Really they should have 2 pumps timed to alternate pumping times, something like the difference between a 2 stroke and 4 stroke engine, one has a power stroke (pump) every rotation, and one has a power stroke every other rotation.

Well, my idea is they did that to make money (I'm not complaining about the figures, I kind of like the choices), because to make a squad of heavies, and regulars, you need to buy 4 packs instead of 2. So, double the money for lego. I just wish the set would have been a transport of some sort to hold all the troops, because the FO troop transport doesn't have that much room, and there are no gunships or anything.

I bet we'll have a blue/white one within a year and a half

When I suggested that technic might be making a series of larger USC type sets...it's a few pages back, you can go check if you want :classic:

I think that would have to be pneumatic...maybe I wrong but it only makes sense to me, because I can't think of any other ways to do that mechanically
