    I'm not sure but I doubt it's a rule that rescued characters can't also be NFC figures. There are characters who give out quests and are also playable as NFC minifigures though so definitely no reason why they couldn't do Missy (unless LEGO for some reason think there isn't enough of a demand to play as the Master). The more of us who make the same suggestions, the more likely it will be. We can only hope. It can also be used on Twitter; that's what they said in their tweet. Also - the response I got said they would pass my feedback on so they are accepting it:

    I'll be really annoyed if The Angry Birds Movie takes the place of new Doctor Who Dimensions packs. Sent a couple of suggestions for new Doctor Who packs to the developers concerning Clara Oswald and Missy fun packs (there is actually a form you can fill in with feedback/suggestions); hope they listen and release Clara and Missy as playable characters.

    They'll probably do their own storyline; I could imagine it being like a blend of the plots of The LEGO Movie and LEGO Dimensions.

    I can't speak for U.S. but here in the UK everybody knows the Doctor, Daleks, Cybermen, the Master, Sontarans, Silurians, Zygons, Ice Warriors, Autons, Sarah Jane Smith, K9 and Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart. There's lots of iconic characters they could do.

    Probably LEGO Doctor Who because that's the one LEGO game they've always wanted to make and now they have an excuse to do it.

    Nice to see them saving paper by only having one instruction sheet design on how to put the minifigures together as opposed to separate ones per blind bag figure.

    Yeah, minifigures of every Doctor shouldn't be exclusives but released worldwide as a set similar to Character Options' 11 Doctors action figure set.

    It would be good to be able to have the 12th Doctor in his hoodie and 1st/2nd Doctor-esque trousers from The Magician's Apprentice/The Witch's Familiar or Homer Simpson in his Mr Plow costume.

    I assumed skill tree meant unique skills for each character.

    Overall, yes. But the minifigure parts are intended to stay to represent who they are.

    Agreed. It's the little touches that made The LEGO Movie so enjoyable. I love being able to look closely at a film and think 'Oh look, there's X'.
