  1. I'm not 100% sold on the crane yet but it does look impressive , I'm not sure why people are talking about 8053, it doesn't even compare to this or 8421, I payed a lot for a misb 8421 last year and it really is a great set and pneumatic s top it off even if the boom drops, I'm kind of with allan on this one that , will it really be worth it if we have 8421, Also yes it has a 3 stage boom but so does 8421, will this new boom be any longer? Yes I will probably still buy this set :) I really want too see 42008 any pics yet??? And Paul said he seen catalogue and it has no pneumatics, so Paul next year look closer and stop giving us panic attacks and u said u would eat ur words too :) would u like salt!
  2. Yes this time of year we have a 2h thread, maybe pin the 2h thread as that's what is all about now :)
  3. Wahoooooo :) looks great very impressed, now maybe some info and pictures of 42008 :) Edit Wahoooo again look at the box for 42008 behind the crane , it has pneumatic on the box :)
  4. I ordered 8878 + charger + PF lights and 20cm extension lead. Shipping was €6 I think.
  5. I'm with ya Ted , seems we're the only two overly excited :) but as far as I remember the last 2 years we didn't get photos until 4-5 days into the fair :(
  6. Come on toy fair people :) don't leave us waiting 6 days for pics! Wouldn't I love to be in Nuremberg today for the start if the toy fair, There's people looking at 2h technic models now and we know nothing :(
  7. I'll tell u soon because mines nearly finished , just waiting on my 8878 to arrive, mine is the newer 8043. Could u maybe show us what u changed?
  8. I'm not sure if they will be useful at 90 degrees though, did u ask jurgen yet? Lots have built this model we not side effects, ill let u know how mine works when I'm finished.
  9. The clicking with the arm it fully down might be the internal clutches in the la,s as ur using an xl motor now. The clicking on the bucket seems to be the cv join hitting something. Maybe jurgen can help but he's gone missing on here lately :)
  10. Alasdair it's interesting u like 8436, I have that set mib :) never built it yet.
  11. Tomorrow starts the toy fair :) who normally brings us news or info pics etc? The fair is on from the 30th for 6 day s I wonder will we have to wait long for pictures? I'm very excited this week every year :)
  12. Iv a few questions, How many technic figures are there? What are the rare most expensive? Did they come with sets or alone? Is there really a female technic figure?
  13. I don't really like this set, I got it for a Christmas present and I decided to exchange it last week for 42006 which was the same price :) 42006 is way nicer for the money.
  14. The outriggers seem to be a big thing to people in this set don't get it :)
  15. Try get 8466 that's what I did and u will get 4 tires then :)
  16. There's a few but there expensive,the cheapest are these! http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=rbritton31&itemID=40519933
  17. That's a pretty easy answer, 8455! Best set of all time and in the top 3 :)
  18. I see that, 14th jan :( maybe he has email :) I remember jurgen saying the backhoe wouldn't lift the digger with the weight, I wonder would using one L motor to lift the rear boom be better? Is the L motor the same dimensions as the M motor?
  19. Yes it was a no brainer for the bucket alone, and it is 9% of the parts needed for jurgen s pf backhoe which will be my next moc after iv the ultimate 8043 finished(still waiting on 8878 to arrive) I'm starting to get into building mocs now and it's really enjoyable and jurgen s pf backhoe looks amazing :)
