South Africa is the past, Italy had a different trainer at that time. You have Buffon, Pirlo, Cassano, and Balotelli. Each of them is either pretty good, or pretty good and unpredictable.
-
The result is what I expected. I didn't expect that it would come to penalties, though. I don't think it was "fairly even". Italy was more active, generated far more chances, had 74 % ball possession, and simply was the better team. It was a pretty interesting match, though. I'm really looking forward for Italy - Germany Today, Germany never was able to defeat Italy in a major tournament. But again, I think that was true for Spain and France as well

I find watching Spain taking control of a game always fascinating. Xabi Alonso had one chance to score, and I think it was a brilliant display of determination (he wanted that goal) and ability, a combination I really, really appreciate. Their defense simply vaporised the French ability to create chances. I think the Spanish game exposed all of France's weaknesses, while France still doesn't function as a team.

Another great build Could you post pics of the bottom side and pics showing how the speeder is attached, please?

A pitty. I think they made a pretty good game.

I was pretty surprised as well...wait, I've said that before With 0 points in their group, the Netherlands lost all their games. Well. They have 2 years to recover and to solve their problems. I hope, that in 2014 they'll perform better. It's a pitty for van Bommel; I think it was his last tournament. I was under the impression that the German team was pretty lucky to win the match against the Danish team. I wasn't surprised that Danish team was comparatively difficult to defeat. However, I'm rather relieved that the German team made it. I hope that the Danish team will make further progress. What I saw was very promising (neutral view), or, more precisely, frightening (German view).

You're right :) I'm curious which characters will make it to the end of the series. I've never read the books, and I'm a bit hesitant with doing so before I have seen the series.

I told my colleague yesterday that I hope that Poland will win, but that I believe that the Czech team will win. I can't exactly say that I'm happy that I was right. I was a bit surprised that Russia couldn't score against Greek. At least for me, this tournament is full of surprises.

I'm not exactly disappointed. I would habe liked a different piece for the cockpit, though. As for the rubber bands, I don't like where they are placed. I'd prefer if they were placed less obvious, though.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion
Brickadeer replied to LEGOman273's topic in Culture & Multimedia
You may be right; I actually have no idea. We all know what happened in Episode II and III, and we know what will happen in Episode IV. And we know that certain characters from TCW won't make it to Episode III. I have no idea, though, how this will happen, and what Maul's role will be. I think that the show is not more as linear as it was in the beginning when it was just about a war between the republic and the separatists, with different side-plots and developments of certain characters. I still have no idea who will die in Season 5. I find it interesting that Maul calls Dooku a "Sith pretender", and for me, it makes sense for both Dooku and Sideous. Sideous has no ambition to let his students become more powerfull than he is, and Dooku seems to lack ambition in order to overcome Palpatine. Maybe, that's why he regards himself and Opress as "the true Sith Lords". -
Excellent build Elegant, simple, and to the point, but doesn't lack details.

Great scene Large numbers of plain white stormtroopers simply look awesome in a forest. That's probably why Palpy didn't send camouflaged troops.

REVIEW: LEGO Star Wars 9496 – Desert Skiff
Brickadeer replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Excellent review I find it pretty hard to say something bad about this set. The skiff is beautifull, and so are the minifigs. To me, this is one of the most complete sets ever created for LSW. -
Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion

Thanks for the trailer I think that the introduction of Maul makes things much less predictable. -
Thanks for the review! Unlike Mr. Man, I wouldn't go so far to say that something is "wrong with TLG now". To me, there is no "level of detail issue". But I would agree that the heads of Boushh and the Gamorrean Guard are a bit oversized, and that I would have preferred them to be a bit smaller. Lando's helmet in 9496 on the other hand has the right size.

It's beautiful What I find most intriguing is the impression generated by your usage of the colors green, white, and blue. More than anything, this looks somehow fabulous.

Storywise, I like it much better than chapter 8, which, to me, was the weakest chapter so far. I still have no clue how the story will end, so I'd like pretty much to continue with chapter 10 right now The builds and minifigures are brilliant. The orc fortress is beautiful, and so is the view on the capital city.

I have the same problem, but only, when I'm not logged in.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Brickadeer replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks for the pics GRogall To me, both sets look pretty good. Not surprisingly, Viszla can be found on ebay: Uploaded with ImageShack.us The cranny for the force lightnings in 9526 seems like a feature that can be exploited by Oky -
Oh I'm not sure why you tend to die so often at level 20. Personally, I like playing more safely to accumulate wealth. If you prefer playing risky, I'd use t8 equip only and I wouldn't use stat pots on this character. The Necromancer is perfect for a safe playstyle since he can heal himself while dealing comparatively much damage. He doesn't seem to be a great choice against Oryx, though (of course the blame goes to character, and not to me ). As I have shown, you can make Oryx drop items with relatively weak characters, which can be a relatively easy way to get items. Plus, it doesn't matter if such characters die.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Brickadeer replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think the CW Palpatine looks pretty much like, well, the CW Palpatine. He has bigger eyes, which is necessary to give him blue pupils. All in all, I think it's a pretty good minifigure, which can be immediately recognized. Compared to him, the new 9526 Palpatine looks more like a youngling to me. The "evil" face looks like a clever crossover of his new face and the face of sw210 Palpy. -
It is. Now, at least I can make Oryx drop if there are not too many people. Otherwise, he's dead too fast. Def is maxed again
