  1. can we see part list from your copy? thanks in advance:)
  2. don't give up right now, your model is very, very promising... and you have time to finish it
  3. Yes, that's right. The model presented here was done in collaboration. It's not a stealing. After the contest on vk.com I offered my help in making instructions in stud.io and better looking photos. While I was doing all this I also modified the 1st version with Mikhail's help. Maybe I should mentioned it before, but here is the list of modifications I made: bonnet, front part before the bonnet, pipes, sides of the roof, A pillars a bit wider, completely new baggage with gas tanks, rear axle, abillity to put wide tires, wide tire, mount of the spoiler, completely new supercharger, door handlers, seat, rear and front sides of the car, crankcase protection was added, vents on sides, better placement of wires inside, mount for M motor, steering wheel... maybe something else but I don't remember.
  4. Yes, I modded Mikhail's model. He made the 1st version and I modded his model up to the Fury Road version. The 1st version can be seen here and on my Flickr / Instagram on the photo with brief history. I understand your point, for the first time when you tell me that you are ok with mine entering... I was surprised, because the model do not follow many rules. Thank you anyway! and instructions are available for those who want to support our (Mikhail and Nikolay) effort for future projects. Respect:)
  5. Thank you! You can do it yourself, it's not that hard... mine also static now without power source, those motors used in the model are not expensive Everything not that easy:) Will see No problem, take your time. Everything in the description and on the pictures. Will wait
  6. Well, this model is full of some nifty details, can't remember all of them:) Thanks! Yep, will think about it
  7. Oh! Jim, what a lovely day! :) Thank you for allowing me to participate in the contest! I can put not broken pieces on the model for a video, but it will lose some charm... This model is a bit different than it was on display in Russia, I made tons of changes here and there. "MAX'S ORIGINAL MUSCLE CAR, THE GLORIOUS XB FALCON COUPE - ONCE KING OF THE HIGHWAY NOW A WOUNDED BEAST OF SALVAGE AND SAND, FORCED OFFROAD AND RUNNING ON THE SMELL OF AN OILY RAG. SCOTT HAT AND BELT-DRIVEN BLOWER INTACT BUT BATTERED, REAR TYRE MORE RAG THAN RUBBER, RUSTED THROUGH AND RATTLING WITH ONE TOO MANY REPAIRS AND FAR TOO FEW ORIGINAL PARTS. A LEGEND SPOTTED IN THE GUTTER, PUNCH DRUNK BUT STILL PROUD, LEFT BEHIND BY HISTORY'S DOWNWARD SPIRAL, OUT OF PLACE BUT NEVER OUT OF CONTENTION... SIMPLY THE BEST, TINA."
  8. Thank you! Not sure about a video, prefer photography:) It's stable enough for a static model:))) Tires holds quite well on my model but you need to try. Modern narrow tire (30699) is inside of old wide tire (6594) for stability and it's not stretched. To get interestingly mounted effect just don't mount the tire on one side. I explained all this in the instructions, here is the picture from it: (sorry for the quality it's because of max size limitation) No, just no for Ideas:)
  9. you can buy instructions right now, but if I put it on ideas they will never produce it (technic sets have never won on ideas) and also I wouldn't have the rights to publish instructions for 3 years because of there agreement. Plus, Lego can have all the rights on the design without mentioned the author like it happened with Creator Fiat 500
  10. Many thanks! Yep, this is the second rule why the model does not fit for the contest. In the instructions all the parts are ideal:) From Technic series I also could not find any better Interceptor:) Thank you!
  11. Thanks! Mikhail has done great job to capture all the main details of this car and I tried my best to replicate Interceptor from Fury Road Thank you! It's pretty fast if buwizz powered:) Thank you Vasiliy!
  12. Thank you! True, the baggage section is full of details:) Thank you! The tire is in the part list, there are 5 tires in total. Narrow tire should be placed inside the tire you mentioned. Thank you for your comments! Unfortunately this MOC can not be the entry for Mad Max contest because of this rule: "Entries need to be new (never posted anywhere previously or shown at an event/LUG meeting)" The first appearance of the car was in vk.com/ahdmotors, though the car was a bit different.
  13. Hi everyone! I want to present you Black Interceptor. This Wounded Beast is published in cooperation with Nikolay Gamurar (FX6000/NikolayFX) and Mikhail Biktimirov. The Last of the V8 Interceptors, also known as a "Pursuit Special", is driven by Maxwell "Mad Max" Rockatansky at the end of Mad Max and for the first half of Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior. It is based on an Australian built 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT Hardtop, which was heavily modified to become a police interceptor by the Main Force Patrol. The third and the shortest appearance of the car was in Mad Max: Fury Road which was the inspiration for the Lego version of the legend. At first, Mikhail introduced it on social media vk.com for the LEGENDARY CARS FROM LEGENDARY MOVIES contest in the independent community "AHD Motors" Russia. I immediately fell in love in this creation and decided to modify it to better match the third version from Fury Road with the help of Mikhail. We have spent a lot of time: Mikhail on the design and me on modifications of the model and creation of the instructions. Hope you will enjoy the build and the actual model. Building instructions consist of 222 pages with highly detailed 412 steps. Thank you for your support and likes! Instructions available here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-35846/NikolayFX/black-interceptor/#comments
  14. Here is one more LEGO Technic 1984 TOYOTA 4RUNNER. Thank you for such an awesome model!
  15. Thanks for the instructions on this great model. I made modification without power doors but with 2 L motors with diff for propulsion and some minor cosmetic changes.
  16. As always, you've done the masterpiece! The grey one looks even better. Simplicity always pays! But, one thing I want to mention though. Have you tried using negative offset for wheels in this model and keep the same width of the axles? TLC 80 usually got equiped with such wheels.
  17. Nice looking MOC! I've built my MOD with all black body. What I've changed: Shortened it a bit... especially from back. (for me it looks too long for it wheel base). I wanted to do a lighter version, so I removed all unnecessary tuning stuff. No blue pins and axle-pins at all. Custom painted wheels (Dupli Colour Vinyl & Fabric Coating Gloss Black) Doors and rear part of the body made slightly higher. My only complaint that it uses only one XL motor, yes I want more power:) or I need BuWizz :) P.S. Great instructions! Thanks!
  18. Amazing MOCs from master Madoca! Complex inside and beautiful outside as always. Waiting for an updated/another 4x4 model.
  19. Thanks for the chassis instructions! Maybe some more detailed pictures of the bodywork? :)
  20. Great MOC! instantly recognizable G-Wagen. Are you planning to do instructions?
