Definitely the 7190. I have owned both that and the 4504. The 4504 looks nice but is a pain to build with a lot of fragility in places and it has a very low swooshability factor. The 7190 although basic is a simple elegant design, large printed pieces, great figs and only the supports at the bottom tend to fall off when swooshing around.

What about the old technic sets of Jango, Darth etc or the mindstorms Star Wars sets.

Thanks for providing the new clearer pictures. I was more enthusiastic when there was only a blurry pic, it really does just look like a mini on steroids and I'm not a mini fan, so this will be coming off my wanted list. I'll stick to my much loved by me and much maligned by many others 7190 Falcon.

Simple really, read the answer 4 posts up and put it in your own words

Now for the intermediate level challenge, of course if it comes and I can't solve it, it is because I'm too busy, not that I'm too stupid.

I don't think it was people's intention here to make fun of you but to show you how Lego works and that the way you approached them wasn't going to influence them to get what you want. However your new approach seems to have done the trick and they have made a note that at least one person wants the big blue baseplate, and if they get more people like you it will increase the chances of it becoming reality. ANyway I have my fingers crossed for you that the baseplates become available soon.

And one further way is to put three on each side of the scale, the lighter side will contain the light brick. From this light side, take any two bricks, if the bricks weigh the same, the one left over is the light brick, if bricks don't way the same, then obviously the lighter brick is the light one.

Have a great one!

I like the second photo best, the trees look good. I'm definitely not an expert but maybe a little more action type posing of the minifigs would add to the pics.

yeah you got something and they are going for $100 on bricklink 12 V motor or do what others have done and reverse your number and get a cute old classic space set 6805 astro dasher

Approximately 600. To others using brickset, at the moment I believe it underestimates your figs count a little, I have numerous sets that brickset says have fewer figs than they actually do, but it's a great feature for getting an approximation.

Thanks for the review, I'll have to get myself some when I next place a shop at home order, given I'm about to get out of my rental dump and move into a luxurious new house with really high tech features like a working oven! The construction worker is actually the only one I like, it's the woman at the end next to him that's freaking me out.

Welcome, the thing that stood out to me in the MOC was the use of the tiles on the outside of the wall which I think looks fantastic. A very innovative use of the wheel as well.

I think it's meant to show how the hood is stitched together rather than being one smooth piece of material, another nice touch I didn't notice before.

Thanks for the pics, given the quality look of this set I think I'm going to have to get two copies. The AT-ST is way more impressive than I thought it would be and the ewoks look great, I particularly like the fact that eyes are discernible. The use of different heads on the rebel troops is a nice touch when they could have so easily got lazy and made them the same.

I tried searching but couldn't find the gift, so I'll have another stab in the dark and say the Shipwreck Hideout Pirate set because of its cool female pirate minifig.

I really don't think designers get any ideas from fans, they're highly creative people that have no problem coming up with many ideas on their own. This letter wouldn't have made it anywhere near the designers. When Lego wants input they ask for it, and they give fans a lot more input than most companies. A suggestion for next time you write to them, ask if there are plans for a particular set within a theme that you'd like to see made, because if there seems to be a lot of demand for something it is more likely to get made. Sure you won't get a more helpful response back, they'll tell you they can't release this kind of information blah blah blah but it will at least let them know what at least one fan would want.

Just bought the new Doves cd, Kingdom of Rust and it's getting a good play in my car.

Lego Star Wars 10th anniversary exclusive on May 3 and 4
Hewman replied to Commander Assassin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Patience my young apprentice... We don't even know what it is, if it's a chrome Vader, it will come here (Aus) in time and it will have its own unique promotion like the gold c-3po. Also we're very lucky to live in the age where if you have the money you can buy whatever you want from overseas. I'm just grateful that back in 1979 the US didn't get the classic space 918 set but I could get it at my local toy store, but that's a little off topic. -
Some great work there, I particularly love the photocopier. Just one question, where is the pipe running down from the toilets (at least that's what I assumed it to be given you oculd hear everything going on in the adjacent toilets)?
-
My second guess for the present was the kitchen scale svelte_corps reviewed, basically because us guys are idiots at buying gifts but I assumed that you're a more astute partner than I am, so went for something she would really like. And I concur with svelte_corps, this is a great game.

1. Star Wars 2. Set 6210 (Jabba's Sail Barge) (those lattice like 8 x 8 pieces in tan are only available in two sets so that was a big hint) 3. Harry Potter Lego, in particular Troll on the Loose, set number 4712 (Based on her expressing in another thread that she's trying to track down HP lego and would love a troll).

Aliens v Monsters - 3D. After absolutely loving Bolt 3D this was a big disappointment, although some of the 3D effects were spectacular, the story line was rather weak, and definitely not written well enough to keep an adult engaged.

Damn you Darth Legois, I just found the topic and was about to edit my post!

Do you keep your Lego Boxes?
Hewman replied to RememberTheLittleGuy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yep, I keep them, still have plenty of classic space boxes dating back to 1979.
