sent me an entry, please, copy it here with some contacts (Facebook, e-mail) to make sure we can contact you and deliver all necessary information about the event.
  25. Will it be possible to set degrees of EV3/NXT motor's rotation? Or they will work like PF usual motor?
