  1. Don't you think that if he could he'd done so already?
  2. Maybe. Maybe someone filmed it and loaded it up somewhere. Personally, I prefer to wait until it airs.
  3. That's the point. To my opinion, the ARC trooper was praised beyond what I'd think to be appropriate. My fear is that this fact my constitute an incentive for Lego to do only minor changes, or no changes at all: change the fin, change the printing, and enough people may like it. If you compare these two pictures http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111101014112/starwars/images/7/73/JesseOnUmbara-DOU.jpg http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120329170118/starwars/images/e/e8/Colt-CC.jpg you'll recognize that *at least* the mouth pieces are different.
  4. "Slave of the Republic" arc, episode 1.
  5. Interesting. Doesn't make me exactly not wanting to see season 5.
  6. I'm not so negative about the clones. If we'll see phase II troopers, the big question to me is whether or not they will get the helmet right. The ARC trooper helmet wasn't bad, but compared to the stormtrooper helmet, the mold lacked details, and I didn't find the pauldron convincing, too.
  7. I'm still not interested in the TOR sets. That the droidekas turned out to be sniper droidekas is a bit disappointing. I find it very hard to think of something that is less needed for army building but a sniper droid. But I still hope that the AT-RT is a PT set; I find it very unlikely that all sets containing clones will be from TCW and none from the PT.
  8. We could get them every day, but noone knows for sure. Today, episode 1 of season 5 will be shown on Celebration VI. Season 5 will be aired in September.
  9. The question is what you want. The figs of 8092 are partly outdated, but I like te speeder. TOR sets are of no interest for me. 9525 is nice, especially if you like TWC figs. If money is no issue, I'd take 9525.
  10. Excellent. I just read through the story and I find it pretty good; unfortunately, I don't have the time to watch your builds. I can't wait to read part 2 and 3.
  11. I think if anything is shown, it will be tomorrow... http://starwars12.mapyourshow.com/5_0/sessions/sessiondetails.cfm?ScheduledSessionID=1FA1&CFID=64092733&CFTOKEN=144129411cad1e2c-25715D2B-0F91-03BB-26645954CB029F67 .. and/or Saturday: http://starwars12.mapyourshow.com/5_0/sessions/sessiondetails.cfm?ScheduledSessionID=18AA&CFID=63387076&CFTOKEN=1bc509c5f378029-27FB8DEB-C531-1440-67CD43F4C4AAD66B
  12. I basically agree with Bobsy. I never saw the 2003 series, though. As for the 2008 series, I was pretty underwhelmed by the pilot film. If you should watch it and end up thinking, "Wow, that was crap, wasn't it?", that's normal. If you have the time and if you like Star Wars, watch it.
  13. That's pretty lame; it seems to be a Celebration VI exclusive, which probably means that it isn't a regular set. I think I'll wait till Sunday to whether or not the show comes up with some useful information.
  14. Due to a guy at http://forum.rebelscum.com/t1084845-5/, an exclusive model will be presented. I don't know though when it will be presented, nor if other sets will be presented. Time will tell
  15. Yes, Anakin seems to have the nasty tendency to show off with all the nifty tools he has at his disposal.
  16. He used a yellow Eta-2 in the opening scene of RotS, yes. And, as you said correctly, a green one later.
  17. Personally, I think it is a great set. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that the droid's torso isn't the same as in 7877. @KDM: Maybe the scene wasn't played too well, but it clearly is a key scene. The point is that Obi Wan didn't kill Anakin despite the fact that Yoda told him to do so, and that he couldn't kill Anakin because of his personal feelings, be it love, friendship, compassion, whatever. As Dave Filoni pointed out, that makes Obi Wan responsible for all future actions of Darth Vader, a responsibility Obi Wan had to take. In the long run, it turned out that Obi Wan was right to give in to his personal feelings, since Vader was the only one left with the capability to kill Sidious, while Yoda was wrong (again). In that regard, not killing Vader created the opportunity for the "Return of the Jedi", that is the return of Anakin Skywalker. But the fact that he was right doesn't remove his responsibility: on a large scale, Vader's death wouldn't have changed anything since Yoda failed to kill Sidious. In a certain sense, however, Obi Wan so to say determined who'd pay concretely for his decision not to kill Vader, making him personal guilty for every single person killed by Vader's actions.
  18. Good review, excellent shots I'm suprised to learn that Padme doesn't look as ugly as she does on earlier pics.
  19. Excellent review Building the stap made me crazy. If you look at the last picture of the stap in the instructions, you'll see that they build it slightly different than you did (the grey/blue front part is so to say one stud deeper: it is build exactly like 30004). When you do that, however, you'll find that the two upper 1x1 blue round studs are pointless: their only function is to make the whole build too high, so that the droid either can't see anything or "flys" above the part of the structure his feet should rest on. Applying them makes sense only if the front part is placed one stud higher like you did, which results in the "too high" problem described above as well. Which is why I decided to build it like 30004, that is, without applying the two studs. I always liked the AT-TE. What bothered me a bit that compared to 4482, the back of the model is a step back with regards to functionality: the back of 4482 could be opened to release a speeder, 7675 doesn't offer such a feature. The back can be opened, but it's pretty pointless. I always wondered what the restrictions were the designers had to work with
  20. Beach Party Madness Event ends tomorrow (August 21). Unluckily, I don't have the time to participate.
  21. If they make phase II Wolfpack troopers, I hope the color scheme will be changed and more adequate, like here:
  22. I agree in part and differ in part. The only scene I can think off that connects Yoda and an AT-RT is at the end of episode 3: the battle of Kashyyk. So I don't think it'll be an assassin droid. Even for a TCW set that'd make no sense. I wouldn't be surprise if we'd get a new Kashyyk trooper.
  23. As a whole, the wave doesn't appeal to me. I'm mostly interested in the sets containing clone troopers, and I wonder if they'll phase I or II, and PT or TCW. On the other hand, TLG's recent sets were pretty good, so I won't condemn the sets of this wave at this point of time on the base of the rumor list. I'm not interested in any TOR sets, though.
  24. I think the current priority is to re-design and re-release older sets, while keeping pace with the developments in TCW, not mention that the TOR line may be continued. So I think yes, such sets have some potential, but I don't think that they are Lego's priority right now.
