Blackbird whats ur opinion on the ultimate 8043? Or do u prefer the non rc pneumatic machine? By the way I'm halfway through this build and it really is a pleasure to build and quiet challenging :) Just waiting on my pf light and 8878 batterie now so I can't do much more till then.

Really nice model even tho I do prefer RC, has this model many parts in total? It really is a masterpiece too look at :) Longer pneumatics would really benefit models like this and were looking at the present cylinders way too long now so come on lego make longer ones! I'm currently building jurgen s ultimate 8043 hope it's worth it too :)

Iv just remembered something I ordered the rechargeable lead from WASSERMAN SHOP, will that be a Europe plug does anyone know?

Quiet confused it never mentioned pneumatics on the service truck? For a price tag of nearly €120 I'm expecting a lot :) Any reason why we don't get pictures from the London toy show? -
If I knew that last nite I would have ordered there, I nearly pulled my hair out on brick link and I got someone with most of the parts although I had to get some parts in dark grey as he hasn't light grey, I didn't order that large grey panel for behind the remotes but I'm sure it's not very important is it? Also where did u order the bucket only 4 sellers have it but there min but was 6-10€.

Iv probably spent €2500 in the last 2 years on technic. Iv got nearly all the flagship sets now. Some sets like 8421 misb were expensive.

Yes but when u buy rechargeable AA s and then a charger it nearly works out the same price as 8878 from brick link. I just ordered my 8878 off the same person I hope it doesn't take that long. He told me 3-5 day s to Ireland.

I much prefer the b model of the crawler 9398. My least favorite is the 8043 b model it's not realistic drives too fast. -
Sapo I payed around €85.00 for all parts including shipping, all ordered this morning. The 8878 is expensive but will be worth it in the long run, I already had the 2 extra motors, 1 pf lights and a spare remote Did ur 8878 arrive yet?

Sapo is the boom construction not in the original booklet? Maybe jurgen can confirm this problem,iv heard others mention it too. Iv just ordered the extra parts,what a pain ha, also the parts are very expensive dam 8878 :(

It would be nice to have the claw from 42006 on 8043 :) I have two 8043 sets I'm just after taking one apart to build the ultimate 8043 , now iv a lot of parts to order ;(

Does anyone know would it be possible too fit the claw on 8043 or would it take a lot of modification? I think it would to off 8043 :) Iv no experience really in mocs but I'm building the ultimate 8043 in the next few weeks.

I'm glad u like ultimate 8043, i was also going to ask u about how difficult it was cause this is my first moc :) I'm going too see what extra parts I need later as I have some of them, did u buy the 8878 batterie box?

42006 is only €64 in Ireland , @ Ted I didn't know new parts can be got that soon off lego! Why are the new L motors not available or are they? 42006 is a great set :) I'm starting my first mic soon the ultimate 8043 as I have 2 of them! Have u built the ultimate 8043 Ted?

Normally new parts don't be out at lego till months after release of set, not sure about brick link tho but if they are I'd say there very €€€€ :)

Has anyone a simple extra parts required list for this as rebrickable is confusing. I have 8043 just want to know extra parts needed as I have some.

Would love anything rc+pneumatic I think they need to produce new parts to make this work.

Have u got the parts list needed? I have 8043 and want to do this mod, I have some parts but not 100% sure what I need! Do u find the instructions hard? Do u have to refer to the original books for stages?
