    Yeah, the problem if you try to be too bold or different is that there's a reason why the ideas you are trying to ignore work. The best thing to do is to mix and match genres (as Ghostbusters and Shaun of the Dead do with the mixing of horror and comedy).

    But then that means recasting Harrison Ford and surely that must be worse for Indiana Jones fans than having a son take over?

    I don't think the Man Upstairs will but I wouldn't be surprised if Finn does and the story he creates involves Emmett making an appearance in some shape or form. He turns to videogaming instead and the LEGO minifigures are left to eternal boredom?

    Agreed. I think they'll send up everything people hate about high-school movies, maybe even with a fun cameo from Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

    One thing's for sure; in order to secure the future for the franchise, they need to kill him off and make Indiana Jones a title passed down through family.

    I'm glad it sounds like it's separate from the cartoon Ninjago because who wants to see a film based on a LEGO cartoon apart from kids?

    I'd like Jack too but I'd prioritise Missy/the Master over Captain Jack because s/he is a more important character and the main one that really needs to be playable IMO.

    Six months is crazy. Why can't they have at least one more wave before September? They've got plenty of franchises. Let's see a Missy fun pack, Ian Malcolm level pack featuring new voiceover work from Jeff Goldblum and a Gozer fun pack.

    As you said Rowan Atkinson is a comedy actor though whereas Chris Pratt is more of an all-rounds type. I can easily picture Chris Pratt as Indiana Jones, in fact I think he'd be better. I mean, look how perfect for the role he looks here: He even has Indiana Jones-esque music in the background during the scene! I would love to see Chris Pratt as the next Doctor. I could see him as a mix of Jon Pertwee and Patrick Troughton.

    I agree, Gamer Kid being a new character is a bonus. Shame they couldn't have given him a name though. Even calling him Billy Bob would be something.

    Maybe it's different in the Indiana Jones fanbase but I haven't seen many people say they want to see Harrison Ford in the main role again. In fact, I've seen more say the same as me that they should have him in a cameo with Chris Pratt as the lead.

    Nah, he's definitely too old. Need someone younger in the main role with Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones as just a cameo.

    I'm guessing they weren't expecting to make much money from it so just put a quick story together around playing the arcade games. It's a shame they couldn't have gone for some more iconic arcade games like Pac-Man and Space Invaders instead of Midway Arcade stuff.

    I doubt I'll see this film at the cinema if Chris Pratt's not in it and he doesn't take over from Harrison Ford by the end of the film. Chris Pratt would be perfect for future Indiana Jones films.

    Showing somebody is good at Quantum Physics would be pretty hard to do, considering most people don't know what that is.
