  1. Love these movies! Thanks for sharing @Duncan Young
  2. Not sure about elsewhere, but at the Lego stores in the USA that I have been to its $9.99 for three figures that have legs, torso, head, hat/hair piece plus an accessory. I have been to 6 Lego stores in 4 different states and this has been my experience. Although some have said on here that they have been able to get extra accessories, some said no accessories and I believe 1 person said they didn't have to have complete minifigures just the right number of pieces, which would be 15. Hope this helps.
  3. As of right now these are my favorites. Some vary from time to time but Hazmat Guy, both baseball figures, hot dog suit guy and clumsy guy are definitely my favorites among all the series. 1. Demolition Dummy 2. Mime 3. Baseball Player 4. Hazmat Guy (all-time favorite) 5. Gangster 6. Sleepyhead 7. Daredevil 8. Vampire Bat 9. Mr. Good and Evil 10. Baseball Fielder 11. Welder 12. Wizard 13. Hot Dog Man 14. Spectre 15. Clumsy Guy 16. Spooky Boy 17. Hot Dog Man 18. Brick Suit Girl Disney 1: Buzz Lightyear Disney 2: Hercules Team GB: Brawny Boxer Simpson's 1: Ned Flanders Simpson's 2: Bart Lego Movie 1: Abraham Lincoln Lego Movie 2: Apocalypseburg Abe Batman 1: Red Hood Batman 2: Soccer Mom Batgirl Ninjago: GPL Tech Wizarding World: Luna Lovegood (don't really like WW but I do like the blue medium legs.) DFB: honestly I couldn't care more or less for this series. Nothing but parts for me.
  4. I honestly do not understand all the hate/dislike toward Corner Garage. Its a great set with a lot of neat features.
  5. It's your Lego diorama, make it the way you want it to be. It's your vision and you get to live with it. I'm sure once you have it built up and show some pictures you might get some more helpful suggestions on how to improve the visual appearance, but you just have to start somewhere and make improvements as you go along.
  6. Wow, there has been a whole lot of talk about things that have nothing to do with Lego and not much really to do with modulars in general since @Digger of Bricks posted about the Creator 3 in 1 on Saturday. Maybe we should start playing guess the next modular really early this year. I will just throw a crazy idea out there and guess a planetarium. (I know nothing about the next set for anyone who might think this is inside info)
  7. Someone pass me a Lego knife. Perhaps we can cut out some of this tension!
  8. I love these! Great job getting in so many details. The boomerang piece works great on the cars!
  9. I have been looking for this set for a while now. Do you mind if I ask which store you saw it at?
  10. Very nice build! Keep brickin!
  11. It doesn't have to make sense to you. It's my money. The point is that I have bought most of the sets that interest me from this year and the lack of new sets or information has shifted my focus elsewhere. As opposed to peak times when new sets are coming out so I would buy sets that initially didnt interest me for the sake of expanding my city/collection. Since this time of year we usually have much more new set information the excitement increases and Im more prone to spend money. But the lack of leaks kind of tanks my interest.
  12. That’s good Anyone who has spent time reading thru the forum should know by now that you dislike leaks. I don't think its necessary to restate everytime the topic is brought up. I would suspect you might be in the minority of members who do not like leaks. Perhaps you can create a new thread with a poll or something. I for one enjoy leaked information and the lack of leaks has diminished my interest to the point that I'm spending money that would otherwise have gone to Lego on other interests as there isn't much to get excited about right now. There are pros and cons to leaks but I believe the pros outweigh the cons.
  13. They would remain just as collectible and at the same time reduce the ridiculous aftermarket price from resellers. To me that sounds like a win for fans and Lego, who would take back a good amount of aftermarket sales.
  14. I got the set last week at the Nashville Lego store for spending $40. Not a big fan of the stickered Lego sets but its nice to have some different sets for my Lego store. I love this idea. I might have to try it with my Grand Emporium.
  15. I am missing Market Street, Cafe Corner and Green Grocer. I would love to have rereleases because i wont pay the extortion aftermarket prices for those sets.
  16. This is a great read and you have a gift with words. Thanks for sharing!
  17. This and a lot more zaney Batsuit variations.
  18. I like it. It fits the Lego Batman Movie theme well but not so much the broader DC theme. If nothing else it would be an excellent parts pack for creating your own Bat themed vehicles.
  19. There just aren't words to express how awesome this is! Im jealous of your talent and Lego budget! Great work and I look forward to seeing any future projects you have.
  20. But you could bricklink Velma for a decent price at some point if you wanted to where as you cannot bricklink con exclusives without spending a ridiculous amount of money.
  21. Its not about missing out. Its about it not being produced in sufficient quantities to give people an option to buy it. I missed out on a lot of cool sets in my dark ages. That kind of sucks but maybe I can find them reasonable at a garage sale, 2nd hand store, or online. I waited too long to buy the first Antman set and I missed out. I regretted not buying it when I had the chance. I made the decision not to buy it when I was holding it in my hands because I thought the shelf life would have been longer. It wasn't butthurt. I missed out and it was my fault. But when Lego makes something so incredibly rare intentionally and it is something very desirable to a large part of the Lego community then it is reasonable to be upset over a bad decision like that. A lot of Comic Con exclusive figures do not have a similar official figure available to buy at retail. Your assumption that people are "butthurt" shows that you don't really understand the point of the conversation.
  22. Beautifully executed! Easily recognizable and I have never been to an IKEA store or own anything from one. @CopperTablet that is a great idea. I would love to see that as well.
  23. I have to say I do agree with you. At one point I was 1000% a Lego purist. Everything that was not genuine Lego found its way to the trash or a garage sale. I am a collector as well and I can spend a reasonable amount of money to complete my collection. The artificial rareity you described drives me crazy as well. Because of that, if I find a reasonably priced, acceptable quality knockoff I am willing to buy it. I would prefer to buy Lego brand exclusively but when they make decisions as a company to create ridiculously, stupid, unnecessary rare, expensive items I will gladly buy a knockoff.
  24. Does anyone know anything about the LBM Bat Shooter ploybag 40301. I never saw it in the US and it is the only set from the theme that I am missing.
