Right there with you. Don't see the need for there to be a huge bike build other than so they can kick the brick count, and hence price point, up. I'm pretty new to MOCing, but maybe I can piece together something minifigure-scaled from the pieces.

I don't find him all that interesting, either. He is full of parts that could be useful elsewhere, however. One of those cases where the sum total isn't greater than that of the constituent parts. But, as always, different strokes and all that.

Minifigure Mariachi? Sign me right up! Outside of the Secret Agent (just had a line of those end) and Spooky Boy (it'll really depend on the execution) this series is sounding really fun.

I'm certain on the following: CMF S15 & S16 Creator Propeller Plane (which will promptly get Ninjago Sky Pirate-ized) Nexo Knights Ultimate Lavaria and Beast Master Star Wars Wookie Gunship Dimensions Stay Puft Marshmallow Man There are other things I'm interested in, but LEGO isn't my main thing, so it'll depend. Hoping the Scooby stuff starts going on sale.

It appears someone on 4Chan found the Ultimate sets out in the wild.

I saw an empty S13 display over a price tag that said $4.89, and a couple of S13 packs in a hanging Simpsons S2 display. Thought it was odd, but then they had a couple of Cowler Dragon polybags, so who knows?

It's alright so far. Saw some nice civilian designs that probably won't get made into figures, and we might have the set-up for future monster types.

They look great "in the flesh", as it were. Would have liked the Satyr to have a second, smirking face print, but you can't have everything. I was gonna skip the Mech, but if those hands match S.6 Genie I'll probably grab him, leaving Clumsy Guy as the tosser for the wave for me. I think the only real surprise is the heavy packing of Left Shark.

Something from the Rococo period, or maybe just Red Harrington's hairpiece in white. 1920s "Marcel Wave" 1940s "Victory Curls" Affenschaukeln braids that hang down. I know Endor Leia's work for the pinned-up variety.

It could work. The Scarecrow/Farmer hat is closer to being on model, but I think the big strike against the Paleontologist's pith helmet is the hair plait. Doesn't appear she ever sported one. There are a few ways LEGO could tackle Jane, guess it'll mostly depend on if they do molded heads.

You've got a point in regards to the shape of the face paint. Might have to slap one of my extra Aztec heads on the Wrestler and see how it looks with that mullet.

Could reuse Shakespeare's head piece.... I definitely warmed up to the wrestler once I realized he is totally an homage to UW. My only regret is that i don't have a luchadore for him to tangle with. Off to BL, I reckon!

CMFs, though Nexo Knights, Ninago and Mixels will all likely get some money thrown at them. Aim to pick up that Creator twin-engine prop plane as well.

10 or 11 fair-to-middling out of 16 isn't bad. I'll wait for better pics, but I don't think I'll need to buy many extras.

I'd say I find that hard to believe, but then I see the case counts on some figures that are obviously duds. Like someone else mentioned, there's no accounting for taste.

I think in the long run Shark Suit will be one of the more expensive minifigures. I think Piggy Suit Guy has two or three things working against his price: 1. He was packed four to a case, so he's fairly common. 2. Here in the states you can still find series 12 hanging around. My local Toys R Us and K-Mart still have them, and 3: He's not quite as strong a design as the Chicken or Lizard suits. He'll never be a top 3 costume figure, but once series 12 is a vague memory he might get a bump in price from new and old collectors that missed the boat.

Indeed, and, barring LEGO packing him five to a case, his price will likely skyrocket once series 15 is gone from store shelves. If nothing else he'll make potent trade fodder down the road.

I've hit the Zombie Cheerleader and Tiger Woman pretty hard. I tend to agree that the scientist, frankenrocker and zombie pirate are the only really weak ones in the wave. Should probably grab a spare Banshee or two while I still can.

Worst case we'll have the parts to MOC that ourselves. That net is gonna make Animal Control easy to suss out.

Yeah, looks like the papoose would be akward in the minifigure's hands, but I'm betting she'll have a neck bracket with back stud as well. At least she will when I'm done.
