    Okay, I didn't want to be impatient, just wanted make sure I didn't miss it or something. :) Yeah, my IRL issues made me less active. I try to make up with the Nocturnus alliance plot, but events in Kaliphlin are so fast, there are at least dozens of stories I should read. And building...I don't know when :S

    Why is the chess table turned 90 degrees? At the right hand of each player, there should be a light field, not a dark.

    I can't find where the 10687-1: Spider-Man Hideout was discussed. How old is that piece of news? I just saw it today. The Green Goblin in it looks not bad at all.

    There is a way to "move" those parts into the minifig's hand, but the software won't consider it as a connection. The tile will just levitate at the hand but at least it looks realistic. There is a youtube video that shows how to do it, and I have a template file for it.

    It is good to read so many thought about the advent calendar. My only problem is that I don't see any pictures here..

    The car in the Dilophosaurus set looks very good. The others are average, but the choppers look quite lame. But maybe it is the fault of the movie.

    Actually Halloween should mean only costumed characters and no monsters, since there are no monsters even at Halloween. :)

    Is it the 1st occasion we see Anfauglir without the hood? His hair (or wig?) is surprising to me, but not bad. The story or the build don't need any more praise, I'm still a huge fan!

    The werewolf is a turned Series 5 lumberjack, ha-ha Most of them looks pretty good, like the zombie cheerleader or the witch. The mad scientist looks too plain to me though. And the skeleton guy looks quite familiar.

    I see at least 5 aliens! Series 3, 6, 8, 9, 13, and I didn't even think about it too much.

    It would be hard to come up with 16 monsters that never happened in previous series and/or Monster Fighters, so some repeats are unavoidable. But some variations (Nosferatu vampire, zombie wearing some kind of uniform, sexy witch ) can still make it a great wave.

    I just wanted to do this. It doesn't look that bad, I guess. (I couldn't find a good topic for it. Any moderator, feel free to merge it if it fits anywhere.)

    They used the names in case of Lincoln and Shakespeare but not for Sherlock, Cleopatra and Red Riding Hood. Where is the consistency in it? And no, the movie has nothing to do it. Why would it?

    The decision process of what sets are made into production...is something we can barely understand. Many-many factors like cost, playability, how difficult it is to build, etc. I'm sure there are many sets each year that never go into production because of company decisions - I would love to know the ratio though :) So what sounds a bad idea/missed opportunity from our side are "Which very cool sets should we produce out of these 3, if we have capacity only for 1?" questions over there. If there would be a "behind the curtain" book written by LEGO employees - with the permission of the company of course, without any business secrets - I would buy it instantly :)

    Thanks for the water tower info! That connection with the 1x3 tile is superb. Lego can still surprise me with the limitless possebility. :)

    It is amazing to see still so many minifig that TLG didn't do yet. So much idea for my advent calendar next this year!

    Can you please take some pictures/explain how the water tower is built? I understand that there are some tank treads bot how exactly? And it is "There can be only one"!
