    Alice's face certainly seems chubby compared to pretty much any of the female minifigures I have. It's almost like her face print is smaller than normal, combined with the way the hair curtains the face in general. Might just be the quality of the pic we've got. Just have to wait and see, I reckon.

    I like the cut of your jib. Perfect recipe for a Hippie Chick, and the S.7 Hippie is overdue a female counterpart. I wouldn't be bothered replacing my MOC one with one like you described.

    Wal-Mart actually dropped the price on 40090, so I grabbed one for parts, and grabbed another Left Shark just because.

    Just noticed that the Imp costume's pumpkin pail has a new print. Kind of impressed, LEGO!

    Some killers in this batch. Can't tell about the female cyborg just yet, and I'll add to the chorus that the "Banana!" print on the BSG was wholly unnecessary. Nothing shown that I won't buy at least one of. Might do the Mariachi like I did Zombie Cheerleaders, and get several so I can have a group display.

    I'm not sure what's going on with Wal-Mart and this line. My local store got series 14 sometime in December, but the one ~20 miles up the road got them not terribly long after release. The kicker is the local store went months between selling that last Simpsons II pack and getting 14, 14 were gone overnight practically, and they STILL have not restocked. They've done the reset, there's a place for them on the shelf (an SII label), but no product. 20 miles Wal-Mart restocked Simpsons II after they sold through 14 and are sitting with a single SII pack. Who knows if/when they'll restock. All the Wal-Marts in the area I've checked have been much the same: Space set aside for the line, but no product ever put out. Thank the toy gods for H-E-B. If they didn't stock them and at UNDER retail I would have flipped my $*%# a while ago.

    I'm kind of appalled at just how many of these I really like. I almost think Genie would have benefited from having a molded head, and Chesire Cat really should have been an accessory, but 8-9 of these (plus multiples of Maleficent and Ursula) are gonna mean I'm not gonna dread seeing these (looking at you, Simpsons series 2) on shelves.

    Mystery Plane Adventures. For $10. I was pretty vexed with much of what LEGO did with the Scooby Do line, but I wanted the Headless Horseman and even I wasn't fool enough to pass at 50% off.

    I was in there the other day looking at the new Mixels and Mighty Micro sets and noticed they were actually cheaper than the S.14. Shame they're sold out.

    My Target still has Simpsons S.2. I got most of what I needed from a regional grocery store (at S.14 clearance price to boot!), but I still need to pick up the wrestler and extras of a couple of others. Wal-mart has been especially lame about stocking these. I've hit FIVE Wally Worlds within ~25 miles of my place and, aside from a single Simpsons pack, nothing.     LEGO will probably give us the much-beloved Goblin/Zombie Pirate Captain scimitar. Even Egyptian Warrior's khopesh would be better than that.

    The team figures are pretty cool, but I'm not impressed with the ghost/demon, though his wings and head piece might make for an interesting Lavaria mod. I'm not gonna pretend I'm a supporter of this reboot, but maybe I can see my way clear to get this one. Build it and the Ideas Ecto-1 at the same time, or maybe scavenge parts to MOC some kind of flying Ecto-2.

    To go along with the S.15 I found yesterday, I found a lone 70401 in the clearance aisle at Wal-Mart. The box was hammered, and the water damage extended to the instruction book, but the bags were sealed. Not the first Castle set I've found at this particular Wal-Mart, either.

    HEB of all places had them. Grabbed three Sharks (What? I kept finding them.), A Queen, Squaw and Farmer. I had a Faun set aside, but I must have forgotten to pick him back up. EDIT: I just checked the receipt, and it turns out I got them for the S.14 clearance price of $2.98.

    We'll see. My first instinct would be to hit TrU, but by the time they (or most of the Wal-Marts in the area) put them out I'd slated my thirst for the line. Target will be an equal waste of time (thanks for nothing, Simpsons Series 2). Perhaps the stores in my area are just lazy?

    As an American that's my natural state on the topic of soccer. However, news of this series did get me to watch the Bundesliga matches we get, so I wouldn't mind getting one of them just for the novelty of it.

    Agreed. I'm of the mind to switch out the colors on some other parts as well, but the over all design is really neat. Guess I'll send the minidolls off to my niece.

    Think I can bash the car and plane together, but I don't think they're something I'd buy before pretty deep clearance pricing.

    I think my annoyance is that the volcanic research helicopter is more or less the same as 60108.

    I think something along the lines of a 1x1 round brick would scale a bit better.

    Hmmm, strikes me as a "same thing, different day" city sub-theme. It's Arctic Exploration in lime green. The volcanic mole hill will go GREAT with the Nexo Knight villains, though!
