LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 Rumors and Discussion

Blech. I hope not. I have a "Gotta catch 'em all" mentality...- 1,421 replies

It's Wiley Fusebot for me - I just love this minifigure. I know the Knight is going to win because of everyone's love of the castle theme, but I just think Wiley is so unique. I do wish that Lego would use the coonskin cap mold again, make a frontiersman for the regular CMF line.

I would chalk it up to this - "You just march to the beat of your own drum"! :) I know I do! :)

Easily the Forest Maiden for me, although I really like the Sheriff and Detective a lot, too.

That's very impressive! Great job!

Banshee. Totally epic figure, in my book. Great printing, great new hair mold in a cool translucent color, and that interesting ghost bottom half. Hands down one of my favorites. I also really liked Zombie Cheerleader but she had the misfortune of being put up against my beloved Banshee.

I voted Evil Dwarf, partially because I like fantasy creatures. I like the Jewel Thief as a character in my collection, but she's pretty basic. I can understand the appeal of the Roman Soldier, although I do not own him.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 18 Rumors and Discussion
DarrellBricker replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Doesn't have to be a queen ... I was thinking more stylized, with red translucent parts and such to represent the ruby. But it was just a thought. No one knows anything for 100 percent certainty, they only have rumors that it's not happening in 2018. Beyond that, you'll just have to be patient, and wait and see like the rest of us. -
Satyr, not a doubt in my mind over this one!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 18 Rumors and Discussion
DarrellBricker replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
If Series 18 is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the minifigure, I wonder if they will do a Ruby-themed character since Ruby is the 40th anniversary symbol. I am sure they could make that into a costume of some sort, like a Ruby Queen or something like that. -
I voted Vampire. Animal Control was a close second, and Demolition Dummy was also pretty cool. I don't have him, though, and never really studied him closely so he was edged out by the cool looking vampire.

I picked the Judge. I thought it was a very interesting figure, with the new-ish robe and hairpiece. Bagpiper was a very, very close second. Had a tough time with this one, really.

Extraordinary! So impressive!

Designs like these and Robert8's are a large part of the reason why I'm so disappointed that the Lego Group isn't doing 2 regular CMF series a year for, allegedly, the next couple of years at least. Obviously, there is so much untapped potential that the CMF line is, quite literally, only limited by imagination.

These look really great! I would get them all! Love the Forest Fairy, Sand Demon, Frontiersman, and Hunter God especially!

I voted for the Librarian because she has a lot of character for being a simple minifigure. Banana Man was a cute idea, but overall was kind of unappealing ... :D ... I mean lackluster. I did think the spectre was cool, and I like the Ringmaster ... hard choice this time.

Definitely the Yeti - he's so adorable! But I can definitely see why many would like the Clockwork Robot.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 18 Rumors and Discussion
DarrellBricker replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Apropos of nothing, a thought just occurred to me of how funny it would be if they had a Bowling Ball Suit Guy and a Bowling Pin Suit Guy - you could have the one chasing the other around trying to knock him down. Yes, I know: I have a silly sense of humor. -

Well, true, and frankly, it's a year away if all of the rumblings are to be believed. So I'm not getting my hopes up on anything until we hear more ... -
I agree, the Tiki Warrior is the top minifigure here. Although I do have a soft spot for the Rocker - love the purple mohawk!
