    Nice review! I really have to get this fig, although I know I'll have to pay a fortune too. Masked Builder, do you happen to have the long blue cape from the Castle theme? I'd really like to see how this guy looks with the proper cape!

    Is photoshop editing allowed and to what extent? I understand that speech bubbles have to be made somehow, but how about some action bubbles? You know like the Bangs and Splashes in batman comics ...

    If that is the case, they're lying. I think there was a mistake and they're trying to hide it. The sooner they start producing long capes the better ... I'd be keep on trying since in the exclusive designer video shows the minifig with the long cape as does the "boxart" :D

    This new gold is very unlikely to happen though I have nothing against it. If they do release a new POTC wave, they won't redo the Isla de Muerta, where it's only logical to find it. And eve if there is a generic pirate theme coming, I think they'll just use the current POTC gold molds with numbers. Would make much more sense to me ...

    A poll? Interesting decision, I guess we can expect some even results for everyone can vote for himself. The groups make it more interesting since you have to vote for at least two other entries. I'd suggest to make the groups distributions more even, to make it more fair like 21, 21, 20 in this example - maybe next week. And I haven't mentioned it yet - I really love the idea of this competition, many of entries gave me quite a chuckle!

    Simple, yet very effective. But I still have a few suggestions for improvements: - use a black brick built background and a white circle for the moon. - use two capes on Batman and stretch them on each side for the right effect - maybe also use the rubber for the hands position - put Batman even further behind to make Penguin look even fatter - might have some problems with focus then but would let you: - keep the proportion of the original cover format - not so slim and so tall I know it's a bit nit-picking but these changes would make an already cool cover into perfect reflection of the real thing.

    I think the Republic Trooper is a prototype from the factory - it can't have the clone head for: a) they are not clones b) the eyes don't match the line - TLC hasn't mixed CW heads with other themes yet New Ahsoka looks awesome!

    Very nice drawings! Are you only doing unreleased characters and only females? I'd love to se Harley Quinn. And congrats on the tag, looks pretty cool.

    Buy the figure from eBay and get the cracked version of the game! That's what I'm doing - not proud of it - but it's not fair not everyone has the same possibilities for getting the minifigure (country they live in or the system they run the game on vise). I really don't get these economics, all they're achieving this way is skyrocketing after market prices for the figure and that's not even the money they're getting. It's so confusing some times :S

    This is some really interesting reading. Looking at all these pictures makes me want to buy this set, but it's so damn expensive these days ... I hope I'll convince my cousin to sell me his some day. Keep up the good work with blogging, seems they chose the right person :D

    I still haven't found the right minifig to avatar myself and therefor will go with my exploit again. Hope it's all right and that I get a cool idea for my real avatar after this month ... My Superfiction of the default avatar (: Edit: After rereading the rules carefully I think my avatar does not fit into the competition, but I'll leave it like this for the SH month, maybe I'll get some time to create a real superhero ...
